I have and love my 13 mini. Mainly cause I don't want a stupid large phone in my pocket. I also refuse to make payments on a phone. Have a hard limit on what I think they should cost. I held out with an iPhone 8 forever.
@ years ago i always had a big (android) phone, but having snapt a lot or a lot of broken screens. I bought a 12 mini and i love it battery is still over well 90% after almost two years. Sad to see they dumpt the mini series.

Loads of my friends were exactly the same as you. They have mostly swapped over from SE2020 to 13 mini in last few months as they got sick of waiting for a small iPhone and 12 mini came too soon after the SE2020. It also helped the my saw how awesome mine was when I went 13 Pro Max down to 13 mini 😂
Just switched to the iPhone 13 mini from the lg v60 I was tired of dealing with a huge phone. This is the exact phone I wanted when we started go edge to edge with screens.

Ive been daily driving a 13 mini for the last several months, I can honestly say its been one of my favorite phones for its compact size. It does everything I need, has a great camera set and the battery lasts long enough to get me through a full day easily.
I’ve had the 13 mini for a year now and it’s superb. For a person who doesn’t really scroll social media and uses a phone for the basics, it’s an amazing phone. Paired with a magsafe battery pack for those long days on teams meetings it’s a match made in heaven. I loved it so much, I bought one for my wife. Not to mention the amazing camera for the price.
@@AquilaTheHun no overheating for me. But I am always pretty much in an AC controlled room. As a matter of fact, I’m about to take this same setup on a 14 hour trip across the US. And I’ll have juice (audible) the entire time.
I've been using the 12 Mini as my 2nd phone for a while now and it's awesome for what it is. It's compact, powerful and has a pretty nice camera. The battery is kinda on the low side, but the magsafe powerbank helps.

Shortly after the 13 came out, I got a 13 mini and I love it. It meets all my phone needs in a small form factor. I hope Apple brings back the mini, at least as a future SE model.
Bought a refurbished 13 mini a few weeks ago to replace my Z flip 3 because the screen is cracking. I enjoy how small the mini is, and the battery life was actually a significant improvement. I used to have to charge my flip to full halfway through the day but now I end the day with 20 or 30 percent battery. I plan on switching back whenever flip tech gets significantly more reliable, but for now the iPhone is pretty good. I do miss android auto and Google assistant though.
I tend to change phones quite a lot, I always want to try the latest and high end models but I came across the iPhone 13 mini by chance and this is the first phone that I don’t want to change. Absolute perfect form factor.
same, I bought this phone on launch and still use it, and before the 13 mini, I had never held onto a phone for more than one year; I'm going on year 2 of keeping the 13 mini this year 💯
As an avid 12 mini user that I have used for a year and a half it is the 2nd best phone I have used (best being the S9+ but that was a whole different experience). I love the small form factor and how pocketable it is, although I 100% understand the battery situation. I wish they’d bring the mini back, some of the best phones apple have made.
I switched over to Apple for the 13 mini, since there wasn’t a small flagship android anymore. I freaking love the 13 mini. Best phone I’ve ever owned!
I swap between a 13 Pro Max and 13 mini but I managed to convert nearly all my friends who aren’t power users over to 13 minis 😂 There are a lot of people I know swapping from older iPhones to the 13 mini in last 6 months and it’s not due to cost but lifestyle and wanting iOS and used it since the OG iPhones so they really wanted iPhone 5 size but had to move onto iPhone 6 sizes.
Wife's SE died today. Took her to the Apple store, went through every model with her and a salesman, and she went the 13 mini. Fantastic little phone, and I'm baffled by Apple's decision to drop it.
In 2020 when the 12 mini came out I switched over to it from a LG G7 which had about the same dimensions of the regular 12. Almost 3 years later I’m still using the 12 mini as my daily. Sure I’ve to charge it more often than my G7 back when that was still new but it help me limit my use overall and having the constant updates meant the phone rarely (if ever) lagged. It a real shame the new meta is for bigger phones with better battery life with maximum performance when all I really need is something like the 12 mini that I can one hand and be smooth enough to get back daily. I’ll probably upgrade to 13 mini later this year if it still can be bought brand new.
