Enjoyed the video. Satnav around Bangkok is crazy always takes us a different way from Nakhon Sawan when travelling around it . Nice content, that car is fabulous
@@Glyn69 Thank you! :)
Great video, loved the fact you are in an old benz, I have travelled Thailand many times and also have a w123 and w124 300td and 300d respectively, so very appreciate this
Brilliant video. Loved it. I’ve just bought a 1981 280e and I can’t wait for trips like this across Ireland.
Ireland is surely great for these kind of road trips! :)
Such a great glimpse of Thailand through the wheels of a brilliant car.
Thank you for another great video. Makes you want to go visit Thailand. The Mercedes is just beautiful, a real star!
I dont get why the algorythm doesnt support this
Welcome back! I followed you since you bought this Mercedes. Very enjoy watching this video of you travel and tell the story along the way. Hope I will drive around Thiailand like this one day. I used to have w123 300D and my car some time broke, but the good thing driving an old MB in Thailand is there are a lot of garages that can fixed it along the way. Of course not for a new hi tech vehical nowaday.
That's true. Even in Thailand it's quite easy to repair and find spare parts for a W123. And I think it will drive forever when modern cars are already broken ;)
Great video, lovely trip and wow the food looks fantastic
I also don't like those ads when watching RUclips... ;)
Wonderful video and commentary.
Ah, I saw it for sale some month ago - think it is sold now. I drive a 230 W123 daily to work through Bangkok, I much prefer it over modern cars. I am looking for a 300 TD though to save on fuel consumption. Thanks for sharing your road trip!
My 280 TE is sold already, but it stayed in Phuket with a new owner. Have fun with your 230 :)
Driving around the Thailand like to me.
This Mercedes 280 TE is now for sale. Please contact me, if you are interested.
my goodness you should keep it
Love that Benz and those Trips. Don´t sell it :(
Good trip look fun
7:06 wash your windscreen with very soapy water and see if it helps rain water slide off more quickly
wow! great w123T! Is it in the original paint?
It looks like English Red, but it was repainted at some time and I think it's a bit more orange than the original.
i thought only diesels are capable of this
Is getting an older car worth it say like this kind of Merc which might be like 23 yrs old as opposed to an 8 yr old car? I am looking at a 92 Corolla
Hi Mike congratulations for your video and for your trip. It's very sad for me to know that you want to sell your car, especial
ly after she shown to be so reliable after two years of rest
Thanks! Yeah... probably I should keep her :)
W123 estate is rare in Thailand. the price is same level to coupe model.
Same in Europe. Price of the estate model is here even above the coupé...
@@CubeofCars here in Thailand we can not import used car anymore due to new law. It is sad story for who love classic car in Thailand. The price is rising. now young people more interest in classic car but the amount of supply can not increase.
Yes, this situation is very sad. This makes it so complicate to find a nice classic car in Thailand and unnecessary expensive...
You didn't say you would sell, I miss your car so much, I found a post saying it's for sale.😭
It's not sold yet, but if someone makes an adequate offer, I might consider it... Interested to buy? :)
@@CubeofCars of course sir
You can contact us by email any time to discuss details :)
@@CubeofCars I've sent you email.
Even though I am Thai, I still think that without road like US's interstate system or the autobahn, long road trip like this is still very tough and dangerous for me. Delinquent bikers, wrong-way drivers, or bad road condition, for examples.
Autobahn is good, if you want to be fast from A to B, but it's not nice to drive on a road trip when you want to enjoy the landscape along the road. Yes, Thai roads are more dangerous, but it's still ok, if you are not in a hurry and have a relaxed style of driving. For a road trip with an old car, that's great :)
@@CubeofCars I see. Sometimes, slow and relax are also nice.
