LEVI VS ZEKE BUT WITH BETTER OST

- I did not like the music in the original, it certainly fits the scene, but it does not fit the Attack of the Titans at all. From the drama show, we tried to make entertainment, I know that in season 3 we also used this music, but even there it did not fit at all, so I changed the soundtrack, I hope you will appreciate it

Not a bad conflict I arranged in the comments

How did you remove the original Soundtrack?
@@Andres-bl5vu he didn’t you can still here it in the background
Btw people in the comments, the director of music for season 4 is Masafumi Mima - the same person from all the other seasons. So please don't go hating on Mappa for the musical choices when it isn't their decision
yeahh
but still, The director from MAPPA (Hayashi san) is the one responsible for approving the music choices and can request changes ( this happened already in S4 E1 & 2 and Mima tweeted about it).
Still, I do love and prefer all the original choices made during this season and I don't see any problem about any scene.
Directors and episode directors can request a certain ost for a specific scene. Like araki always did in s1-3.
k21 wasn't even a bad choice tbh
We know but the Director of mappa, he is the one who choose the ost in the scene
Sorry for my english but u understand me :>
Someone said it didn’t fit the emotional theme. Taking this from Zekes perspective he is fighting a beast, a ripper and Levi had to kill all his friends bringing out the innermost evil in him. He inherits the power that Kenny uses and because of that K21 is playing instead of anything else, because at that moment Zeke is fighting Levi the Ripper.
Weird seeing Rat King here, where’s the rat pack?
This is good but idk why the "Kenny Theme" fitted really well for mee..... Good job tho :3
I didn’t like it at first but it really grew on me.
Because Levi is pretty much Kenny now,
@XooX YooT naa fam the rap on this makes the scn extra fire
callate
I really enjoyed the K21 over the fight, idk why it gets so much flak
Eren’s Declaration of War OST: 2Volt
“Fans”: This sucks! *uses Youseebiggirl*
Levi vs Zeke OST: K21
“Fans”: This sucks! *Uses 2Volt*
no, no, no, no.... youseebiggirl is not suitable. Better Ashes on The Fire
I don't had any literally any problem with declaration of war lmao it's was perfect for me
@bo vermouth Yes, yes, yes, enter the declaration of war on RUclips and look at the fan choice of music, 2 million people does no one care?
@@vlayd6495 Idk why people are being so hostile towards you. You killed this bro ❤️
@@MystikMonK-d1k its not hostile , its just annoying at this point, if it isnt youseebiggirl, apetitan, ətˈæk 0N tάɪtn or Vogel im Käfig, it isnt considered good, every vid that makes a scene better with an ost its always the same 4 ost
The music you chose gives off a sadness/faint hope vibe
I felt the scene was more about anger, especially in the manga with that panel were levi appears and looks at zeke
I like mappas ost better but this is still really good bro
MAPPA's song was badass. but it just didn't fit the emotional context of the scene. Levi just had to kill his comrades! this song that you just put suits much better.👍🏾
Not really, Levi was full of pride, arrogance and confidence in this scene, that's why Kenny OST fits way better for this
@@justaplayboywithoutamustac1695 the edit fits because it shows how much levi had to lose. his comrades and Commander Erwin. especially from Zeke. Levi swore to kill Zeke. but on two occasions, Levi did not kill. We all know Levi is a badass. But he also suffered a lot. The song in this video not only shows his badassery, but also how much he cares for his fallen comrades.
@@blackpanther10105 not really, this song doesn't really changes anything, the moment we saw Levi cares for his soldiers etc, was when his soldiers were transformed into titans, this is just a fight scene with Levi being as arrogant as Kenny, so Kenny OST makes sense imo
@@justaplayboywithoutamustac1695 Levi has always cared for his soldiers, so whatever moment that we see levi with his soldiers, then we already know that he cared for them. this fight scene doesn't depict Levi as arrogant. This scene depicts that even though he had to kill his comrades, nothing is going to stop him from his main objective. the tragedy of his comrades that Levi had to face was emphasized with this song
@@blackpanther10105 lol ok
It’s crazy how the ost can change the whole tone of this scene, this fits better with the idea of levi killing his own comrades.
True but didnt fit his sense of hatred towards zeke , keenys theme does tho as youve seen how keeny was before , but both ost are great
@@Requiem0139 kennys theme is kennys not Levi's
@@albertdiaz7207 but it runs in the ackermens blooddd
@@albertdiaz7207 it is k21. neither levis nor kennys
This is a really nice edit, but to everyone who is saying "The Mappa ost didn't really fit with Levi's emotional state" You have to think, Levi so casually says something along the lines of "then you have no idea, how many comrades I have had to kill" with arrogance and casually, Levi has already been through the emotional toll of losing loved ones, he has accepted that by now and knows it is going to happen no matter what. So to Levi, him killing Zeke was just a regular walk in the park. The fight was supposed to be more badass than emotional, we can tell this from even how comical and scared Zeke is being before he transforms. Also, it would be pretty awkward (storytelling-wise) if the fight was more emotional and was more about how sad Levi was over some comrades, we, as an audience hardly even knew. Idk that's just my two cents
I’m tired of people thinking they need to “fix” mappa’s season 4. They made the music choice for a reason, you people aren’t the professionals directly working on the project. Season 4 is great without your input
Thank you
Let people do what they prefer lol... being or not a professional doesn’t forbid people to edit a video wtf is wrong with you all
@@lefudj4236 They literally said "better ost" implying they think what they are doing is a fix of some sort