I can't justify getting a new phone right now, but I hope that when I do, there will be some good compact options. I really enjoy the small folded size of my flip 4, but I miss being able to use a phone that I can use fully one-handed while walking.
When you can justify getting a new phone the pixel A series are a good option to watch out for I like my 6a and the pixel 7A seems to be way better with 90hz and wireless charging seems great going to trade my 6a for 7a when it comes out
I’m still running the 12 mini since it was launched. With the exception of it’s battery which needs replacement now, it’s great. The size is a remnant of a time long past where you could reasonably keep your phone in your pocket! Even if it didn’t sell well, most who bought this phone did so intentionally and for a certain purpose, so I’m sure most people who bought this love it!
I’ve had a 13 mini since it first launched. It’s definitely my favorite iPhone yet and idk when I’ll ever upgrade. None of the new iPhones and rumors for the 15 sound interesting to me, and mini is just the right size for my hands. It fits my needs perfectly well, and I hope it’ll continue to work well for years to come.
I loved my 12 mini. I broke mine and upgraded to a 14 pro. While it’s cool that I can see videos on a bigger screen, the texting experience is so much worse and I can just watch those videos on a laptop/tv/iPad. I now have to use a pop socket and push the keyboard to the left/right side, and have trouble reaching control center without pulling the screen down first by using a gesture or using 2 hands. If they ever bring back a mini for iphone 17 or something I would definitely buy it even if there was a pro offering
I bought my iPhone 13 mini about a year ago and I have enjoyed using it. The only complaint I have is that the screen is not bright enough on sunny days. Great iPhone!!!
I love my 13 mini. However when I got it thru Verizon it was on a 3 year contract, I still got plenty of time left for them to bring back the net mini.
Used a 12 mini since release. Love it. I like having a smaller phone in my pocket since I mostly listen to Spotify and podcast throughout my work day it’s worked fine. My girlfriend has a regular 12 and it seems to die just as fast if not quicker. I’m not a big fan of how absurdly massive phones have gotten.
I definitely agree with Austin on this one, the 13 mini is absolutely the "correct" sized phone for most people. It is lightweight, easy to carry, more powerful than most people need, has great cameras, and a decent enough battery to last the day. I have been using this guy since launch and have no regrets!
Just upgraded from the XS to a Product Red 13 Mini. I knew I was swapping my XS this year, as it’s about to lose the latest iOS, but its battery health (or lack of it) hastened the upgrade. Using a bumper and MagSafe grip - not a fan of full cases - and have already got myself quite a few MagSafe accessories. These include a portable charging stand that I can use on the go, and to trigger Standby Mode when I’m home. Thanks for the content!
The iPhone 14 Plus is having the same issue as the 13 Mini - it isn't selling. They drastically cut the price at phone retailers - and it still wasn't enough. At one point, in my store, the base 128 GB 14 Plus was $5 /mo. The Plus won't move the numbers that they want, and the Mini can come back after that.
14 Plus is so much cheaper than a 14 Pro Max. I don’t know what Austin is talking about here. Even at Apple’s MSRP the 14 Pro Max is $200 more than a 14 Plus. And because the plus model hasn’t been selling well, its a good amount cheaper than a brand new 13 Pro Max as well. I switched from the 13 Pro Max to a 14 Plus and I absolutely love it. I don’t have to baby my phone anymore, and the battery life is phenomenal.
@@Ahmed90401 I don't disagree with you on it being a good phone. It's just not a great replacement for the Mini. The delay and the FCC Filing really hurt it's potential for not releasing alongside the other phones.
I have a 13 pro for my personal phone and a 12 mini for my work phone. I love the mini’s form factor. If like Austin said, the cameras were better I’d have 2 minis lol
It's curious that everyone start to appreciate the mini size a little to late, including me, I'm not an iPhone guy but I got the 13 mini because when I touch it on a store I fell in love with the size, and I'm gonna use it for at long as I can.
Yes, pro iPhone mini is what the world needs. It doesn’t need to have dynamic island, just give it the same chip and camera setup as the pro model of the same year, is it too much to ask?
