ohh sweet , i got it and it was very easy , btw may i suggest , when i move an item by ALT key lets say on 1st floor , the item does down to ground, make it stay on 1st floor...have a good day!

@@sukikurosaki2377 Thing is, EA does hire talented programmers, but from reading autopsies of several EA projects, like Anthem, most of its studios have turned into environments that actively discourage their employees from being creative and productive.

2 years later, I finally found the "courage" to try to actually use TOOL. Thank you for your amazing work, the video was very clear. Took some notes of the key combinations, and gonna dedicate my week-end to try to create a playable kid's park outside of my home (like in the neighborhood). Thank you again for everything, and to be able to give us, simmers, almost absolute freedom on our builds. We are grateful ! (and you absolutely are allowed to brag way more than that..)
Me too. It was actually a lot easier than I thought I am using to create kids parks. I am also putting objects all over the neighborhood because in some cities there is nothing to do outside of the lot.
I too waited years before giving this a try. I always wanted to but was too intimidated by all the things but with the way the game is going, it's death is inevitable... mods like these make it so even if they abandon Sims 4 all together, we still have SOMETHING to make it playable and fun!

I can't believe what you've done here. This is some fantastic, fantastic work. As a newcomer to TOOL, my jaw was dropped with each feature you explained. Complete game changer. Maybe TS4 will finally be playable with this mod.

I agree with you. I've seen the Mod used by builder youtuber (ahem, freezerbunny), and I thought it was way too complicated for me. It still is. But I am so amazed now, that I will have to use it.

This mod absolutely saved my game!!! I got the mystical magic bean tree stuck off lot and couldn't delete it or do anything with it. Using the T.O.O.L. mod let me put it back on the lot so I could finally get ride of it! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! :)

Sometimes, when I cant sleep at night I marvel at the sheer fact that this mod defied the game completely. I'm not a programming kind of person so idk if this is really an easy or a complex work for the modders but nevertheless, I'm so amazed at this TOOL. Like...wow.
This is such a gooood tutorial for my favourite mod on earth 😭 by the time I cannot build without it, even for silly things like rotating a wooden plank 😂 it changed my building process so much in a positive and creative way and I'm honestly so grateful for it, so thank you ❤️ Also, I'm so honoured and humbled you featured my iron throne in this video!! EXCELLENT TUTORIAL MATE!!! I'm learning so much more about how to use THE MOST AMAZING MOD IN THE WORLD lol - also you have a wonderful voice FYI (not intended to sound creepy lol). I never understood how to use the move feature with the grid system so it is so amazing to have you explain it with the visuals! I LOVE THE NEW Gravity Pull feature! You are so freakin smart! lol This is especially helpful when I need to reposition an object like a wall object that automatically drops back to the floor when you try to move it. ALSO THE SCALE FEATURE!!!! There have been SO MANY times when the EA scale is either too big or too small so this is a GAME CHANGER for me!!! I am gonna have SO MUCH more fun now with these features! Also I always wondered how people replaced apartment windows - I don't usually build in apartments but this its such a cool option! I especially love the part where you say the Eco balconies had too many bugs, but that your mod "doesn't care where the build/buy boundaries are" HAHAHAHA - EA needs to hire you and make your mod part of the game! THANK YOU so much for showing some of my creations, I am so honored!! HUGS
Thanks, I hate listening to myself in recordings so I appreciate it lol. Also it sounds like you might want to turn snap to terrain off in TOOL settings if you mean the object drops to the ground when you move with tool.

I meant when I use objects intended as wall decor from the game as a stand alone object and it drops to the floor if I have to reposition it (that kept happening when I created the dragon) - in the past - now with your mod I can adjust it while it stays at the height I had it - if that makes any sense! Also, although it takes a lot of time to rotate stuff as you mentioned, it is still SO FUN!!! I love that I have the option to go nuts with your mod and make crazy stuff! Totally worth the time it takes! You are my Sims4 spirit animal LOL

Thank-you so much for this. I've had a chicken stuck outside my plot since just after installing Cottage Living and therefore Grim stuck on my lot since then. I'd tried everything I could think of but finally the chicken is at peace and Grim is gone!

This legit just happened to me. I only started using this mod today because I'm playing in a rather interesting save file (Simnation Save V1.3) and did what he said at 2:52 just one second before he said it. No wonder my Retro Rocketship disappeared.
I just discovered this tool. Well done! It's not often you can call a tool an absolute game changer, but the term fully applies here. And thank you for the thorough tutorial. If/when you update TOOL, an updated tutorial of this caliber would be fantastic. After all, here is always someone new (like me) discovering the mod. I just supported you on Patreon, too. Highly recommend checking my newer video on TOOL in build mode, it's a lot more efficient than using it in live mode :)

i was already mindblown by the first minutes, rotate and elevate, but after seeing the gravity pull and the apartment windows bits, this is actually fucking nuts, what you've done. the sims community cannot thank you enough for doing this, i hope i can save some of my pocket money so i can support you on patreon in the future
I've been playing the sims since the first one came out 200 years or so ago; how did I not know about this mod???? Good job man, now let me go and see if I can figure this out. Hooray!
I have had Tool for months and I am just now learning how to use it. I am loving it so far and watching this video gave me an idea to make something. I am excited to use it a lot more.

You are a genius! I hadn’t seen the update and went looking specifically to see if you’d added scaling and you have done so much more! I actually already changed the doors in most apartments in San Myshuno, works perfectly, but was hell with the ones where the grid is on a diagonal.

Thank-you so much for this. I've had a chicken stuck outside my plot since just after installing Cottage Living and therefore Grim stuck on my lot since then. I'd tried everything I could think of but finally the chicken is at peace and Grim is gone!

This legit just happened to me. I only started using this mod today because I'm playing in a rather interesting save file (Simnation Save V1.3) and did what he said at 2:52 just one second before he said it.
