Works is simply our faith in action. Yankee has the guts to preach true salvation offered by a just God. Praise Jesus and His Holy Name for saving us and letting us serve Him out of His salvation.

It is a breath of fresh air to hear a free gracer teaching on service. If more of us did this it might cut down a little on the anti free grace banter. Service needs to be emphasized in free grace theology.

It's better to not attend church at all than attend one with a false gospel. 99% of them teach false doctrine unfortunately.

Look for a church that is a KJV only, soul-winning, independent fundamental baptist church.
Modern bible versions have lot of changes / mistranslations, so of which are very misleading and not good for spiritual growth/ health.

In the Bible, the phrases "love of the world" and "renewal of the mind" are contrasted to highlight two different attitudes and perspectives that believers can have. Let's explore their meanings:
Love of the World: The "world" in this context refers to the worldly system and values that are contrary to God's ways and principles. It encompasses the sinful and selfish desires, pursuits, and influences that are prevalent in society. The love of the world refers to an excessive attachment, affection, or desire for the things that the world offers, which can lead to spiritual compromise, disobedience, and a drifting away from God.
In 1 John 2:15-17, it says, "Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world-the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life-is not from the Father but is from the world. And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever."
The love of the world involves seeking fulfillment, satisfaction, and security in worldly pursuits such as material possessions, fame, power, or sensual pleasures. It prioritizes temporal and worldly pleasures over the eternal and spiritual values of God's kingdom.
Renewal of the Mind: The renewal of the mind, as mentioned earlier, is a transformative process that occurs in the life of a believer through the work of the Holy Spirit. It involves a change in one's thinking, perceptions, and worldview to align with God's truth and ways.
Romans 12:2 states, "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect." This verse highlights the importance of resisting conformity to the world's patterns and allowing the Holy Spirit to renew our minds.
Renewing the mind involves filling our thoughts with God's Word, seeking His wisdom and guidance, and aligning our beliefs, attitudes, and values with His truth. It leads to a transformation of character, perspective, and behavior, enabling us to discern God's will and live in obedience to Him.
The contrast between the love of the world and the renewal of the mind is about the believer's allegiance and focus. It urges believers to prioritize their affection, desires, and devotion to God and His kingdom rather than being captivated by worldly values and pursuits. The renewal of the mind helps believers gain a godly perspective that helps them resist the allure of the world and live according to God's will.
Ultimately, the Bible encourages believers to have a renewed mind that aligns with God's truth, leading to a life of obedience, holiness, and a focus on eternal values rather than being ensnared by the temporary and fleeting pleasures of the world.

You do good Deeds like help others, Watch your Tongue, Don't hurt anyone and Try your best not to Sin , Not for Salvation or even be more righteous to God but because It's the right moral thing to do and it can be a testimony to your Faith ! Has nothing to do with Salvation.

James 1:1 says the book is addressed to the 12 tribes scattered abroad. Is the church those who believe? Or is the church the 12 tribes? This book makes more sense if it’s written to the Jews during the tribulation.
