As you guys are on your way to one of the best experiences of your life, I just want to say..I'm so happy to be a part of this journey with you...this is what a reaction channel is all about..not knowing anything about an artist, to going through their entire discography, becoming true fans, and now seeing them live in concert..I hope you guys have an amazing time tonight, it's unforgettable 🌀🤘😝🤘
It was definitely meant to be for you guys to see TOOL on a Tuesday. I can't wait to find out about your experience. 2 years later and I'm still excited about this journey and experience with you guys. By leaps and bounds my favorite reactors. Just remember....NO PHONES during the show. Have a blast! Much love! ❤🤘
I hesitantly clicked on one of their videos a few weeks ago, not having ever heard of them and not in to rap per say, and instantly subscribed 2 minutes in...Great chemistry and insight these two have, very enjoyable!
It’s called a talk box and uses the guitars sound thru a plastic tube to the persons mouth to make the effect. I remember hearing this on the radio and loving it. A very good example of this is Peter Frampton’s “Do You Feel Like We Do”. Classic rock isn’t my cup of tea, but it’s a great song and he uses that effect. He’s also a very, very great guitar player.
@@OmgItsZakkE I knew Motley Crue had a song using one but couldn’t remember which one. I think Joe Walsh’s “Rocky Mountain Way” is another one I can think of.
The guitar solo is using what's called a talk box, it's an effect pedal that includes a plastic tube, and when activated, it plays the guitars' sound up through the tube, which you hold between your back teeth, and as you play you move your lips and jaw and it echoes out the mouth into the microphone.
Dude you guys are gonna have melted faces tonight. Good luck gentlemen, and have a bad ass time. Concerts can be life changing. This is what music is all about. Love the show. Keep it up guys!
This is actually just a well edited video with the album track dubbed over…for the BEST live recording, find Nashville 2020 where Richie Faulkner from Judas Priest plays dialing guitar solos with Adam. It was epic
Saw Tool on Tool Tuesday January 11th in Tacoma, WA. Absolutely amazing! Seeing your excitement makes me want to go see them again! You guys will not be disappointed no matter what songs they decide to play.
The show I went to, in Auckland NZ, they opened with Third Eye but in the show the next day they opened with Jimmy. Defs got my moneys worth. Adam Jones is using a talk box btw. For more on this, check out Keep Talking from Pink Floyd's Pulse show.
I have seen Tool 8 times over the years and the one and only time I have heard Eulogy was at the 98 Ozzfest at Star Lake. Lots of LSD made it a religious experience for me. Still my favorite Tool show.
I hope you guys have a blast tonight and maybe I'll see you guys at the show! I'll be in line when this video comes out lol. I'll be sure to check it out tomorrow. Thanks for your continuous content and for being so down to earth. I'll be in Section 214 waaay up top 😂
It's a talk box it blows a steady stream of air into your mouth and by restricting or allowing the air to pass it affects the output of the distortion of the guitar
Jambi is typically played prior to this part of the tour. I think the last 5 concerts I went to before last month they always played Jambi and Stinkfist. But they def changed things up this time around c
🦋 When Your so excited To See Tool, and You Can't Think Straight... 🤣🤣 That Needs To Go Into The Yearly Funny Outtakes For 2022. A Funny Moment To Also Remember On This Ultimate Tool Tuesday. Can't Wait To Watch The Epic Event Through Your Camera Lens... You Guys Are Going To Have A Blast! 🎶🤘😎✌🎶
You guys are going to love it. I've seen exactly 15 Tool shows including on the current tour, and it remains the best live experience. Can't wait to hear what y'all have to say about it.
I honestly think that a Tool concert would be the only place I could just be in the moment and feeling the music without worrying about what people thought of what I looked like because everyone else would be doing the same thing. I hope y'all had a fuckin blast guys
Jambi is the name of the genie from Pee-Wee's Play House. In the song, Maynard says that if he thought that he would lose the person he's singing about, he would *wish* all of his riches and opulence away, and genies grant wishes.
