Just when the stigma of backroom gambling (that gave pool a bad rap for decades) was being replaced by pro level tournament coverage and promotions offering good money for pro players, this comes out and brings it all back to the forefront. Not a great idea even though the back stories would be interesting.
Huh? That's like saying a movie about the history of the United States shouldn't have the civil war in it because it would bring slavery "to the forefront". The history is the history.
@ South County here. I’m thinking about opening a huge pool room 20 -30 tables bar and restaurant. Honest opinion. Do you think pool is making a big enough comeback that St. Louis can support a professionally run pool room with the size to have a few major Tournaments a yr ?

Finally a movie about pool that I can look forward to! It's been a LONG time since someone made one worth watching.
I feel it's a documentary more than a movie with actors portraying fictional characters.

Except for SVB and Woodward pool players in America are all broke. There isn't good money for pro players. Unless they are top 20 in the world.
