I like this guy! His candor is perfect without being insulting or rude. He still tells it like it is, not trying to sell you something. His delivery is spot on. Nice work, keep it up! Retro Game Corps look out!
Rad video, man! The way you presented and assessed this device was really engaging to watch. It's neat to see an oddly-designed unit like this one amidst the market of super sleek and refined handhelds on offer. I hope we continue to see strange designs like this that go their own way, especially given the trend of companies just cloning each others' successful products.
Thank you kindly! I hope more companies take risks with slightly wackier devices. Things get boring when everyone has the same form factor and design stylings.
I'm not exactly sold on the wideness to be honest. Some games look a bit stretched out imo, but it's not the worst I've seen. Some content looks really good to me, like NES and Super nintendo games. Mario Bros 3 was looking real crisp!
For GBA, the bios/core that was used for it was broken or out of date. This issue was present in SF2000 but it was fixed when it was flashed with multicore.
kof 02 is super popular and has so many players in fightcade. also its more of a turn based character by character. kof03 is has a tag system where you can put in any character you want anytime you want. kind of like marvel vs capcom series. each kof game is different, each kof game has their own characters. kof is fun!
Ill stick with my hacked PS Vita. Plays everything up to PS1 without any issues, N64 has a compatability list and it can even play a couple dreamcast games. Another reason i love the PS Vita over any of the chinese handhelds is reliability. Battery life and reliability with chinese batteries is a concern with them puffing up after some years and the Vitas can easily be replaced and are alot more customisable. This is great tho for people less tech savvy, confident or younger kids that might yeet it through a wall and it hurts less if something cheap gets broken.
I remember having one when I was younger. It was my first experience with emulation on another device. I used to play Mario 64 a ton on it. I kind of miss those wild west days of console emulation, it was all so interesting and magical. Emulation on XBOX was another avenue I really enjoyed. I hope one day we go back to that
@@SiliconFox-s8d The Anbernic RG35XX-SP is my favorite of these. The lack of analogue sticks are a slight issue but the default OS is actually solid and it can run most dreamcast stuff well and everything else is buttery smooth and gorgeous. I think the actual holy grail is the steam deck or the RoG Ally, but for cheaper, the gameboy SP shaped one is great. Also, great vid I love your vibe. Subscribed

Thank you very much! I appreciate the vote of confidence! 😅

Keep up the great work! Love the tone, love the topic, love the delivery.
Love the video. How do you feel about the wideness of the screen?

The gba sounds the same way, as if it is emulated on the ps3. It is forsurea big bet that it is the firmware.
Awesome video. Love your shirt!
Thank you! I love the mess out of that shirt too!
algorithm bump comment.
Doesn't look very ergonomic, and why does it even have an analog stick? I do give them Kudos for trying something different.

The aspect ration is no good ma guy
china refurbishing old hardware once again, there is not a single console worth buying, even anbernic is refurbushing 5 years old cpu's, lame af
I'm still on the search for the "holy grail" so to speak. There's got to be a handheld out there that's not just glorified e-waste!
