engine timing for dd platform engines DD13 DD15 DD16 is pretty similar for all the year, however, the timing tools vary depending on the actual year. always double check the year of your dd engine before inspecting the timing.

These videos went from awesome to shit real quick. Too many overspeed videos with no commentary or info. Wrong tightening sequence and torque is 15 ft-lbs then 37-40 ft-lbs and rear two 10 mm bolts are 22 ft-lbs. Start with the center bolts and work your way outwards to the ends. 7 bolts in center then the outside bolts starting at the center in cross pattern. The following is the tightening sequence.
18 14 10 8 12 16 20 *
6 4 2 1 3 5 7 Two stars represent the two rear most bolts (10mm) that should be started a few threads before the 21 bolts to keep timing lined up.
19 15 11 9 13 17 21 *
