Quit apologizing my man! I recently purchased a GT350 and am still shocked. I cannot even begin to count the number of videos I have watched and this is the best one I have seen on this car, by a long shot, because of how you acted and your comments. I am a P-car guy that loves the twisties and weekend DE track days when I get the chance. I waited 45 years for the right Corvette to come out to make me order one. Had a C7 Z06 being ordered until a good friend said "U better drive the GT350 before you sign the paperwork!" I'm not a Mustang guy, love them, just never dreamed I would buy one. I'm a road course guy. One test drive and it was DONE! This car is so special and amazing. We will never see another N/A, big displacement, real shifter car like this again. Hold on to this one. It will go down in the books as one of the best! Still makes the hair on my arm stand up every time I drive it. No Porsche or Vette ever did that!!!! And who'd have thought a Mustang would be such a track beast! They nailed it. Thanks for sharing. Liked and Sub'd. Great video!!!
It's an amazing car, but I think it would be hard pressed to beat a c6 z06. Those vettes are nasty and the potential it has is wicked. 3100lbs makes a biiig difference. However all that matters is you're happy! Lol.

What exactly is Full Bolt-On in terms of the GT350? Typically for most cars, I know it's Throttle body, intake, full exhaust headers to tips. On the GT350 though, I'm currently unaware of better throttle bodies/intakes. Thanks in advance to whoever can shed some light.
The GT500 is a top speed car made for the 1/2 mile events. The GT350 is an agile corner carver. Very similar to what the cars were in 1965 as intended by CS. I own both =).

I like the intro song. Who is it? My 17 Grabber Blue GT PP did make me feel the way you felt in the intro but now I'm crying. I wanted the GT350 but the 20K mark up I just wasnt willing to do it. Great car.
Me either! I waited until all the hype was around the release of the GT500 and a lot of dealers started working with you. As soon as that initial hype dies off these will be even harder to get. Glad I got the deal I did when I did. Never see another car like this again!

pretty sure that's what every gt owner feels when they have an opportunity to drive the gt350(especially a lightly modded one)it weird to sat that "my 400 whp hp mustang gt doesn't have enough hp"...we love the gt350!

We don't have e85 fuel in the U.K , they tried it but was no Demand for it , no profit. Also the Classic Car Guys Lobbied to the Government to stop Selling it. I believe we have a 5% limit on Ethanol I heard it takes like an Acre of land to grow enough just to fill up a Car lol

I love the gt350 and its transmission but doubt I could ever get it to its redline without going to jail since my mustang is a daily. I may just supercharge mine one day or get a 14 gt500 since I cant afford another brand new car lol.
1234zcrom power delivery was just very different, if I had to compare i would say below 5k Rpms it felt very coyote like, but them pulled like a train over that! The noise is what I couldn't get over!

This is one of those cars that is more than the sum of its parts. having owned a 500whp car before. I honestly wouldn't be that impressed with the power of the gt350 but I plan on buying one anyway. Yeah the zl1 is faster and cheaper but the gt350 seems like a more complete package. Every time you start it is an event.

So 510 RWHP= at a minimum 567 SAE HP= at a minimum 630 crank/gross HP. 1972 is when U.S. cars where forced switch from the crank or gross HP rating system to the Society of American Engineers or SAE HP rating system.