The Houston set list was (not in order) Fear Innoculum, The Pot, Stinkifist, Jerk-off, The Grudge, Descending, Danny Drum Solo, Culling Voices, Sober and The Patient. The energy was something else man. Hundreds of people, men, women and yes even children all gathered in one place for one singular and common purpose....to experience TOOL! I would have spent my entire life savings to watch them (damn near almost did 😂😂). A night that I will never ever forget. Thank you guys and enjoy the show as much as I did!!!!
Day I-don’t-know-anymore of suggesting y’all to react to Ride, Slowdive and My Bloody Valentine. Should be epic! _______ As always, amazing reaction. Your excitement for the upcoming concert can be felt. Hope y’all had a blast and waiting for your review/chronicle/aftershow reaction!
Immaculate performances from all of them. They really are a well oiled machine. I saw them live in Melbourne Australia in Feb 2020 just before covid hit here. It was a blessing and a once in a lifetime experience.
Have a great time tonight brothers!🤘✌️ I can't wait to hear about your experience. I've seen Tool fours times and have been blown away each time, the last in 2019.
Omg!Awesome!! Can't wait til you tell us all about your experience!! Right on!! Hahahaha y'all missed "see" lol! All in good fun my friends! Thanks guys!❤️🤓
Think y'all getting an even better show tonight from what vids I've watched. I REALLY wish we could've gone the other day! Would be awesome to see a concert reaction of y'all tonight!!!!! 🪕🎸🎙️🤘
Yes!!!! I’m putting this down at 10:30 as I’m sure this show is going on. Can not wait to hear back. All I know is right now, you’re having the best time.
Yoo!! So I have had the fortune of watching you two find and dare I say “fall in love” with this band. It is a true joy to see someone like something you like. I’ve seen them 5x’s this tour amd you will have an experience you will compare all others too Seeing y’all go to first show is effen soo cool!! 🤘🏼🌀
Going to tool tonight will be a monumental moment for you guys indeed! Listen closely to the words! They speak from a place most can't comprehend, but you can feel it!
Tonight you both are officially in the tool army upper ranks. Welcome to the inner depths of the spiral. I expect to see you at many shows in the future
Sorry i was too late, but Tool is great and Maynard is soooooooo amazing, his voice is soooooooo amazing great, i love this band from the first time i hear them ! Bro's i love you, you are in my heart forever ! Greatings from germany ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
You’ll enjoy the show regardless of what they perform. I guarantee that. I saw them in Eugene and Tacoma and it was the same setlist but I know they’ve tweaked a little since then. I hope you decided to do a video on the experience. You guys are in for an amazing show!!!
Actually I’ve seen them played Stinkfist at the Nokia Theatre in LA back in 2010. They made the guitar solo longer which caused us the audience to have an ear orgasm!
That was too funny. I was not able to think of the 5th sense either as I was watching y’all. It was early in the morning when I was watching , but still. That was funny
I'd be shocked if nobody linked them a vid from one of the concerts of the past month or so. Would've prob gave them the best idea, but hey at this point they're prolly half way through the show lol
My mans got introduced to the Heil Talk Box.... It superimposes a vocal into the guitars output signal before it hits the amplifier and makes the guitar sound like its talking but in the notes and attack/Decay of the guitar notes being currently played with the Talk Box.
It would be such a treat for us if you guys managed to be able to get backstage and do a short interview with the guys either way have fun so happy for you guys be safe. 🗑️🗣️4️⃣🧬
I'm so glad you guys are finally going to see Tool live, it will change your life. You both will be buzzing for days afterwards. Such a spiritual experience 🙂
The best part was when you were trying to figure out the fifth sense and said “Do you SEE what Tool does to us?” Thousands of people were thinking “You’re so close!” FYI, I’m going to see Tool for the third time tonight in Tampa. Hope you enjoyed the show and can’t wait to hear the reaction about that!
I wish the creator of this video would take the time to do a whole 90 minute dvd of Tool live like this. Outstanding vid and great reaction 👍 #toolreactions #reacttotool #toollive
Most amazing thing about Tool live is that they are not playing to the click. Watch the non-verbal communication between Adam, Justin, Danny as they cue each other. Virtuoso performances.

