Chris and Marianne are the reason we started a RUclips channel, and a motorhome and you Paddy are the reason we love Thailand and drove a tuk tuk through Sri Lanka last year..... Thank you to all of you great adventures
what an inspiration you guys are..thank you!..found paddy's videos over two years ago..since then because of this, i have visited thailand 3 times north/south /east/west...and am back in thailand in november 2024 to do some more travelling,, and im 68 years old!!! and have found a new energy....thanks guys looking forward to your adventures
Awesome to see you three vlogging together! I think everyone will agree when I say this? You guys are very much alike in chasing your dreams and you are all a very good match for collaborating 🙏🏻❤️
Van life looks fun! Great to see you on the road again in Thailand, Paddy! Btw, Prae is pronounced 'prayer' (not 'pray') and is famous for it's teak mansions from the 19th C. teak logging days.
I'm here for some bonus Chris & Marianne footage!! 😁😁 We've been watching them four years now & love them dearly. Wishing you a safe pedal south, and enough challenges to make an adventure but not enough for any hardship. 😎👍
Thanks so much for your kind words. We had a great time visiting with you, Chris, and Marianne. I am sure the wine helped. We look forward to seeing you again soon.
Paddy you have changed the way I have looked at Thailand all these years. Despite of my 5 visits to that country, I think I could even explore 5% of that. Watching all your videos in a row. Cheers mate !
How amazing my two favourite travel vloggers together in my favourite country of Thailand. Love both your RUclips channels so will be watching your adventures 👍
What do you call three Brits in a camper van in Thailand without aircon? The Great British Bake Off! I have subscribed to Chris and Marianne’s channel for a while now. Their ability to handle whatever is thrown at them with humor, patience and class is quite inspiring. Seeing the three of you together was a treat. Cheers!
Absolutely loved this tonight x you met our wonderful friends Marianne and Chris x we were supposed to be meeting up with them in a few weeks but due to there plans changing it’s now not possible. Coming in 13 days and first time to Thailand and so excited. Watched loads of your post for inspiration paddy 👍
Really love seeing you back in Thailand. As always it is great to watch your video! I just feel like it might have been even cooler if you documented also staying in the van and not in hotels. Maybe it would be a cool idea to see real camping-vanlife in Thailand in another video or series :)
Nice to follow Trudy. For Patty, Mae Sai near Myanmar Tachilek border crossing is the northest city in Thailand. 1 hour North of Chiangrai.😅 I sure Patty knows that. Following Patty journey on his little Honda Dream was the best.
Hey Paddy. Not a comment about this video. Just wanted to let you know that one of your Newcastle Boys, Marty Longstaff came in for my Toronto FC today. He got a great welcome from the FC fans. He should be a good one for us this year.
Wow we’ve been watching Trudys journey across Asia. We get to Thailand tomorrow. Mental to watch you and Trudy together. Should be renamed Dreamy Trudy!
Hiya Paddy. Marianne and Chris are a great couple. Lovely place to stay, shame, about the burning season. That fur baby was gorgeous. Another gorgeous place to stay. I have subbed to Marianne and Chris. Your steak looked tasty. Great couple. Great video. *Congratulations. 230K. Subscribers.*
Hi Paddy! Hello from Montreal! I’m planning to visit Thaïland for 3 weeks in May of this yeah and I’m wondering if it’s still true that we don’t have to reserve island hôtel in advance??? I only booked our first 2 nights in Bangkok and my last night.
@PaddyDoyle, thanks for the great videos. Can you tell me what the name of the resort that you first stopped at next to the lake, with the big black dog, and dome tents. Thanks
You often say --- that you are not religious, Well, most younger generations in Western civilizations are not religious in the traditional sense ... with a god in the sky with a big white beard, and so on. But most of us who are not conventionally religious, still identify as "spiritual." Time and again, Paddy --- when you are surrounded by stunning nature --- you exult with the awe of the living creation around you. This is characteristic of "nature mysticism." Consider the possibility that you live as a nature spiritualist. I have enjoyed all your three years of content --- especially your masterful and abundant DRONE PHOTOGRAPHY! Your ration of drone shots --- compared to regular street-level content --- must be among the highest on You tube. Peace and love from the Earthpeople of Hawaii
Saw you on an Episode of "Trudy" and cool, keep having fun, bicycling now, instead of your 125c. We just lost our Sugar Mill here in the RGV part of Texas, after many years of having ash rain down from the burning of the fields, drought and Mexico not honoring a water commitment contributed to the issues involved. So, no more Sugar Cane smoke here.
You don't pump your own fuel in Thailand. Yes, the colors change between stations but just ask for "dee-sen". That's the Thai pronunciation of "diesel".
Just the other day i was watching another vlogger who I have never watched before, he was traveling around the Canary Islands by van, I thought of you and wished you would visit the Canaries. Maybe one day Paddy. Good luck with the cycling, nice toned legs at the end of it all.
Great start, Paddy. I have escaped the smog of our beloved CM and I am enjoying life here at the beach, just south of PKK, but I will also enjoy your mad slog on a bike heading in this direction. Good luck, mate. :)
Really love your journey and vdo,,,would you please tell me what is the name of the place you are over night in uthaithanee Thanks,,,and have a good journey
i"ve been following some of their journey. I tried Vanlife in the UK. Whilst fun for a while, no way I would attempt what Chris and Marianne have done. I didn't even feel comfortable leaving the van unattended in the UK's streets, so i always paid to stay on sites. And as for the heat of places like Malaysia and Thailand, sleeping in the van isn't really an option.
very well done and yeah i knew them picking you up midday in bkk would be a traffic nightmare to get out .... but that's part of the adventure i love their optimism and yes i have that view too maybe i wont make it to retirement im traveling but still working as i dont have a home to rent out i still need a income of sorts and my channel is no where near able to support me .... yet . but they got +1 subs from me today from Paddy recommended well done
Watching Tread tonight they introduced a hitchhiker Paddy. Went to Paddy's channel for the remainder of that adventure. Brilliant absolutely brilliant on so many levels. I noticed recently that the Hollywood director's are trying to emulate tubers. That's so funny cos YouT have taken over LOL
Paddy, you should do your next level adventure in China after this one. I always want one of my favorite traveler to explore China. The country is so big and I don't see much video exploring. You will definitely make great vlogs there and gain more different group of subscribers :)
That's why Thailand is exciting because you can't plan anything. 😂Stop halfway through and then continue. Just be positive, be calm, be happy like how they are.
You can make it happen if you want. Just set a goal and work at it. I traveled for a month when I was 21 and paid for it with money saved up and credit cards.
Interesting to see the difference in education and respect as Paddy refers to home as UK which is correct, whereas the other guy only mentions England. They are all British and they are all from the UK and their home is the UK.
Thanks for watching
Subscribe to @TREADtheglobe and follow their adventures!
Already do...
I wish they went in depth about vanlife in thailand as I know there will be legal hurdles.
Chris and Marianne are the reason we started a RUclips channel, and a motorhome and you Paddy are the reason we love Thailand and drove a tuk tuk through Sri Lanka last year..... Thank you to all of you great adventures

