I'm so sorry for your families loss. Andy was really inspirational to a lot of people, including myself. I'm glad I got to meet him in New Orleans last winter. I'll pray for your strength during this time.
I lost my dad several years ago and yeah it is hard especially at first and this little time to grief are going to hit you from time to time for years to come because you don't get over that quickly but keep moving forward girl and I will watch if you post it
Andy touched more lives than he could have ever imagined. I was told by a old professor one time that we all have a purpose to be here. Andy served his purpose to make guys like me not complain about silly things. Andy if you see this, we love you buddy and thank you for being a real man for guys like me to strive to fill your shoes. Fly high bro until we meet again. God bless all his loves ones he left behind.
Amen. This man deserved to live. Why do we loose people who are so good hearted in a world full of hate, evil. Andy was and will always be a reminder when life presents challenges to keep pushing through moving forward. Dam. My father in laws passing was horrific. We hospiced him in home. 4 of us. My wife and her brother, then me and his wife. No doctors. Us suctioning his throat administering meds. Had dementia and a brainstem stroke. Could not pass a swallowing test. Which means for those who don’t get the significance. When you drinking something its going in the lungs and stomach. Drowning to death. Did not want feeding tubes. Was not a peaceful passing.

My Heart is Broken for you, Korky, Kylie and the whole of the Detwiler Family... I'm in Tears and will struggle to write this but I believe that you should know... Andy touched so many people, all over the World! His incredible, upbeat and positive attitude was certainly an inspiration to me. Andy helped me more than he could ever know, I'm a disabled British War Pensioner with damage to both shoulders, arms and hands and my Occupational Health Nurse advised me to watch Andy and you all, when the channel was in it's infancy. Andy showed me that living a constructive life with my injuries, was not only possible.... But fun and fulfilling!! Andy has helped me move from being in a place where suicide had become an option... Wallowing in self pity and anger... To the life that I am trying to lead today. There's a place in Heaven for Andy.... He deserves it and has earned it. I always remember asking Andy (on your livestream) about wearing a seatbelt when he was driving "Demolition Derby" and he said "No!!!" That helped me, no end. He was a genuine winner in my eyes, to overcome his disabilities and still be competitive and have fun!! Oh I really am heartbroken for you all. God Bless Andy, the World is a little bit worse off because Andy is no longer in it!! Take care of each other and support each other through time ahead. You are all in my thoughts and prayers at this very sad time. RIP Andy. We will all miss you, Gone but never forgotten. 😭😭🙏🙏🏴🇬🇧🇺🇸
Well said. He was so inspiring and entertaining. I told people all the time, check this guy out whenever anyone was having a bad day. Thanks to the whole family for sharing him with the world. God bless you all.

I lost my leg a a few years ago and was having trouble with the spe certification process. So much so that I had completely given up on working again. Then I found Andy’s channel just completely by chance. After just a few videos I had a completely new mindset about life and haven’t stopped or looked back since. He was such a huge, pivotal inspiration for me and I don’t think him or his family will ever understand fully just how crucial that was at that time. Rest In Peace Andy, and thank you.
Hearing about Andy was a punch in the gut for me... I never miss a video. I have a farm in northern KY and had big hopes that I might show my place and cattle to Andy one day.... Whenever I'd be feeling sorry for myself thinking I had it rough id watch one of Andy's videos.... It never failed to inspire me and put things into perspective.... You guys have a wonderful loving family... I'll continue to watch every video..... Heart goes out to you...

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my dad at 53 years old last November. I was 19, only a few months into school at Ohio State. The journey is so hard, but each day I remember him and take another step forward. Sending you love and light.
I’ve watched Andy‘s channel ever since I was in third grade and I still watch it and I still grieve the day he passed. I love to watch him work with his feet change oil filters, change tires shift, gears, and the big truck and he was truly a role model for me .

