What do you think that those codes have something related w knocking sound when I am going up the hill ? Please help me if you can. Thanks in advance
Sorry for the late reply. Use the lobe on the intake to help, so rotate the engine and remember the firing order. 1-5-3-6-2-4 When the intake valve lobe is pushing up on the roller. When it stops pushing but before it starts to roll down. Stop and then adjust the exhaust brake only. I recommend adjusting the valves first. Then checking the exhaust or engine brake after. Makes it easier.

My freightliner Argosy Cummins power is cutting off engine when the engine brake is on,and the engine brake is coming in lately,we replaced the clutch switch but still giving same problems
It’s actually not that difficult to do although I have not worked Mack or Volvo engine in awhile. The timing marks are in the CAM, as you rotate the engine you line up the mark in between the hash mark then make the adjustment. But, the exhaust brake does require a shim for the lash. Most valve adjustments or tune ups run about $350-$450