Wow, I love this! I'm looking forward to your new adventure, and I've now subscribed to Chris and Marianne's channel, so inspiring.
Good to see two of my subscriptions in one video. I think December/January are the best months to visit Thailand. Cooler weather and less smoke
I follow Tread the Globe. They are a fantastic couple. Good Luck, Safe Travel on your Challenge. From Scotland 🏴

Welcome to Thailand.May you have safe travels throughout Thip and have a happy trip.😊
Where is the first place you stayed, the one with the dome tents overlooking the lake?
Been following Chris and Marianne since they were backpacking through central America.
Hey Paddy. Not a comment about this video. Just wanted to let you know that one of your Newcastle Boys, Marty Longstaff came in for my Toronto FC today. He got a great welcome from the FC fans. He should be a good one for us this year.
Simply amazing. Out of this journey..enjoy the gift of nature..

The PM2.5 Smoke / Air pollution in Thailand is just straight up crazy for the past several years now.
ยินดีต้อนรับสู่ประเทศไทย
The air quality is very bad now in the north. So, hope you already checked it out as you were living there before
ครั้งก่อนกับมอไซ
ตอนนี้กับรถยนต์น่าจะสะดวกกว่านะ
Maybe-just maybe, you will think of leaving BKK at the right time of day. 3 AM
You don't pump your own fuel in Thailand. Yes, the colors change between stations but just ask for "dee-sen". That's the Thai pronunciation of "diesel".
Steak and red wine in Thailand. Good for you Paddy!!
Absolutely loved this video… thank you so much!!!!
Hi Paddy I’ll be in Udon from the US later this month. Would you mind sharing with me the location of this rental for the dome and cabin please?
You are all inspiration. I'm trying to get life balance
Just the other day i was watching another vlogger who I have never watched before, he was traveling around the Canary Islands by van, I thought of you and wished you would visit the Canaries. Maybe one day Paddy. Good luck with the cycling, nice toned legs at the end of it all.

Great video as always. ❤
Oeehhhhhh Park24! Peng mak mak!
Today I saw on the internet Chiang Mai has been declared the smokiest city in the world, a lot of my friends who live there are going south.
Maybe it's another challenge for you to do.
Drive around Thailand in a van
Paddy you are going to be riding your bike in a smokey hellscape bro.
Great collab!
what is the lake?
Please take them to fix their aircon. Driving in Thailand heat is the worst things.
They are amazing