I hope they see this and will understand that you went through a similar deal with your own father and could be of some help to them if they find themselves in a difficult situation dealing with an untimely death of their father. Death is a difficult thing and many people deal with it in their own ways but sometimes all it takes to help someone get through it , is just a little conversation with someone who has been through it before.
It is great/awesome/wonderful that you offered your love and support. I’ve always been impressed with your sense of caring and hope that you will encourage other RUclipsrs to come here to their page and show some love.
Was just thinking I hadn't seen a video in a few months and feared the worst. So sorry for your loss. Andy was such an inspiration to so many people. Dude did more with no arms than most people did with both. Fly high Andy.
Oh gosh, how heartbreaking 😔. So much up and down, an emotional Rollercoaster. He gave it everything he possibly could. I'm so sorry for all heartache you've gone through trying to fight this and being so hopeful. But I know you are grateful for every extra minute you had together ❤️
A few day's before the bad news, I had just mentioned how great Andy was to my co workers. I'm so sorry for your loss, you now have the best angel looking out for you. RIP Andy
Im so, so sorry for your families loss. May his memory be eternal. What an amazing life. His videos helped me fighting lung cancer, helped me to fight back when i wasn't sure i had any fight left. A good man who will never be forgotten.
Just look at the smile on Andy’s face in those photos. He lived a genuinely happy life. I’m so glad to have found him here on RUclips. RIP Andy, you will be greatly missed.
I can’t imagine how vulnerable you felt when doing this video, but as a fan of Harmless Farmer I simply want to say “Thank You” for giving this to us. May God bless you all.
I am so sorry, I lost my husband of 36 years in June. It is so painful, I am so sorry for your loss. What a tremendous man, a true inspiration of the indomitable soul.
We are all very fortunate to have met such a kind soul. The inspiration and love he showed to so many spoke highly of his love to God. We all will miss him but know he lived a extraordinary life and blessed so many. We love you all very much and thank you for sharing. God bless my friends
Scott, I still remember the day you guys were doing your live stream and sent everyone over to Andy's channel as he was also doing a live stream right after getting diagnosed with cancer. He and Kylie could not figure out why some many people were joining their live stream. Andy was almost brought to tears. I have watched his channel since One Lonely Farmer talked about him way back in the beginning. Thoughts and prayers to the family.
Iam deeply sorry to learn of Andy's passing, my deepest condolences to his wife & daughter also immediate family & friends. What an amazing inspirational man he was carrying out his life & work on the farm with such courage & dedication . As a 76 year old retired farmer , the jobs I took for granted on the farm , Andy seemed to find ways of doing them with such courage & determination. From Australia, RIP Andy.
Not a farmer and not even subscribed to this channel, but am greatly saddened by your loss. I ran across this channel a couple times completely on accident quite a while ago and was absolutely inspired by Andy's attitude with all life had thrown at him. Reminds me of my own grandpa. I can only imagine the heartbreak you guys must be going through and offer my condolences to you all as you grieve. Just wanted to share that Andy was such an inspiring man that even my short viewing of his videos touched me permanently. You'll all be in my prayers.
I woke up this morning wondering why I haven’t seen a video of Andy in a long while and I just learned of his passing. What an amazing individual that should inspire anyone to not let anything stand in their way of achieving what they want to do in life! He made us all smile! He is greatly missed, and this world was a better place with him in it!
I’m so sorry to hear of Andy’s passing. He was such an inspiration. As a farmer myself in the UK, it always amazed me how managed to do day to day farming chores. You must all be so proud of him. I will miss his videos.
I know how hard this was for you to do. Upload timing was perfect for us, as we just finished working calves, so the kids are all here too.. watching is just as hard for us, as making the video was for you, not a dry eye in the house!! Andy definitely touched many people in his life, I'm sure there are some great stories to be told. ❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏 To your whole family!!! Andy did a good job showing you both how to do things, you will make it work!!!
My heros aren’t sports figures, Hollywood actors, historical figure or politicians..they’re people like Andy. I watched his vids for inspiration and will continue to do so with more intensity. Hero 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
