Hey! It's me. I know I took the long way around for some things in the video, but I figured once you'd seen it all, you'd be inspired to do it your own special way. This tutorial was born out of my own random experimentation in the shader editor, a place where I think everyone should hang out on a fairly regular basis. There's so many possibilities there! it worked till halfway the first time. every time i tried afterwards, after adding driver to the array modifier, it shows an error - the offset is too small to generate geometry. i tried scaling out the empties n ol. no use :( this was one of the coolest tutorials i've seen for blender. i just can't get to make it work.

I figure it out! My problem was because I rotated, scaled and moved the plane in object mode, not in edit mode, as the video show!