I recently was using an iPhone 12 that I got the year it came out. The mobile carrier I was switching to had a deal to get an iPhone 12 mini with no monthly cost to me. I originally considered the mini back when it came out but convinced myself I was better off with the normal iPhone 12. I took this opportunity to get the 12 mini. I gave my mom my old 12 to try out apple for the first time. Since then, I wish I had gotten the 12 mini to begin with because it really is just the perfect size to use and I may end up going to an SE in the future if they use the mini as the new size and shape for it
Didn’t the Plus model tank this year? Like worse than the Mini? Because I at least saw people with Minis back when they sold them. I’ve never seen a 14 Plus outside of a store kiosk
100% agree w/ Matt - I would love a mini with the pro camera suite. I live in a beautiful area & love using a telephoto to take pictures of wildlife, the mountain & my cats & as long as apple refuses to put a telephoto on non-pro, I’m gonna have to keep going pro.
This video seriously resonated with me, and echoes the sentiments I have been touting about small phones for a long time. I like new tech, and every year I'd try new phones up until we got to the iPhone X. When that came out, I actually bought the iPhone 8 because it felt better in the hand, downsizing from the 7 Plus and it was a breath of fresh air. Curiosity got the better of me and eventually I had an iPhone X and while I liked the screen and battery and all that, I found myself a bit annoyed by its size. After that, iPhones got boring and I held onto my X until the 12's. Enter 5G - when the 12 mini was announced, I had to have it. My family, friends, everyone would always remark "how is your phone so small" or something to that effect but honestly, I loved that phone. 6 months ago I switched over to the 14 Pro Max because curiosity got the better of me. The cameras, the screen, and the speakers are awesome, but damn is it heavy and cumbersome to use. I kept my 12 mini around as an iPod and to use for things like our baby monitor, working out, etc. and every time I picked my mini up, I would lust for how nice it felt. I considered changing the battery on it but after reading all the positive reviews on the 13 mini battery improvements, I made the switch back "down" from my 14 Pro Max to the 13 mini and honestly, it's so nice having a good feeling phone again. The size is, like you said, honestly perfection. The iPhone 5 in slate gray was my favorite phone of all time as well, and nobody does it better. I tried to jump into the Z-Flip but those phones just felt cheap by comparison to me. The battery life is, indeed, an adjustment, after having a 2 day phone but given I'm always at home, in the car, or at a desk at least once a day, charging is not a problem. I just hope it holds up better than my 12 mini battery did which was at 85% longevity after 20 months.
bough it exactly 2 years ago brand new 70€ cheaper than the Apple store pricetag, at 739€. note that it was 1st anniversary of the phone realase. From a 2020 iPhone SE to This was my ultimate small smartphone buy and the quality is astonashing. No screen protector but a leather case, lots of drops and the phone is like new when i changed the case, took a plastic clear from apple but now i'm using it caseless. I'm just disapointed about photography when i you have owned a Nokia pureview 808 which was smaller but thicker with 41M pixel revolution camera back in 2012. I still using it when i want to do photography alongside my Iphone 13 mini that is brillant for versatile use and some dark overall pictures. Hail to the 13 mini that i will keep more years to come !
I was always a small phone lover. The iphone 7 have a good size. I got the mini, wich I sold for money and went into android. I´m currently with a S20 plus, wich is really big, to see if I adapt to it. ?I like the screen for watch, read and type, but it´s unconfortably in your pocket and one hand use. I´m still not convinced and from times to times I think in the mini again. Maybe a good tablet for content and a mini for phone using may be the perfect combination.
Pre ordered a 13 mini in green when they announced the “mid line color refresh”, came from a 12 mini and I won’t get rid of it until it’s no longer supported and dies. Apple made a mistake discontinuing the mini line.
I've only used the iPhone SE versions since debut for the size and price. I really love my SE's. I hope they keep doing it cause I will just upgrade to those versions.
I daily drive 14 plus, and only reason I did was for work. I’m on my phone all day and not having to worry about charging it for about 2 days of excessive use makes my work so much easier!
I have a launch day 12 mini and yes, after two years my battery was barely tolerable. I had to charge it midday every day. Got a new battery, and when this thing dies again in two years I’ll be getting a 13 mini new if they are still around or renewed. I’m not letting this go, I don’t want to deal with big phones ever again.