Whether it has 10hp or 1000hp, if it's built that way, REV IT OUT. You have completely missed the point, and have clearly never owned an //M car. You are right, I am smart. You clearly aren't.
The magic of the GT350 is several fold, but put together , its Balance. Balance. One thing doesnt overide the other. every part works in harmony with the other. It has an amazing engine. moving the torque curve from the traditional american low rpms, to all the way up in the high rpms. making the car pull all the way to red-line, unlike regular mustangs, who's torque is all bottled up in the low revs, power dying out quickly. Fact is, you dont need but so much torque in the lowest of rpms because it just waists power spinning tires unnecessarily. Ford tuned the voodoo engine like a racecar engine. placing the power were and when its needed. again, moving away from that 'drag racing' setup. Torque matters more than HP when it come to acceleration, people are finally figuring that out due to the Tesla. Torque is the push that makes you go. Horsepower is the legs that determine your top speed. so the GT350 is best when its going fast. composed and capable when traveling slower. Its magneride dampers is key to driver confidence, but its not to say without the magneride the stock mechanical tune isnt great on its own. its everything the boss302 was and better due to the new chassis and better tune, the magneride just takes it up even higher. bottom line the Shelby GT350 is the Mustangs True form. what the marque was always intended to be. And it shows everyone that such a car doesnt have to have an astronomical price tag.
The GT350 has two tunes in terms of suspension. It has mechanical tune, ie. its dampers springs shocks bushings sway bars and alignment all dialed in specific. Take bushings for instance. bushings are created to specific density. hard to soft and rebound, providing a rate of function just like springs and shocks, They also have a duration of optimal performance. Just slapping stuff on the car like some aftermarket kit wont always work. if anything it may make things worst. You gota know what each part needs to work in harmony with every other part. that takes ALOT of time and effort if your doing it all from scratch. Real race tuning is crazy difficult to do manually, which is why their so much tech involved in setting up a track car. That Racing DNA. This is why its so important if you have something like a GT350 to find out what the specs are for your suspension. everything. Again, Ford tuned the GT350 at the nurbugring for several years with several cars to dial what people are now loving with their cars. and theirs more involved with strengthening the chassis. Ford isnt making the shocks the springs the dampers the bushings, theyre being supplied by third party vendors, you need to find out who, and get the appropriate part numbers, so that later on, years down the road when those specific parts are no longer made for that specific car, you can purchase equivalent parts when time comes to replace. if your dont over time the car will loose its balance because your replacing parts that dont match those required specifications. Trust me, ive been down that road with my Saleen. In a Car like a GT350 you will know instantly when its not driving and performing like it should. And never take auto shops word on anything, replace your tires and theyle use whatever specs come up in their database, be it a normal mustang GT, which setup is totally different.
The 350 rocks the clock, the styling of the car really is brilliant. But for me I do not like manual transmissions: simply annoying and not worth the effort, clunky, puts real wear on the drivetrain, and is in fact a slower power transfer device. Ford should get smart and configure a version of the 10-speed for the Shelby.
RootsandTendrils while I agree autos are much better than manuals these days, there's still just something special about a manual car that an auto car doesn't have. And my money is on that ford is waiting for the gt500 or whatever it's going be called to throw the new 10 speed into it
You are probably right Brother, Ford thinks they might nab the auto guys with a top of the line supercharged car, though the previous GT500 was only offered with a manual. Transmission choice does follow the temperament of the individual, younger guys with their excess of energy like to engage themselves with a manual more often. But, experience may and often does change their minds. I appreciate the ease and smoothness of autos and today's advanced versions offer excellent performance and versatility to go with the satisfaction of uninterrupted thrust. It may also be a question of the power curve of the 350 favoring manual operation, but, with the right tuning and investment I'm sure they could have done it. Perhaps they were unsure that it was worth the investment. Reality, they lost me as a potential buyer who really likes the car otherwise.
RootsandTendrils you're exactly right, I am excited to see if the next gen Shelby has the auto, in assuming it will. As much as I love a manual car, you can't deny how amazing automatics are these days, I personally would like to see the price of the gt350 drop when the gt500 comes out. That way it can be a manual only contender to fight the camaro 1le, where as the gt500 can have an auto or manual to fight the zl1. Regardless ill bet that the next car will have an auto. Will upset some purists but it's what's next
No what's disappointing is the amount of supposed gear heads that lack the basics of automobiles . Wheel horsepower is not the same as crankshaft horsepower ( the advertised horsepower).
And that is how I feel every time I drive mine.... good review... btw, I still watch reviews on this car and I own one...

It could be making more than 510. Mine dyno'd 498 with just an E85 tune.

