Re: clefable and Zorark - there's also the "rainbow road" toxtricity single prizer and a farigiraf that has an attack with a multiplier based on how many stage 1s are in play. I think they're both DTE attacks. Not saying it's good, just saying that it feels like that's what they're building into. It obviously still needs more because that's a lot of deck space

yo you guys definitely have to count those Pidgeot Control decks with 1-0-1 Charizard as a Charizard deck. Game 3 of the finals had a solo 430 HP Charizard that dealt 330 damage with no drawbacks. That's literally peak Charizard. no way it doesn't count

I’m gonna be honest, I love HypnoToxic and would love to see it come back. With the amount of switching options we have I think it would be annoying but not oppressive.

I love seeing the Marzan love. His wild miraidon ex build from Milwaukee won me a booster box and he's been my favorite deck builder ever since!

Somehow I actually got Whirlipede correct. I just had a feeling it was that over Donphan
Walking wake being weak to Iron hands makes me feel like it won't be good, even with a Booster it's getting one shot for two prizes. Where the scream tail with a booster is alive. Plus I've never used it but the attack can be more easily used since it's colorless, and maybe stops a Greninja play? Honestly the other with a luminous could be good, though you'd have to draw into your one luminous, and tail at the perfect time.

Azul is talking about swoop teleporter. That came from the ex era so it could be reprinted because we have a time machine and teleporter in SV area zero. The effect could be balanced with a luxury ball additional text where you can’t play it if another copy is in your discard pile.

I think one thing you're forgetting to factor in when it comes to the immediacy of high Raging/Ogrepon deck usage is that isn't Ogrepon ex the free deck for the new set? And Raging Bolt was for Temporal Forces, iirc, so the accessibility for the new deck is through the roof online. Like how everyone was playing Miraidon when SV came out, cuz you just... had all the pieces for it ready to go basically.

What whirlipede is my favorite pokemon how did you not get it
For the Philippines we got at most 6 invites. The top 2 finishers in Nationals and the Top 4 points getters will get their invite. But since Sky won Nationals and was apart of the top 4 point-getters, the Philippines will have 5 players in worlds.
I was on Donphan the whole way as well.
How would you say charizard adapts to the current meta?
I just started playing competitively and I had decided to go with a deck that “didn’t have to worry about the meta” because it was the META. However I’m not willing to buy another deck… how can I make the best of what I have?

Charizard reminds me of Mew in that when no one is prepared for it, it’ll do well!! I’m sure we’ll see it top or even win, even if it’s in a control deck or Dragapault deck