Late to the party, but been using a Mini 12 since it dropped and will upgrade to 13 mini when the time is right. With this said, Mini is a phenomenal phone for my needs. I been using iPhones since 4 and had 6+, too. I’ll ride the mini for as long as possible.
Still use my iphone 12 mini, I'll use it until it loses support or the battery gets too bad, and then I'll buy a 13 mini until that stops getting updates. Hopefully by then there will be another small phone.
Worth noting that what made me ignore the battery life complaints people had in the first place is the existence of magsafe battery packs, and at this stage there are thin lipoly batteries that really make up the difference between the other phones, I can get multiple days of battery with it.
I was tempted as for me it is more the weight of the 13 Pro Max I have then then size. I use a 13 mini too and honestly couldn’t care about the 120hz as iOS touch response is great. Cameras are still great for most situations too bar zoom. If apple could basically make the Pixel 7 Pro but flat screen and better chip it would be my modern perfect phone.
14 Plus is a gem of a phone. $200 might not be significant for Austin, but its sure as hell a lot to most people. And besides, most retailers have steep discounts on the 14 Plus, which means the price gap between a 14 Plus and 14 Pro Max is a lot more than $200 because of it.
I’m almost certain the 4th gen SE will reuse the 13 Mini chassis. The original SE was created to bring back the smaller form factor and reuse the 5s chassis, but slowly morphed into just being the budget iPhone instead. This will allow Apple to achieve both visions.
I got my iPhone 13 mini this past summer when the 14 was coming out. My previous phone was an iPhone 8, so I was trying to decide between a 14, SE, or 13 mini. Even though I didn’t really wanna change away from the classic iPhone body and home button, I figured it would be time to move on to what is the norm now. However I wanted to still have a phone that is comparable in size. This is smaller than the 8 but with a bigger screen, so that’s why I chose it. This is by far my favorite phone I’ve used between the iPhone 8, 7, and 5
There are times when I realize I will never use a product and the mini is the epitome of that. I have Slenderman hands and for the longest time I bought Note phones because they fit my hand perfectly. Hopefully they bring it back so that people with Austin size hands can enjoy what I do with a Note size phone.
I run dual minis. With a MagSafe wallet on the back. It fits perfectly in my pocket. I get to go through the battery of one and I have another one to back it up. I process a video on one and research stuff on the other. Best choice I ever made
i just recently went from the X to the 14 pro.. and holy heck upgrading after 5 years is totally the move. It was an actual upgrade, and the only reason i did was for the camera for my artwork
iPhone 14 Plus user here and I absolutely love it. I don’t much care for a 120 hz display or the telephoto camera. My biggest concern with smartphones is battery life, and the plus delivers in a massive way. I switched from the 13 Pro Max to the 14 Plus because it’s lighter and has slight upgrades over the 13 that make it worth it for me. Also, the price difference between a 14 Plus and 14 Pro Max is quite significant. Especially when you consider that plus models are being sold at discounted prices at the moment.
Not to mention that I have to worry a lot less about the 14 plus than I had to with the 13 pro max. I don’t have a screen protector on it, and I only put a case on it when I’m leaving home because I use a MagSafe wallet with all my cards in it. In my opinion, the plus was the best iPhone they’ve made in a long while. And that the 13 mini wouldn’t work for me as my only media device.
I actually have large hands, but I LOVE my iPhone 13 Mini. I can comfortably palm it and gesture on the screen all with one hand. I had the iPhone SE for a few years, then moved to a larger Android phone. I was so happy when the 13 mini came out. I bought the green one when they were introduced(love the color green).
I bought the Samsung a71 5g back in 2020 for a back up phone as I work on CNC machines. I still use it today and what few features it's missing makes up for the fact it was under $370 bucks on contract with tmobile. Absolutely decent buy. Granted it was half off at the time but it has every bit of an s20 in a much cheaper form factor. Oh and it includes a headphone jack. Something that's keeping me from upgrading this one. I hate not having that jack.
Also, I think Apple knew that the mini was good but they don’t want to keep making smaller phones they wanna keep making bigger phones. I think they know the world likes the miniform factor.
I purchased 12 mini half a year ago with 86% battery life, still on the same battery life today. Having no issues with how long the phone lasts, easily gets me through the work day. I’ve never being satisfied with the phone so much. And it is so cheap.