That is so fkn true! They're saw tool on a Tuesday that's awesome. I bet they had the best experience of their lives.
Yeah but they're going to Wednesday night show in tampa. I on the other hand went to Tool Tuesday Orlando show last night.
I hesitantly clicked on one of their videos a few weeks ago, not having ever heard of them and not in to rap per say, and instantly subscribed 2 minutes in...Great chemistry and insight these two have, very enjoyable!
Haha I saw them on a tuesday as well

Exactly. You control the pitch of the guitar with the shape of your mouth. Like Man in the box - AIC
Dr. Feelgood - Motley Crue
And many others
@@OmgItsZakkE I knew Motley Crue had a song using one but couldn’t remember which one. I think Joe Walsh’s “Rocky Mountain Way” is another one I can think of.
@@paulie98vr6 I was wrong. It's actually Kickstart my heart. Not Dr. Feelgood
Richie sambora does it too in a Bon Jovi song.
@@OmgItsZakkE Guns N' Roses, Rocket Queen Live in Tokyo is a good example. Bon Jovi, Livin' on a Prayer
That video is bunk! The videos of the concert are real but the sound is just the album version.
The live sound is so much better
Yeah kinda a bummer
I could tell it didn’t match up pretty quickly. I’m sure they’re amazing live, but I was thinking damn that sounds exactly like the album version lol.
The guitar solo is using what's called a talk box, it's an effect pedal that includes a plastic tube, and when activated, it plays the guitars' sound up through the tube, which you hold between your back teeth, and as you play you move your lips and jaw and it echoes out the mouth into the microphone.

That's the hidden beauty of Tool...They sound like THAT live !!! Very few can come close...
Dubbed audio.
This is actually just a well edited video with the album track dubbed over…for the BEST live recording, find Nashville 2020 where Richie Faulkner from Judas Priest plays dialing guitar solos with Adam. It was epic
I finally saw them live in Sacramento a few weeks ago. Life changing!! I’m so excited for you both to see them!!!!

This was literally the studio version edited with concert reverb and audience sound over a video
You know, I thought so
lol yeah
Now imagine Jerry Cantrell using that same mouthpiece device to make the guitar riff for Alice In Chains’ Man In The Box the entire song!
Don't forget to get comfortable, and vulnerable, I want you to close your eyes and go there. We'll meet you on the other side.
Spiral out.
Lmao Tool got my dudes in such a state they forgot they had eyes
You guys are going to love it. I've seen exactly 15 Tool shows including on the current tour, and it remains the best live experience. Can't wait to hear what y'all have to say about it.
You are lucky to see them. Enjoy every minute. It will be something you will never forget. Fantastic band.
I honestly think that a Tool concert would be the only place I could just be in the moment and feeling the music without worrying about what people thought of what I looked like because everyone else would be doing the same thing. I hope y'all had a fuckin blast guys
Just went to New Orleans Saturday!!! You will never forget the experience!!!
The vocal effects Maynard usually keeps a bullhorn on him and sings through its mike a lot for the more distant effect
I was there with you tonight. Can’t wait for your reaction. For me one word does it: AMAZING!
Jambi is the name of the genie from Pee-Wee's Play House. In the song, Maynard says that if he thought that he would lose the person he's singing about, he would *wish* all of his riches and opulence away, and genies grant wishes.
Jambi has a multi meaning.
A character on Peewee's Playhouse TV show, iambic pentameter, and a place in Indonesia.
Some bucket list shit for sure. Haha that bass drop had you both tripped up.
Hell yeah my dudes, let's go!!!🤘...thanks for the awesome reaction video as always..
Dat voice. Also dat bass. And drums. And guitar 😍👌
This video is the studio version with reverb to make it sound live. They sound great live.. not this great though.

Jambi may be my favorite tool song.
I was at the show last nite in Orlando..was the 6th time for me. Can't wait til you guys get there tonight
When r u guys releasing a video about the show!!??
Have a great time tonight brothers!🤘✌️ I can't wait to hear about your experience. I've seen Tool fours times and have been blown away each time, the last in 2019.
Wanted to make it on live but couldnt ='( I hope that ur expirience at Tool concert be great! Love you all trash family ❤
So happy for you guys to be going to see them! They are incredible!
He says he's ready, but no one is ever ready for a tool show
Omg!Awesome!! Can't wait til you tell us all about your experience!! Right on!! Hahahaha y'all missed "see" lol! All in good fun my friends! Thanks guys!❤️🤓
The talk box solo live is going to give you all the goose bumps
Absolutely it will!
I just saw Tool in Las Vegas and oh man! if the setlist they play for you is similar, you're going to lose your minds!
Hope I'm wrong, but if this is the famous "live" version of Jambi... no, it won't be live, just processed to sound like it is. Fingers crossed.
I could immediately tell by the vocals that it isn't a true live version... oh well 🤷♂️
That is all the way studio recorded
Definitely not live
I saw them in 2007 in paris and it was great and magic .And now i hope see them (covid 19)because i have a ticket for the 12th may 2022 in paris to.

