Just bought a 2011 EX luxury edition - absolutely love it. I test drove one back in 2011 - but waited until I found a used one with less than 20k on the odo. Getting tons of compliments on it already - definitely a head-turner on the street. I love the power, handling, comfort - the Infinity sound system gives me a warm fuzzy. Can't say enough about the car. I've owned many vehicles over the years - this one restored the enjoyment and excitement for driving to this 50 yr. old. Way to go Peter Schreyer.
Everyone must know!!!! I purchased a 2012 Optima EX last week...I love it and everyone keeps talking about how nice it is and how KIA and Hyundia are killing Honda and Toyota with their small and midsize lineups
Very well thought out review. The only grip would be the 'late-in-the-day' taping, that made for some barely visible footage that would've other-wise have been beautiful shots, instead of silhouettes.
True he isn't a salesman, because he forgot a lot of features. I F'n love this car I have the exact same trim and color. Kia has definitely stepped it up.
good review dude but u forgot to mention that the kia offers a shit load of standard features like the usual stability control four wheels abs disc breaks ...airbags yadayada.. as well as steering wheel mounted controls and bluetooth ... on the base ... not to shabby
@5had0wL1nk He forgot to mention them because he isn't selling the car. He points out what he thinks are highlights and pertinent to the review. That said, a subjective review like this one is heavily biased. And that is why we, as consumers, need to consider many different reviews before forming an opinion.

@n2n4n It actually isn't too bad considering the cheap Korean tires. Very comfortably hushed.

Best Saab Clone.
nice deep review , thanks
Test drove Sonata but the steering wheel was too stiff so I couldn't get it. How loose is the Kia on that?
BUY IT!