As someone who does not have the use of my legs, Andy was a great encouragement to me. Praying for you all as you grieve. Will miss watching Andy being amazing and showing everyone that just because things are rough or different doesn't mean you can't have the most full and impactful life. Much love from Missouri.
Us farmers down here in the south got word of this late. So sorry for your loss. He was definitely an inspiration for a lot of farmers and people! Anything y'all need, let us know! We'll be more than happy to help out anyway possible. Thanks so much Andy for giving us a smile and motivation to live. We love y'all. Glad you cleared this up. Multiple channels showed a crash, and said cancer. But we don't listen to others that aren't the source. Keep on keeping on!
I was about to start crying with y'all, until that cat hollered. Glad to see y'all giggle too. Sorry for y'all's loss. He was inspirational man. Prayers for everyone.
Your family is in my prayers! When I came across Andy on RUclips, I was immediately struck with his can-do attitude, and his ability to get so much done without complaining. It really made me rethink how I act, and made me want to watch myself, and keep a good attitude. He really is a great example to so many.
I was so saddened to hear about Andy’s passing. He just had called me out in his last video asking for help on that 1600 steering box. I know you guys have a lot going on but if you ever need help working on those Olivers just let me know and I’ll do what I can to help you! Andy was a great guy who never let anything keep him from doing what he loved. I know it’s rough right now, but think of all the good times. I know he was super proud of you both!
I'll second what Ross said. For a guy I had never met in person, it really saddened me to hear the news of Andy's passing. It says so much about him when he could connect with so many people just with a smile in a youtube video. I'm also available for helping with the Olivers when the time comes.
I'm so very grateful that I was able to get to know Andy for a short period of time ,but in that short time it felt like I have known him all my life ! His attitude during his whole time with his cancer was so incredible that my little aches and pains where so minor compared to what he was going through! I'm so very grateful to the whole Detwiler family and you and Kylie for sharing him with all of us ! The tribute to Andy was incredible! Iam blest to have know Andy Detwiler !!! You are always in our prayers! Dan and Debbie Danielson ♥️
I’m terribly sorry for your loss, Andy had the best attitude to life and always stayed positive, a much loved gentleman and will be missed by all dearly.
I can’t stress enough what meeting and gettin to know Andy meant to me.. he was and always will be beyond an inspiration. This world is a better place because of Andy.
This hit me like a ton of bricks, Ive been busy at work and away from YT. I knew he had some issues but always thought that this is Andy, he will kick whatever was ailing him. After all He kicked cancer. I am so so sorry for your loss. I am totally heartbroken for you both and the whole family. Andy was such an inspiration to me at one of my darkest times. I will never forget him for that. RIP Andy. You will be missed.
I had the pleasure of spending some time with Andy and he truly was an inspiration. With all the adversities this man faced within his life I never saw Andy without a smile on his face. What a great example of how to live your life. Thank you for sharing him with us. We will miss him and his videos, we here in Champaign county are here for anything you and your family needs. Much love.
Oh no guys! I am so very sorry to hear this. After I dry my eyes I will be praying for you all. I know you don’t need me to tell you what a remarkable man Andy is. He was an inspiration to me and I enjoyed his videos immensely. I can’t imagine the loss you must feel. Please let us know if you need anything. God Bless.
I am late to the news, but please accept my sincere condolences on Andy’s passing. What an inspirational man he was. I have watched him for a couple years. I had wondered why I hadn’t seen anything from him but I have been out with health issues myself. My thoughts and prayers will be with you both and the entire family and community of friends 🙏🏻
Rest In Peace Sir. You were an inspiration. Thoughts and prayers to the family. I lost my father to cancer and it really sucked. Stay strong and know he would want you to be happy.
It's truly amazing how much someone I never had the pleasure of meeting, can evoke the feelings one would only expect from the loss of a lifelong friend. My deepest sympathy and condolences go out to Andy's family friends from this fellow farmer. Rest easy Harmless Farmer.
He will never be forgotten, it happens to the best of ‘em. He’s in all of our hearts. Your hearts, such a amazing person. A Harmless Farmer. Rest in Peace Andy Detwiler ❤
So sorry to hear of Andy’s passing. Thank you both for the announcement and the beautiful tribute. Andy will live forever in our hearts and in our thoughts. RIP friend.

