I know I say this almost every time you do an assembly Brent but I’m gonna say once more, it’s Great to see a True Craftsman at work doing things correctly. My late Pop taught me how to build engines from childhood and you obviously were taught correctly and are a Man who takes pride in what he does. Thank you.
Id just said outloud to myself, "Oh Wow, Look at that Crank" when you said, "Its a Shame to Cover this up" It is truly a work of Art, the Entire engine is a Work of Art!
I am glad you mentioned mid lift right angel, some just are concerned with the pattern.. Thank you for your knowledge and video's USA 🇺🇸 Blue Oval power 💪🏾
The reason he didn’t lube the sides of the thrust bearing was to get a perfect crank thrust measurement. The engine will be oil primed before start! 💪👍😁
Ed Curtis of Flotech Induction also sells a 7/16 fine thread ARP bolt and washer. I’ve bought them for SBF, not sure they’re the same, but I figured it was worth a mention.
What aluminum 427 side oiler do you prefer im building a stroker for my 1969 mach 1mustang that I habe since new im buying a little at a time to see if you can build itand what heads do you prefer
do you still not like alum blocks or only like the Shelby block ?And are you still using BBM iron blocks after the porosity issue ?Your attention to detail is unmatched I believe.

That is a thing of beauty

A professional at work. Glad to see how it's supposed to be done! It is all making more sense. 🎉
Looks like a chrome plated jewel. I want one.😮
Impressive to say the least and that crank, wow.

I don’t use it all the time. Just depends on how the rockers are designed. Most of the time, if you have a narrow pattern, you will be in good shape.

That is a beautiful engine
Any word on the crankshaft for the FE flat plane crank engine?
Looks awesome Brent! I would love to know how much it weighs complete!
anxious to see dyno numbers
Great tech as always. Thank you.

Are those intake push rods going to be at an angle? And if so will that affect lift?

What brand crank do you use in the482 fe and is it a 4340 forged steel and what cost am i looking at
Mostly Scat. They make a cast crank and a steel crank. The steel crank is $1250.
Is that going to be forced induction? Seems like overkill for a NA motor
