    Bravo for luda folding set there, this is why i hate flop 3 bet, its alwasy super strong and hard to balance

    • @Peter-zg3em
      @Peter-zg3em 3 месяца назад +9

      Here is how you balance it… do it with crazy draws (you have great equity but you’re probably behind,) and blockers (air,) once in a blue moon. That way you can actually 3 bet your sets and get paid. But yes, generally you call in modern poker and it’s just a matter of how many bigs you have and getting the money in by the river.
      Matusow is stuck in 2003 in a lot of ways.

    "I knew I should have jammed this..... after he sees the guys set of threes...only to say 2 seconds later, I thought he had 910" which beggggggs the question Mike, why would you jam if you think the guy had the nuts? Mike is the best in the world at knowing what move he would have made after he gets to see the other persons cards. Love seeing that junkie live the life he is destined for. Guy is a degen to the max and someone you hate to be around in a poker room, especially if you are losing having to hear his voice and arrogance.

    6:45 Francisco asks why he went all in… just two days ago I turned top set of kings. I check and opp bets 105. I jam because I only have $30 more (135 total) and he ends up folding. I asked to rabbit hunt the river and it was the case king which would’ve been a $300 high hand 😭😭😭

    I used to play poker for 3 years straight for almost every day. At that period I have dealt AA three times in a row, made quards 3 times in an hour, made 3 straigh flushs and one royal. I have NEVER hit a set (any set) three times in a row. That seems like one in a billion. Any math people here to help me with the odds?

    • @bexneb8677
      @bexneb8677 3 месяца назад

      Hit a royal flush is harder to make 3 of a kind in a row... You play texas holdem?

    • @Luke-ds8cn
      @Luke-ds8cn 3 месяца назад +3

      The probability of getting a 3-of-a-kind in a single hand is approximately 2.11%, and the probability of this happening three times in a row is about 0.000943% (or 9.43 in a million).
      The probability of getting a Royal Flush in a single hand is approximately 0.000154% (or 1.54 in a million).
      It's more likely to get dealt a 3-of-a-kind three hands in a row than it is to get dealt a Royal Flush one time.

    can someone explain what the hell was that all in with KK? since he had KK he didnt put villain on AK so villain either has AA, 88, or bluff. You dont want to scare away the bluffs on the turn with the reshove, and AA-88 would go allin on the river anyways. Idk but that play looks like a rookie mistake to me.

      Dr H had so little left after committing 90% of his stack that MOST ppl there are calling pretty much anything at that point. Like Mike said "it's either all in or fold here" and since he had the nuts it's obv not the latter