Right now I have 2015 a performance pack premium GT. It's my 5th Mustang and I have lusted after a Shelby ever since I got into cars.
The magic of the GT350 is several fold, but put together , its Balance. Balance. One thing doesnt overide the other. every part works in harmony with the other. It has an amazing engine. moving the torque curve from the traditional american low rpms, to all the way up in the high rpms. making the car pull all the way to red-line, unlike regular mustangs, who's torque is all bottled up in the low revs, power dying out quickly. Fact is, you dont need but so much torque in the lowest of rpms because it just waists power spinning tires unnecessarily. Ford tuned the voodoo engine like a racecar engine. placing the power were and when its needed. again, moving away from that 'drag racing' setup. Torque matters more than HP when it come to acceleration, people are finally figuring that out due to the Tesla. Torque is the push that makes you go. Horsepower is the legs that determine your top speed. so the GT350 is best when its going fast. composed and capable when traveling slower. Its magneride dampers is key to driver confidence, but its not to say without the magneride the stock mechanical tune isnt great on its own. its everything the boss302 was and better due to the new chassis and better tune, the magneride just takes it up even higher. bottom line the Shelby GT350 is the Mustangs True form. what the marque was always intended to be. And it shows everyone that such a car doesnt have to have an astronomical price tag.

The GT350 has two tunes in terms of suspension. It has mechanical tune, ie. its dampers springs shocks bushings sway bars and alignment all dialed in specific. Take bushings for instance. bushings are created to specific density. hard to soft and rebound, providing a rate of function just like springs and shocks, They also have a duration of optimal performance. Just slapping stuff on the car like some aftermarket kit wont always work. if anything it may make things worst. You gota know what each part needs to work in harmony with every other part. that takes ALOT of time and effort if your doing it all from scratch. Real race tuning is crazy difficult to do manually, which is why their so much tech involved in setting up a track car. That Racing DNA. This is why its so important if you have something like a GT350 to find out what the specs are for your suspension. everything. Again, Ford tuned the GT350 at the nurbugring for several years with several cars to dial what people are now loving with their cars. and theirs more involved with strengthening the chassis. Ford isnt making the shocks the springs the dampers the bushings, theyre being supplied by third party vendors, you need to find out who, and get the appropriate part numbers, so that later on, years down the road when those specific parts are no longer made for that specific car, you can purchase equivalent parts when time comes to replace. if your dont over time the car will loose its balance because your replacing parts that dont match those required specifications. Trust me, ive been down that road with my Saleen. In a Car like a GT350 you will know instantly when its not driving and performing like it should. And never take auto shops word on anything, replace your tires and theyle use whatever specs come up in their database, be it a normal mustang GT, which setup is totally different.
His butt dyno puts it at 500 WHP. No review here folks. Move on...

The 350 rocks the clock, the styling of the car really is brilliant. But for me I do not like manual transmissions: simply annoying and not worth the effort, clunky, puts real wear on the drivetrain, and is in fact a slower power transfer device. Ford should get smart and configure a version of the 10-speed for the Shelby.
RootsandTendrils while I agree autos are much better than manuals these days, there's still just something special about a manual car that an auto car doesn't have. And my money is on that ford is waiting for the gt500 or whatever it's going be called to throw the new 10 speed into it
You are probably right Brother, Ford thinks they might nab the auto guys with a top of the line supercharged car, though the previous GT500 was only offered with a manual. Transmission choice does follow the temperament of the individual, younger guys with their excess of energy like to engage themselves with a manual more often. But, experience may and often does change their minds. I appreciate the ease and smoothness of autos and today's advanced versions offer excellent performance and versatility to go with the satisfaction of uninterrupted thrust. It may also be a question of the power curve of the 350 favoring manual operation, but, with the right tuning and investment I'm sure they could have done it. Perhaps they were unsure that it was worth the investment. Reality, they lost me as a potential buyer who really likes the car otherwise.
RootsandTendrils you're exactly right, I am excited to see if the next gen Shelby has the auto, in assuming it will. As much as I love a manual car, you can't deny how amazing automatics are these days, I personally would like to see the price of the gt350 drop when the gt500 comes out. That way it can be a manual only contender to fight the camaro 1le, where as the gt500 can have an auto or manual to fight the zl1. Regardless ill bet that the next car will have an auto. Will upset some purists but it's what's next

Jack Hammer ehh stock makes about 460 wheel, so 510 wheel from headers, intake, and e85 sounds pretty good to me

No what's disappointing is the amount of supposed gear heads that lack the basics of automobiles . Wheel horsepower is not the same as crankshaft horsepower ( the advertised horsepower).
