@ItaliaAutos I usually just give it a wipe over with some quick detail spray and that usually does the trick. If they're persistent then an old trick is to use watered down acidic wheel cleaner. Just wipe on and then wipe off with a wet microfiber. It won't affect the ceramic.

The only thing I don’t like on this model of Discovery is the offset positioning of the rear number plate. It is a parody of the design of the early Discoveries, where there was a reason for the offset positioning. There is no such reason on this car.
So it doesnt look like the lesser discovery sport is a big reason lol
Glad you have found your ideal car. I cant get used to the rear plate being offcentre but it isbyour car and you enjoy it. Will hope to get a Guilia when I retire
Plates are off centre at the front of most alfas so I don't have an issue with it. Thanks for watching.

Good thing about buying from Landrover presumably still is if goes wrong get a pretty nice loan car. If you didn’t buy from them it’s a Corsa or something.

It's a petrol only. Got 34mpg towing in the disco wouldn't get that in a Volvo not matter how good the hybrid system is
916 GTV cerb weight is 1420kg so your trailer would weight 1280kg if it is 2700kg total..That must be one heavy trailer. Max weight means with passengers and luggage car can carry.

Even the X5 couldn't tow the M5 because it's one heavy beast. Also the xc70 gle and every other car in it's class if I'm correct. Thanks for watching 👍😀
Nice car Neil i just hope your insurance aint to high as ive heard land rover are expensive due to theft so saying that i hope you get an aftermarket immobiliser fitted like a ghost
Was more than the Porsche but not that much more. Cars made after 22 don't suffer the theft issue.

People say the same about Alfa Romeo and jeep.
@@ItaliaAutos data shows Alfa's are more reliable now than the older models...Jeeps are garbage.....and Land Rovers and VW have consistently been unreliable according to all data out there
Not now, Land Rovers arent or Jags could say the same about alfas too.

im disappointed Neil,,,i thought you had taste,,,,i used to work for the AA and those things broke down on a daily basis with less than 100 miles on the clock, they are owned by the indians and built the same way they build shanty towns in india, id rather a toy car , but better still an Alfa
If you weren't happy with the reliability of the quad, you're in for a real shock with JLR, absolute pieces of crap.
4200 miles in and I love it. Zero faults.
@ItaliaAutos my dad had a Velar & then a discovery sport, both from brand new. The minute it hits the 3 years & out of warranty stuff will go wrong. Cost him thousands between mechanical stuff, shoddy quality paintwork, trim & alloys. He had a 2nd set of alloys under warranty & when he got rid they were also started to corrode heavily despite only being washed by me using gentle alkaline wheel cleaners.
I was keen on a XFR or XJR but his experience has put me off entirely & he isn't the only one. My uncle had an F-Pace S & he got rid of that after a 18 months due to continuous oil leaks & faults the dealer couldn't find/repair.
Ended up with a Stinger GTS & for the 3 years I've had it been faultless. Now going for a Quadrifoglio to scratch the itch that's always been there.
@BrianW1612 don't worry I'll be either swapping it at 3 years or extending the warranty.