I really liked this video. It assured me that me making the choices in what I like is only important to me, not other people. Get what you like people. Don't get something that works for what you want, not what others want.
i've had a 3gs, a 5, a 6s, an SE2, and now i switched to 14. i wanted a 13mini but then i saw that it was only 50 bucks less than the 14 on (italian) amazon and i got tempted, not by the video stabilizer, not by the brighter screen, not by the 6gb of ram, not by the margianlly better camera, but by two and two things only: bigger screen and better battery life. i was kinda used to bring power banks with me and i love not having to bring those anymore. plus i watch video a lot, i use the phone for navigation while driving (i got a 2009 bmw... no apple carplay as you guessed) so i'm digging the big screen. i gotta say though... i have small hands and i miss the small size of the SE. in fact i am using the 14 without cover to make it feel smaller and i'm always looking for a slim cover to buy. i've had the 6s for 5 years and the SE for almost 3 so i'm so used to those ergonomics that sometimes i think i should've bought a 13 mini and a slim magsafe power bank. idk
I currently have a OnePlus 8T. Every single time I use my wife's pixel 5 for literally anything I always say how amazing it is to have a phone small enough that I can reach all points of the screen easily. I have larger than average hands too and still prefer a much smaller phone.
I know lots of people who immediately popped on the 12 mini when it came out, I’m sure if a 15 mini came out they would pop again, the biggest market for the mini phones are regular folks who just want a solid phone, and do not buy them every year, so the 3-4 year gap means time to upgrade.
Ngl I saw some people on RUclips saying it doesn’t matter much unless you are comparing side by side and j always scoffed but when I switched, it did bother me for sometime but after like 4-5 days, I stopped noticing and just enjoyed the phone as it was
I just got mine in midnight 512GB on eBay for 560$ tax included. Even with 86% battery health, this phone is great in every aspect. The battery life is okay, but with MagSafe battery pack, there is no worries getting it through the day!!! This is a great phone over those big chunky phones out there. I saw some posts today, they sell it for 380$ brand new in box for 128GB and 440$ for 256GB. Too bad they don’t have 512GB.
I totally agree. To be able to use a phone as a phone and not a tablet is everything. I mean I already have an iPad for the big screen, videos and gaming.
I just paid £269 for an 'as new' 12 mini 64gb in black. I've no idea what the battery will be like, but I'm stepping up from a 5S, so it's going to be incredible.
Back in October, I bought Pixel 7. Switching to android after being an iPhone user for 10 years. The battery would last a partial day (9 AM to 9PM). In December, I switched back to the iPhone and bought 13 Mini. Funny enough the battery lasts longer than the Pixel, and I love the size of this thing in my hand. It's just comfortable and easy to use
I've been wanting to swap to smaller phone since I saw the iPhone 12 mini release. Chickened out and bought the 13 when my at the time contract had ended. Is it worth it to jump from a 13 to a 13 mini though?
I have had both the iPhone 12 mini and the 13 mini. The 13 mini battery, was leagues ahead of the 12 mini’s. I always had a battery case on my 12 mini but didn’t need one for the 13 mini. I’ve just ordered another 13 mini today, as I fancied a break from the size and weight of my iPhone 14 pro max with MagSafe wallet attached and case.
A new mini that is made of materials that mean a case is not needed. 6S to mini 12. I love the way it feels without a case. You should only need a case if it’s used in a situation where it might be dropped frequently or on exceptionally hard surfaces. That’s what I want. Ridiculous to spend so much effort on design only to make something that has to be covered up. As well, given that it is usually just the glass that breaks, design it so just the glass can be lifted off and replaced on the digitizer. It’s just a glue holding them together, so use a different glue.
I like to tinker, so I'd like to combine parts from broken ones from eBay, but I don't trust Apples serializing of parts for this phone. Gotta research this.
