I swear, I’ve been a photographer and have been editing for over 15 years. I feel like I have my flow down pat…and then I watch these and feel like I know nothing! 😂😂 Your videos are my favorite to watch because you get to the point, are so informative, and explain things so well. And your photo shoots are always so fun and creative. Keep doing what you’re doing!! We appreciate you so much!! ❤ 🇺🇦
You are my idol when it comes to photography. Your videos has helped me with my photography for years! Your work is so beautiful, elegant and you know how to to bring out emotion. I look forward to your videos 😊
Thanks for these useful tips. A little quick tip: You don’t have to change the tool between color picker and brush. Just select the brush tool and press and hold the Alt (or option on mac) key to change temporarily to the color picker. So you can change the color more easily.
I am so glad I ran into your channel. You have taught me so much high end editing techniques. I literally binged watched all of your editing videos 😍Thank you! 🙌🏾❤️❤️
Hi Irene, I have watched some of your photo shoots before and am truly amazed at how you developed your technique over the years, especially sharing your editing skills. I will surely need these tips for my editing reference. Thanks a lot and more power.
I started photography a short time ago and these tips have really been very useful :') . Thank you very much Irene. BTW, I own a 5D Mark IV and I regret buying this camera. Not because it's bad, it's because at that price I was able to opt for a Canon R6, R8. I was guided by older photographers. Your oldest videos are a 5D Mark III and I love them, because they serve me so much right now. Really thank you very much
There are a lot of beautiful pictures out there, but yours are special to me. I would love to see more retouching videos, and using the selective color tool was an excellent tip. . Thanks, Irene
Thank you so much Irene for the very helpful and informative tutorial! I always learn from your videos and your generous tips, you share with the world! God bless you and good luck!
Hi Irene, I really love your work! I also believe, you can use healing brush in an empty layer (with considering current and below layer) instead of copying the original layer. This way it is non destructive change.
I feel like a fool, it never occurred to me to use blending modes with any of the healing brushes. I've come to completely rely on the technique with the clone stamp, but I'm excited to try this out!
Hi Irene, thanks for this. Couple of tips though...if you hold the Option key whilst painting, you can sample without switching to the eyedropper to speed things up. Also, your eyedropper was set to 'Point Sample' which risks selecting a noisy pixel
Always love your videos with great tips but one thing I noticed is that when you want to choose a color with the eyedropper tool you select the eyedropper tool to pick your color and go back to the brush tool to match the skin tones and so on. (Your tip number 4 I noticed this) My tip is to stay with the brush tool and press option (Mac) and you get the eyedropper tool and you're ready to brush in the colors you want without having to change tools each time. I hope this helps and I don't want to be the wise guy.....sorry for that.
Irene, probably you'll never see this message...however thanks for your tutorial, is super interesting and fast!I've a question...how do you makes the skin to be almost gold ,overall on black skin subjects? It the same stuff of the selective color but with yellow? Can you do a tutorial about it?Thanks a lot in advance! 😊
Hey! Selective color would be a great way to add the glow a color , you can also play around with the red and yellow slider to give it those rich colors :) good luck
Great video Irene!! What do you typically do to remove the bright spot on tip of nose (and on lips). I have used spot healing but wondered if better way. Thanks!
@@IreneRudnyk well, that is very odd. All of a sudden, all of my You Tube videos hav eno sound. I am not on mute, so there is something amiss somewhere.
@@IreneRudnyk Ok, problem solved. All was fine in my settings, so I restarted my Mac and that fixed the issue. Apologies, and yes, excellent video. Thank you :)

Great tips! :) The only thing I would take notice for next time is not to use the point sample when sampling colors, better use 5x5 or 11x11

Haha that’s good to hear!

Spot healing brush with mode switched to darken. Try that !
@@IreneRudnyk Thank you for the reply!! Will definitely try that!
Simple and useful. I would love to see video how not to spend hours with one picture because of too much d&b on details.
More tutorials ❤️
thanks for sharing.. :)
That looks brilliant! If only you had added some narration, so that it would be easier to follow.