@@lefudj4236 its just annoying at this point , its always the same osts like youseebiggirl, apetitan, ətˈæk 0N tάɪtn or Vogel im Käfig,
@@Requiem0139 yeah you got a point there. But i guess thats also because they are the best. On this video though, i do agree that i don’t think the rap thing from Kenny’s arc was the best (i think it also comes from the fact that i don’t particularly like the song in itself) but the edit doesn’t make it especially better
Honestly I rly like both versions. The only two ost choices which I thought didn't fit were eren vs Marley and declaration of war. Declaration of war could've been the one where they used ashes on fire but eren vs Marley, I was thinking it couldve used attack on titan wmid. If you could ever get a chance of editing those in, that'd be AMAZING
Finally someone who doesn’t keep saying youseebiggirl, I totally agree with you ashes on the fire would have been a great choice for that scene
The Warhammer Titan's theme would have also worked in the Decleration of War scene, the only really problem with using it is that it made Eren transforming not that suprising since would be expecting it once we hear the music.
@@AnDrei-nf5jb To be fair tho I think it was pretty obvious regardless of the music choice that eren was gonna transform lol. I was fine with the ost used but the warhammer theme wouldve been cool
@@nathanwidener9006 Eren kinda looked like he was gonn helped Reiner for a moment before he took a 180° turn. But yeah the Warhammer theme or 2lives (the one played in the ep) fits better then Youseebiggirl to be honest.
@@randompotato7932 ashes on the fire I feel is more associated with Marley, having it play for Eren AGAINST Marley just doesn’t fit, whereas 2volt works because it was used in S3 when Levi severely overpowered Zeke, so it’s already been used prominently for 1 Paradis victory before. Eren did fuck up Marley pretty bad tbh, which reflects how 2volt was used in the first Levi vs Beast Titan.
It's good, but saying in the title "better ost" it's quite debatable.
The orginal one is already a masterpiece!
Well, the soundtrack used in anime is my favorite of the show so I think I prefer Mappa for this scene. But this one is very interesting
Your version was interesting but to be honest I still prefer Mappa's
Idk, even though it was unexpected it still fitted good in my opinion
Nah, Kenny's theme was a hella cool option for me
I found the actual ost that they used for this scene better. Its way stronger and just awesome and it sells the scene a lot more. This ost is still cool but I don't think it works with this scene in the saw way that the other one did. The ost you choose is a bit more ominous and mysterious and it just doesn't fit for me. still cool video.
This definitely fits a lot better. Mappa's choice for ost wasn't terrible but it focuses on the wrong aspect of the scene. Imo, this scene should be more sombre than "badass" because if what Levi had to fo to his teammates, but the ost they chose didn't depict that; this fan chose ost however, does depict that sombre feelin! So well done on that!
Also if it isn't too much trouble, it would be great if ya could edit the original a little more to get rid of the original ost used as much as possible? But if not, it's fine. Still really like the video!
mappa used the Kenny theme, and this is perfect regarding it, also it's not a fight but a massacre, the original comes from Levi's origins and sacrifices, so it fits both
Mappa didn't changed sound director tho...
@@deblxdee i'm not sayin they did
I prefer the original.
When you hear the Apetitan Theme you not only directly think of Zeke, but as soon as the strings hit, you start thinking of Erwin.
Then K21 comes and this will remind you of Kenny.
So there you have them. All the guys that influenced Levi's life the most.
You have Kenny, who raised Levi, Erwin, who took him into the scouts and gave meaning to his life and you have Zeke, who killed him.
The original ost encapsulates who Levi as a person is and I still think it is actually one of the best ost choices they made.
@@nicopetri3533 why does kenny matter in this situation again? Huh?
This fits so much better, both are good, but this is one is the canon one for me. Good job
I liked them using K21 in the Levi VS Zeke fight. Made me more hyped than I thought I would've been, actually
eh, "K21" is better. this ost sounds way too elegant & heroic. besides they already use this ost for Levi vs Zeke 1 in S3. this fight is supposed to be ruthless and fast paced that it catches you offguard... like "K21". I swear AOT has some of the whiniest fanbase ever. they won't settle for anything less than "perfect" in their all-knowing eyes & ears.
True , weight of lives is more of an ost to survive and fight with ur comrades , for the loss of ur team mates something like your call your name or apetitan would fit a lil better
But they used ape titan when he fought his teammates
@@SpectraPhantom i was using it as an example but personally i feel like weight of lives is a song for fighting the apetitan with your comrades while this was only a levi solo fight
0:28 the music drops at Levi’s arrival this is what I was looking for, the same whopping he gave him in season 3 but even worse, and with this ost, it’s an even better masterpiece
tbh tho I've always loved the more rock and hip hop inserts in aot i think it fits for moments like this. i think it shows levi's resolve in the original, he was forced to kill his comrades but he always comes out strong because that's who he is. but this is also a cool more dramatic version tying back to his first encounter with the beast titan. but i think it makes sense to have the music more light too because he already has done it multiple times, at this point it's just another mandatory take down of zeke he knows he's going to win
I thought this was a meme. Cuz every high expectation scenes in final season are ruined by 2Volt lol.
Flashbacks from the Declaration of war
2Volt?
@@CTRen The song they played during the declaration of war. It fit really well imo.
@@jerg4n159 yes it fits really well

