    Hey brother I need some help!!
    I did a Tune up valve adjustment

    I change my Turbo Actuator
    Oil change with all the filter, except the
    fuel /water separator. Because it still ok.
    Change fuel rail gasket
    Change Delta port sensor/Calibrated!
    My question is, how come I’m still getting same MPG without any differences what so ever.? The truck runs find. But after all that I would thought I would see some improvement you know. It’s a Cascadia Evolution 2015, 588750 miles. Thanks in advance for you time🙏🏼

    Hey great video I'm changing the housing gasket how do I adjust the gears

    • @CarlosDieselElectric
      @CarlosDieselElectric  2 года назад +1

      I first start with removing the valve cover so I can make sure the engine is TDC 1. You can see the timing marks. Then, you will need the CAM timing tool and the timing pin at the flywheel.
      You don’t have to adjust the gears. Just make sure the timing is set before you remove them and of course when you are going to need to set the CAM when you place them back down.

      Most guys are scared because they don’t know how to work on them. There are a lot of stories out there of guys working on them and the engines lock up.
      That happens for a few reasons. Not priming the oil and fuel system properly before starting the engine. Those are the two most common issues.

    Hey bro great videos man, just subscribed to your channel. Question im about to do the cam housing gasket. Of course im gonna pull the whole housing as one part. Thank you so much for your videos brother. God bless

    • @CarlosDieselElectric
      @CarlosDieselElectric  4 года назад +1

      I recommend to rotate the flywheel, once the CAM's are in position (meaning you see both marks on each CAM at the 12 o'clock). Then you are ready to begin, however you have to keep the CAM's from moving this way once you return the complete housing back in to it's place the CAM's will be in their correct position.
      Why aren't you just going to tear it all down and remove it piece by piece?

    • @CarlosDieselElectric
      @CarlosDieselElectric  3 года назад

      sandy bil If your flywheel is in the correct position and the timing pin is seated then the CAM should be lining up. I usually experience the intake is just slightly off center. I recommend to pick up the CAM and reposition as close to it as possible. Use the tool to line up the marks on the gear and then use the other part of the tool to line up the front part of the CAM. If the resistance is hard then you might be off. The front tool should slide out fairly easily.