Going to tool tonight will be a monumental moment for you guys indeed! Listen closely to the words! They speak from a place most can't comprehend, but you can feel it!
Hope you guys had a great time at the show. I saw them at the Colorado springs show. It was mind blowing
This is 100% album mixed with live footage & crowd added in.
You guys are official now that you have seen them. You probably really found out how badass Justin is!!!
Tonight you both are officially in the tool army upper ranks. Welcome to the inner depths of the spiral. I expect to see you at many shows in the future
Can't wait to hear what y'all thought... I was in the butter zone in the rafters pure center stage :)
Witnessing tool live will change your life,. Rock on brothers
“That don’t make no sense?” 😂😂
And they are amazing as ever
Trash talkers and Tool on Tuesday. The world makes sense again.👍 Make sure to document your concert experience. Hope they play Culling Voices for you.
I think you guys would love Beneath The Mire and Masters Apprentices by Opeth, but im lovin the tool stuff as well

Who ever plays the "lights and lazers" instrument at live shows should get as much credit as the other band members
Seeing a live tool concert on RUclips is like someone describing a rainbow to you if you’re blind.
You’ll enjoy the show regardless of what they perform. I guarantee that. I saw them in Eugene and Tacoma and it was the same setlist but I know they’ve tweaked a little since then. I hope you decided to do a video on the experience. You guys are in for an amazing show!!!

So, I've been a Tool fan all my life, and you get to see them live only after reacting to some of their songs. Yeah, life is definitely good :))
My mans got introduced to the Heil Talk Box.... It superimposes a vocal into the guitars output signal before it hits the amplifier and makes the guitar sound like its talking but in the notes and attack/Decay of the guitar notes being currently played with the Talk Box.
That was a album version with some reverb and crowd noise over the different concerts.
You guys better make a recap vid of your Tool experience!!!
Also - They're light show has evolved considerably since the time this concert was shot - you're going to love it. Saw it in Toronto in 2019.
Love Maynard's dancing during the bridge. He reminds me of Majora.
Ive never compared him to majora, you might be on to something!
We definitely need a full show report after! Enjoy boys, it’s gonna be a life altering experience!
Love this song!
Were y’all at the Orlando show??? I didn’t know y’all were in Florida! I was in Section 116! It was such a sick show!!!!!
Have fun tonight!!! Tool is the greatest live band of all time (after hoobastank).
Just so you know Bacon Ator, you have been crowned a LEGEND amongst The Tribe.🤘🤘🤘
Enjoy Your first Tool homecoming. It's a life event. Make sure you are Blazed 🔥 🔥
It would be such a treat for us if you guys managed to be able to get backstage and do a short interview with the guys either way have fun so happy for you guys be safe. 🗑️🗣️4️⃣🧬
did that with his mouth like peter frampton made his guitar ask "do you feel, like i do" back in the day lol.
Yessir boys that is a talk box. Great tool for guitar playin
I'm so glad you guys are finally going to see Tool live, it will change your life. You both will be buzzing for days afterwards. Such a spiritual experience 🙂
OMG Im so excited for you 2 !!
:) :)
I love that you're listing the senses and you keep missing see. And while trying to figure out what it is, you say "see what TOOL does to us?" Lmao
I saw them this tour. Fckning blown away by Maynards vocals.
The best part was when you were trying to figure out the fifth sense and said “Do you SEE what Tool does to us?”

Domination in moscow....millions of people loving it 💕
Haha! Tool tonight? They’re gonna have fun 😏
Most amazing thing about Tool live is that they are not playing to the click. Watch the non-verbal communication between Adam, Justin, Danny as they cue each other. Virtuoso performances.
My favorite to see live, actually.. going again this Tuesday.. it's been three years.
Lol!!! The 5 senses yall I can't believe you two forgot sight!!! 🤣
Yeah, he kinda chews the end of a cable and the changing shapes of his mouth give different sounds at the "-box" end of the "talk-box" system
You guys saw them in Orlando? I was at that concert.
Took my 16 yo with me. I think it might have broke him. Best non Pink Floyd concert I've ever seen
So different now, & if you didn't know this was a collaboration video from different concerts with remastered sound.
