@@karlinsummerI personally think the contrast is very pleasing to my artistic eye, mainly because you're balancing it out with black and white from the floor tile. The gold touches also tie it all together. I feel like if you do a wallpaper it might be too "busy" looking but then again I'm not sure what wallpaper you'd want to do so who knows it could be equally beautiful! I think you did a fantastic job!!
Love this! I live in a mid century with all original pink tiles. It’s so nice to see when people appreciate the character of a house from this era. Great for resale too!
This is nice! I def would’ve put in some different floor tiles because those look hard to clean and easy to get dirty. I like the contrast of the black and the aqua, but it does seem a bit dark, though it makes the aqua pop.
I admit it. I wasn't feeling the black trim.. I actually cringed. Then that floor with dark grout went down and I saw the BRILLIANCE of your choice! Well done.
Im so glad you kept tile as well and I love the wall color. I think it came out great and the wall color was brave because I would have never guessed how well it would go together. I also agree it was the way to go to keep it's original vintage feel. Nice job I love it so much. ❤
I’m so glad you kept the old tiles bc they’re beautiful omg
Not just beautiful, but lasting!!
I almost had a panic attack thinking that you were going to get rid of all that mid century wonderful! I’m so glad you didn’t!!!
This is one of the best updates/modernization I've seen with the vintage tile! I love how you blended it!!! Wonderful!
I'm so glad you didn't demo the tile. I think the wall colors is a little dark. A lighter grat mat compliment the aqua a little more.
Yesss I love saving vintage tile! I agree, it’s not the right shade of gray 😕 could I do a wallpaper you think??
@@karlinsummer a wallpaper with a pattern fitting the time period that has the aqua in it would be beautiful!

Thank you for not destroying it!!
That looks so goooood! Most of these renovations I see are totally unnecessary but you really made that rough bathroom shine
Thank you so much!! And minimal demo, always the goal 🙌💕
I’m so glad you kept the tile😭😭😭😭 I love when u ‘update’ without destroying something beautiful!

Gorgeous attractive. I love your finished product ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I love the teal and black together ❤
I love the darker wall with the tile! Beautiful combination and, to me, it makes it not as busy as it would with a white/light wall.
You did incredible!! Absolutely love it!
That looks really good.

It looks fantastic!!
I hated the trim being changed to black.....then you added the floors and I loved it. Great choices!
The mosaic floor tile you chose looks 1920s not midcentury.
I absolutely LOVE it!! I love these older bathrooms.
Nicely done!
Beautiful! ❤

Wow it looks really good! You definitely made it your own!
It’s amazing!!
