- Days 3&4 were jam packed, magical, and so much fun! We went to Cologne where we enjoyed 2 Christmas markets during the day and we even went back at night. We went to Koblenz the next day, enjoyed scenic cruising in the afternoon, and then did an optional "Dine in Rudesheim" excursion at night.
This is the definitive guide to the Rhine Getaway so please join us!
Oh my goodness…. You left us hanging. We will do this cruise this year and def want to see the rest of the trip. It looks so fun
We are SO sorry bamabunny! We had a bunch of crazy stuff happen at work - layoffs resulting in more working hours, less time for our hobbies and interests, new job with a ton more responsibilities. We create content just for fun so this had to take a backseat to paying those bills and keeping the lights on. We feel awful for leaving y’all hanging (and honestly, our video footage after these days was less good than the video footage we have already shared). We’ll get back to making videos once we get the chance…we’re just in survival mode right now. We do want you to know that you are gonna LOVE LOVE LOVE this cruise. This is our second time on this cruise and it was perfection completely. You are gonna be swept away!
@@johnandkarina Thanks so much for following up. Completely understand life. Will look forward to more on your travels in the future.
@BamaBunny8 thank you so much! And thanks for watching!
Gosh you got us excited for our first river cruise this year
So glad to hear it! You’re gonna love it! We’re already thinking about planning the next one!
Loved the video! LOL! You will not believe this, but we were on that cruise and in this video!
Hey that’s awesome! Were you the guy watching the Noles game in the lounge? If so, John remembers you!
@@johnandkarina several of us in the group went to FSU! We were at the table next to your husband. I remember the guy in the red shirt. The guy truly enjoying himself was part of our group! Wives were doing the YMCA! FWIW we all had one of the biggest laughs. We’ve had a blast watching that because we were just randomly watching travel videos, and there it was!
What a cool/funny thing to happen, to have you come over to our channel and recognize the exact cruise! That totally blew our minds 😂 that cruise had some of the most fun people…We’ve done multiple Viking cruises and that crowd was the best yet.
My wife and I went on this cruise in Dec. 2022. Great cruise and memories.
Oh gosh these memories are EVERYTHING! We hope y’all get to do another one soon. We’re looking at Romantic Danube next!
@@johnandkarina We're looking forward to next year. We'll be going to Paris and Normandy.
Loved your videos of the first four days. Are you going to post the videos for the rest of your days on your Viking Rhine trip? Love the quality of your video and audio?
Hi there, we’re so sorry! Our jobs got crazy busy after we posted the last one. We were already in the middle of sifting through the footage and working to edit the next video. We’ll try to get back on track this weekend and will respond to this comment when the next one is posted. Sorry again and thank you so much for the kind words!
Really enjoyed your videos, excellent editing and commentary. I hope you are going to share the rest of the days on your trip.
Thank you Ann! We are working on the next one now and hope to have it up within a week or so.
Great, I'm looking forward to it! My sister is going on the same cruise in April and I am so curious about it.
what time did you have to be back on the boat each day? I'm doing this cruise in November, and we are curious how much time we will have to explore the markets after our excursion for the day.
Hey! It was different each time, but most places we were docked until well after dinner time. There was plenty of time to wander on your own, which is something very important to us. We love getting lost down different streets, ducking into a cafe or bar for a little beverage and people watching. We had so much time to do everything we wanted to do. One place where we left early was Koblenz but that was so that we could do scenic cruising down the middle rhine while there was still plenty of sun to see all the views. Koblenz was a very sleepy and quiet city so leaving earlier in the day was fine for us - we saw everything we wanted to see before leaving.