I was a big if not the biggest supporter of mini phones for ever. Daily driving an iPhone SE 2020 for the past 2 years I feel any smaller would be an inconvenience. Sometimes apps do get too cramp, especially the ones with horizontal keyboards
i have big hands so mini doesn’t work for me but when I tried it with smaller hands it felt perfect ngl hope that size becomes the standard moving on then the regular size rn becomes the pro size
I own the iPhone 13 mini and I love it! Fits perfect on hand and perfect in the pocket. What they should do is rename the iPhone mini to SE and bring back the Touch ID. The point of SE was to keep the classic design so bring back the iPhone 5’s design and size at affordable price.
I have an iPhone 12 mini for 3 years now and I really like how it feels in my hand. I can lay in bed and just use one hand to do everything. The camera quality is nice for what it is. I really don't have any problems with it. And I like how it easily fits in my pockets, not like a big chungus phone that's really uncomfortable when you sit. Sad Tim discontinued the mini series cause they were somewhat low budget/affordable. I bought my phone when the stimulus checks came out and I haven't regretted my purchase.
I bought a 12 mini back in the summer of 2021, but missed having a larger phone to watch shows on while I was walking on the treadmill at the gym so I traded it in. Big mistake, missed it a lot. Fast forward to last month I got the green 13 mini and I love it so much. Best iPhone I’ve ever had.
Only problem with these phones is they weren't small enough. They should have used the chassis of the 5s / 1st gen SE, which is the proper size of a cell phone.

ZenPhone 9 exists. But 13 mini is king of small phone world right now
I swap between a 13 Pro Max and 13 mini but I managed to convert nearly all my friends who aren’t power users over to 13 minis 😂 There are a lot of people I know swapping from older iPhones to the 13 mini in last 6 months and it’s not due to cost but lifestyle and wanting iOS and used it since the OG iPhones so they really wanted iPhone 5 size but had to move onto iPhone 6 sizes.
Still have a 13 pro max, 13 mini is too small
Exactly, battery aside I’ve never loved a phone so much since my Samsung Galaxy S6 and this phone felt like a spiritual successor to me
@@patty_meltd I forgot but found out 2 days after the fact that they increased battery replacement prices too so that disappointed me
I’ve had a 13 mini since it first launched. It’s definitely my favorite iPhone yet and idk when I’ll ever upgrade. None of the new iPhones and rumors for the 15 sound interesting to me, and mini is just the right size for my hands. It fits my needs perfectly well, and I hope it’ll continue to work well for years to come.
The mini was perfect. I love my 13 Mini. I’ll probably keep it until it’s no longer supported. I love being able to text one handed.
Yes, I have decided do the same. This phone is amazing tiny flagship. 10/10.
@@PixelizedONE I had the iPhone X before the 13 Mini and the X was okay but it was still just a little too big
I used my iPhone SE 1 until the battery fully breaked down a few months ago. Would never have switch by free will. That thing had the perfect size.
Since then, I wish I had gotten the 12 mini to begin with because it really is just the perfect size to use and I may end up going to an SE in the future if they use the mini as the new size and shape for it
Make it look like a podcast with the two camera angles for each of you it will boost the views
For the last 6 months I've been daily carrying the Z Fold3 and a 13 Mini. Love them both. Before I got the Mini it was the SE 2020.
My first ever iPhone was the 13 Mini. I’ve been on this phone for over a year and honestly, I love it. It’s a fantastic phone.
bough it exactly 2 years ago brand new 70€ cheaper than the Apple store pricetag, at 739€. note that it was 1st anniversary of the phone realase.
Me too
Currently running a 12 mini bought from the refurb store, love the size
I daily drive 14 plus, and only reason I did was for work. I’m on my phone all day and not having to worry about charging it for about 2 days of excessive use makes my work so much easier!
I have a launch day 12 mini and yes, after two years my battery was barely tolerable. I had to charge it midday every day. Got a new battery, and when this thing dies again in two years I’ll be getting a 13 mini new if they are still around or renewed. I’m not letting this go, I don’t want to deal with big phones ever again.
You could also consider the Asus Zenfone 9
Putting your phone in your back pocket should be one of the top 5 classifications of a psychopath.
Did the same thing - ‘downgraded’ from the 14 Pro to the mini 13 - love the form factor and its cameras make great photos.
I got the 14 Plus while it was on sale and love it. Great battery life only having to charge it every other day.
"I got a great deal $702!"
You shopped in the price range my man.
iPhone 14 Plus user here and I absolutely love it.