Thank you for facing the camera and telling us what happened. I’m not sure how I stumbled upon this channel, but I was instantly hooked. I am no farmer and I never knew Andy, and yet somehow it still feels like I lost a friend. May he Rest In Peace.
RIP Andy. Although we never met, you helped me tremendously while I was going through dark times battling lung cancer. I can’t thank you enough my friend.

Andy may have been sized a bit smaller but he was a giant of a man. His attitude, stamina, and outlook on life, made him head and shoulders above most! He will be greatly missed!
Man I just found out this today. That man touched a lot of peoples lives. God blessed him to have people like you close to him. God bless you and your family.
Thank you corky and Kylie for sharing this with us. Your whole world has been torn apart, and still has part of ours. I'm glad to hear that you're going to continue with the videos. You know it and you've heard it You're part of our family and our lives now too. We all know that he touched everybody's lives. I'm not sure what else to say because it's been said a thousand times. Words can't describe how he will be missed. May God bless you both and the rest of the family. When you're ready we will all be ready and waiting for new videos. Until we all meet again Andy rest in peace.
I am so sorry to hear about Andy’s passing. His channel came up on my RUclips feed about a years ago and I was so inspired by all he did. He didn’t let his disability keep him from doing what he loved to do. I’m starting a small farm he in VA and I saw one of his videos on repairing a clutch in one of his tractors and I was so impressed on how he did things without any arms. He was an amazing guy with a determination not many have today. Thank you for keeping his legacy alive and for allowing us the opportunity to be a part of the family. RIP Andy.
I am so sorry to hear this. He was so inspirational in the ways he approached his challenges. There have been many times in my shop when I struggle (even with) all my limbs and fingers dropping wrenches and getting frustrated with the job and I would think.....man....Andy could do this with his feet. Rest in Peace Andy.
I’m a huge Andy fan, I’m so sorry for your loss. He is so amazing to me. Your all such a great Family. I will continue to watch your video’s, I’m sending thoughts and prayers to all you Guy’s. With Love from the Harrington’s in Missouri.
Thank you for setting the record straight! I'm so sorry for your loss. I always thought that Andy would have made a great motivational speaker, he was always so positive about things in his life. When I first started watching his channel, I remember you guys on skiing vacation in Colorado i think, and Andy skiing down the hill with his sleeves just a flapping in the wind! Just an awesome memory. May he always walk in the loving light of our lord Jesus Christ.
Mr.Ken...Andy had been doing public motivational speaking as often as his schedule would allow before his cancer diagnosis...I wonder if his family could share one of his speeches sometime?
You don’t find many people like Andy in this world. With all of his “disabilities” he managed to push himself to the max. Rest in peace to a legend and most importantly a hard worker. Prayers to the family
Thank you for sharing all of this with us. Andy was an amazing man and he certainly does have an awesome family. The Butterfly at 20:26 has special meaning and I gasped when I saw it so clearly, for many people it has a spiritual meaning, a very good meaning.. I found this channel just recently and I intend to be here , thank you all!
I just found this site last night by happenstance. I am so very sorry for your loss. What an inspirational man! Talk about a 'No quit, get er done!' kind of guy, and the family and friends that go with him! Praying for you All. Rest in Peace Sir!👈🙏

I am so sorry, Beth. I know the holiday season can be extra hard, so I’m sending you peace and strength from an internet stranger who cares. 🕯
You'll all be in my prayers.
dont know what to say besides same.

Facts. Made me in a lot of ways stop making excuses. He was such a good man. May he rest in peace.

He will be missed. I enjoy watching him on the farm and working on the tractors 🚜
Surprisingly bc yall have internet!! Or yall still use pony express ;-)

Andy was definitely an extraordinary man. His faith in God was obvious. Y’all are in my prayers.
Your family is in my prayers! When I came across Andy on RUclips, I was immediately struck with his can-do attitude, and his ability to get so much done without complaining. It really made me rethink how I act, and made me want to watch myself, and keep a good attitude. He really is a great example to so many.
You have heaps of content of Andy for shorts possibly.great way to keep his memory alive ... Rip Armless farmer a true gentleman..
Rip Andy. It was amazing how you never let your disability hold you back
I was so saddened to hear about Andy’s passing.
So unfortunate to have a great loss. Fabulous history of memories. God Bless you. Many tears here.
I'm so sorry for this huge loss. Andy was an inspiration to us all and he will never be forgotten.
Thoughts and prayers to you as well. Thank you

It's truly amazing how much someone I never had the pleasure of meeting, can evoke the feelings one would only expect from the loss of a lifelong friend. My deepest sympathy and condolences go out to Andy's family friends from this fellow farmer. Rest easy Harmless Farmer.

Thank you for facing the camera and telling us what happened. I’m not sure how I stumbled upon this channel, but I was instantly hooked. I am no farmer and I never knew Andy, and yet somehow it still feels like I lost a friend.

I’m so sad to see that Andy has died. He was a man that touched many, always had a smile on his face and a true love for life. I will miss him.
He was a good hard working farmer he’ll be missed but not forgotten ❤
You don’t find many people like Andy in this world. With all of his “disabilities” he managed to push himself to the max. Rest in peace to a legend and most importantly a hard worker. Prayers to the family
Farewell to an amazing man with a heart of gold. The rest of the world be a better place if more people were half as great as Andy.
Andy was a blessing to all of us out here. Sorry for the loss. Fly high Andy.
Yes I felt the same thing when I saw the butterfly
I just found this site last night by happenstance. I am so very sorry for your loss. What an inspirational man! Talk about a 'No quit, get er done!' kind of guy, and the family and friends that go with him! Praying for you All.
