- Episode 5 in the Polo 9n (2002-2009) repair series shows whats involved in re-gassing the air conditioning system.
The process is the same on most modern cars but the low pressure inlet may be in a different location.

Your starter motor isn't disengaging from the flywheel properly when you start, hence that weird noise

i've proble with my 9N VW Polo 1.4, i want to radiator fan turn on earlier because i live in tropical country and the temprature east to hit 90 degree. how should i do to make radiator fan spinning earlier.?

Spent hours looking on my 2000 polo just to find it doesn't have a/c I feel stupid
If it was a Porsche with no A/C they would have an RS badge on the back and charge £20000 more for it.

They are different sizes. You won't be able to fit the refill pipe to the wrong port.
Where did u get this kit from mate? Got the same car lol.
I bought the fill gauge and gas through Amazon.
@@AstonishingGlasgow nice one, quick one. when your regassing it. Does the AC light need to be lit up amber, and the arrow recirculating button pressed And the car blowing So it’s active at the time of you regassing it? 🙏🏼 would appreciate the help
When you do it have the AC on and at the coldest setting, fans on full and recirculating off.

It's the starter of the car
mine does the same, it's the starter motor, can be fixed or replaced, I think you need to grease some internal components...
Mine did the same, greased the starter and it's been fine ever since.
Seems very common in polo cuz mine does same sound 😂
Isnt the air con meant to be a seal system ie ur ondenser might have a leak so isnt refelling it pointless?
Could be but if the condenser had a leak I would only have expected the fix to work for a short time but it is still working now. I suspect that after 20 years there is a dry seal somewhere that is causing a tiny leak which over time drained the system. Tracking down this tiny leak will cost more time and effort than re-filling when needed though next time I will treat the system to a leak fix and oil treatment. I didnt this time as the system may have had a catastrophic leak and it would have been a waste.

in my car when AC on, sometimes small fan OFF but sometimes ON..when Fan OFF AC not cold... what is the promblem? thank you for your answer
You need the fan on to blow the cold air into the car. Im pretty sure the AC pump stops turning when the fan is off to the AC condenser is doing nothing.
So the problem is in AC pump? So the system is when AC pump running it will triger small fan to running ?
No. You don't have a problem. If the fan is off the AC is designed not to work. You need to turn on the fan if you want AC air.
