This bench has been repaired several times due to the numerous nails and screws removed from it, but wasn't done properly. Now it looks better than before. Looks more modern. Thanks for sharing.

I agree with your opinion about patina, but for this bench, patina is not an issue at all. Because for a piece of furniture, in my opinion, it must first be very valuable in terms of historical age and even time, but this bench is only about 30 years old.

None the less, not hating your post, just thought the restoration was going to have a similar look just more sturdy, square, repaired, clear coated, etc. To me you actually transformed the bench into something completely different opposed to restoring the original.
In carpentry or renovation, we can create a special and simple but spectacular effect even with simple finishing. I also didn't want to occupy more of this bench by using overprints and I tried to pay only the edges and the sides.
