I ordered the same shaft kit with the counter weight on Friday …I got the 11 inch coil a while back and it’s pretty nose heavy …can’t wait to get it in and give it a whirl…I know my shoulder will appreciate it..😎👍
FYI Steve was very helpful and responsive to all my questions..if anyone is thinking about one and has questions…definitely reach out to him…
he is a man who loves what he does and it really shows in every aspect of his shafts........your shoulder will be pleased....PS - let me know your opinion on the counter weight.....i am old guy, maybe it could help.......so far shoulders ok
One thing I really like about the factory lower shaft is that it has that flat spot that runs down so the coil is always squared up correctly.
i agree 100%
Nice setup thanks for sharing!!!!
Very nice looking unit !
Tough and Light, Spin All Day 👍
The golden question. How much does it weight with the 11in coil, not remote on it?
Very nice!
Dang that looks like it has a coat of turtle wax on it. Looking forward in seeing how it works out for you. Is that the shaft that you can get a counterweight for? If so, that would make swinging the 11 inch a little better.
Yes it is 👍
Will it still fit in the Deus backpack?
Max get yourself a dans lanyard for the deus 2. This shaft and the Dans lanyard for the deus 2 were made at the suggestion made onTreasure Talk Show
what is that.......Lanyard.........what would i do with it........purpose?...........this is not a CTX 3030........please enlighten me.
Hi sir. New sub here. I just watched one of your old videos where you had a problem with an Excalibur 2 making a chatty noise when you turned it on. I’m having the same problem with my excal right now and wanted to know if you could figure out what it was. Thanks in advance!
Had many over the years..........sounds like hole in the coil..........does it work ok on damp zone and act up when submerged?......................more than likely the off and on switch is bad or the volume switch............off and on is used more so it fails faster.............i wish i still had mine now.........it is the best beach machine around, some newer ones may go a bit deeper, but day in and day out.........it is a fine gold finer.........minelab repair in PA is very fast these days