My current phone is a 12 mini; my next phone won’t be a 15 Pro, it’ll be a 13 mini unless they bring the series back.
Yeah, I'd consider another mini if I decided to migrate again. Its the size of fun.
I would go out right now and buy a mini pro. Just make the battery bigger and the whole phone a bit thicker to eliminate the camera bump.
Better word, “better battery” since bigger battery would mean bigger phone which defeats the purpose of a mini
Also, I think Apple knew that the mini was good but they don’t want to keep making smaller phones they wanna keep making bigger phones. I think they know the world likes the miniform factor.
These two are right. Matt and I have the same theory about this exact form factor coming back in the future when a new battery technology is up.
13 mini with MagSafe battery goes hard 🔥
i've had a 3gs, a 5, a 6s, an SE2, and now i switched to 14. i wanted a 13mini but then i saw that it was only 50 bucks less than the 14 on (italian) amazon and i got tempted, not by the video stabilizer, not by the brighter screen, not by the 6gb of ram, not by the margianlly better camera, but by two and two things only: bigger screen and better battery life. i was kinda used to bring power banks with me and i love not having to bring those anymore. plus i watch video a lot, i use the phone for navigation while driving (i got a 2009 bmw... no apple carplay as you guessed) so i'm digging the big screen. i gotta say though... i have small hands and i miss the small size of the SE. in fact i am using the 14 without cover to make it feel smaller and i'm always looking for a slim cover to buy. i've had the 6s for 5 years and the SE for almost 3 so i'm so used to those ergonomics that sometimes i think i should've bought a 13 mini and a slim magsafe power bank. idk
I’m still on the 12 mini but if they launch an iPhone 15 mini, I will 100% buy it.
Matt's voice concerns me, hope you're doing well! I've never carried an iPhone, but the mini 13 appealed to me, even though I went with the s22 Ultra.
I currently have a OnePlus 8T. Every single time I use my wife's pixel 5 for literally anything I always say how amazing it is to have a phone small enough that I can reach all points of the screen easily. I have larger than average hands too and still prefer a much smaller phone.
not letting go of the 12 mini
the 12 line is the last iPhones that you can disable HDR, as a photographer i like having options over AI enhancements
I know lots of people who immediately popped on the 12 mini when it came out, I’m sure if a 15 mini came out they would pop again, the biggest market for the mini phones are regular folks who just want a solid phone, and do not buy them every year, so the 3-4 year gap means time to upgrade.
I feel you my man, I had the 12 mini, went to 13 PM, then 14 Pro, now back to 13 mini lol also just for a refurb Series 3 watch in Ceramic white
How do you feel about going back to a 60hz panel? I am considering going back to a Mini from a 14Pro. I miss the size but love pro motion. 😤
Ngl I saw some people on RUclips saying it doesn’t matter much unless you are comparing side by side and j always scoffed but when I switched, it did bother me for sometime but after like 4-5 days, I stopped noticing and just enjoyed the phone as it was
The Zenfone 9 is the compact king🔥🔥🔥🔥
I just got mine in midnight 512GB on eBay for 560$ tax included. Even with 86% battery health, this phone is great in every aspect. The battery life is okay, but with MagSafe battery pack, there is no worries getting it through the day!!! This is a great phone over those big chunky phones out there.
I saw some posts today, they sell it for 380$ brand new in box for 128GB and 440$ for 256GB. Too bad they don’t have 512GB.
I bought the 14+ and love it. Don’t need the always on display and the extra camera. It has great battery life.
I bought a Blue 13 Mini 2 weeks ago, coming from a 12 pro max, i love it! The size is just perfect
Have a good day everyone!
Why did this video feel like an exam where you have to fill a 20 point answer but you only have a single line of answer with you?
I was convinced small is best when I switched from a Galaxy A71 to an S10e. I miss when phones weren't tablets.
The 13 mini would make a fantastic basis for the next SE, great pocket device, feels great (I switched a year ago from a larger iphone 11)
I wish I had a mini. I would really hope they bring them back in the future.
Only problem with these phones is they weren't small enough. They should have used the chassis of the 5s / 1st gen SE, which is the proper size of a cell phone.
2:33 “I’m not some iSheep” 😂
