Thank you Detect-Ed! By the way, Scott, I believe the Detect Ed lower shaft, has a hole at the very bottom of the shaft that you can feed the antenna up through.

It has a hole but when you put the bolt through to mount the coil then it blocks the hole

Hey Scott
Started watching you when i was learning my Nox800 which is equipped with DETECT-ED rod & arm cuff. Now I've upgraded to the Deus2 id like to do get the wobble out of that shaft. THANK YOU DETECT-ED for putting out such great products.

If your new Deus II says CF on the lower shaft, its carbon fiber enforced. Mine came that way on 2 different coils. Look for the CF stamped on it.

The legend/simplex modded one is the right length, but the Detect-ED one fits perfectly into the middle shaft (just wish it was 2.5 inches longer like the modded one). The lower shaft that came with the machine was definitely sub par for a high end detector!