I thought the same! I had to look up the actual scene for the same reason. I guess we may have both been shocked by the actions that took place. Levi's reflecting scene may have also been that reason too
“Better ost” y’all
lmao
I hated the rapping part in the original ost
Hi! I like the change, my brother and I did a similar edition for the declaration of war scene, I'm going to convince him to upload the video on youtube so I can put the link down here! As you said, there are some OST that fits better, maybe they are already used but if we put it in that way, all the OST of AOT from S1 to S3 is very repetitive, and it doesn't bother at all.
This version is amazing and epic but original is amazing too and god damn badass. Levi is badass and rep showing it very well. That's why i love both original and this
bro I just found your channel and I have watched all videos and I like your job, keep going
Bro. This was fire honestly but AOT is so known about building up the emotions and intensity of scenes through the BG music. Like how Reiner and Bertholdt reveal and Eren's transformation in Liberio was giving a calm to an outrage mood.
Okay now this was amazing!! Great work!!
This gave me nostalgia because the OST sounded like a Shadow Fight 2 Theme..
EPIC, how did you remove the ost from the episode ?
If you listen closely you can still hear it. He just managed to make it a lot quiter which is actually really hard to do.
he didnt .d
To this day, I still worry about this, I could have removed the original music, but I was in a hurry to publish the video on the channel faster. My greed has ruined me)))
I honestly prefer the original, this just sounds like there's too much going on, its distracting, nice work tho

I remember when they used 2Volt for Levi vs Zeke in season 3 the fans lost their shit because "it was a bad music choice", now they used a soundtrack which suits the direction perfectly and the fans are like "ohno why didn't you use 2Volt". Fucking bitchass fandom crying over everything. (fyi, the OST used during Eren's transformation was The weight of Lives, which played during Eren and Reiner's first fight)

i liked it lol it also fitted because its the same from the kenny fight, it wasnt supposed to be emotional tbh
i like the original better because you an accually hear them and i think we are meant to hear them
Ok, as with most fanmade content, the original by a studio is far better. I just came to admire how OST almost completely determines the tone- this sounds so sad and vengeful but the actual version gives a completely different (not necessarily worse/better) vibe.
Nah, Kenny's OST was badass af for this sequence, I definitely like the original better. Nice effort here tho.
You trippin, K21 made the whole sequence way more badass
the original ost makes you much hyper for the fight
While I personally wouldn't have picked this OST, people's argument as to why K21 fit better thematically unironically makes me wish the world would end.
Yeah K21 is super badass and cool and hella lit fam but it doesn't fit the fight in the fucking slightest.
So, what's the parallels between Levi and Kenny? Both think violence and being the strongest is the answer to pretty much everything. Levi was groomed by Kenny and that's why he thinks this way. That is where the parallels stop.
Kenny (and his theme) is all about the joy of the fight, having a good time while killing others. He revels in it, he *loves* the excitement and adrenaline rushing through his veins. Watch the scenes again whenever he enters the fight - he is literally a rootin', tootin', cowboy shootin' madman who likes to fight. That's it.
Now, this scene: Levi just had to massacre almost 30 of his subordinates because Zeke fucked them over. Levi has always been grief-stricken, most importantly after having to give up Erwin, so I am inclined to believe that the toll of his burden has only grown since then. His entire motif is "Yes, you are the strongest but you cannot protect most of your men" which gives him way more depth than people want to give him credit for. Levi is *not* having a good time killing (see end of S2 "I jumped around all this time to kill *humans* ?"), especially not if those titans are your friends and subordinates.
Having someone with the burden of being the sole survivor (and perhaps survivor's guilt) fight his arch-nemesis who not only just turned 30 of your men into titans but also killed your commander and friend (on top of the recruits) is *not* the right leitmotif for "YEEEHAW, KENNY'S THEME!". It's fucking tragic, sad, maddening and Levi almost closing his eyes, silently wishing his comrades goodbye, before he slices them up should be *the* indicator why the subsequent fight is not thematically adequate for K21 or any other positive theme.
The arguments here are so shallow that the only point being made is "sounded badass, hell yeah brother!", completely disregarding the context and motif of both the OST and the scene that is plays in.
Only thing more out of touch would have been some soft jazz playing while Zeke gets blown to pieces. Holy fuck you people make me mad.
