@b1bbscraz3y The is the most insane take ever. Kankuro is the strongest puppetier in the hidden sand, after granny chyio dies and Temari is a jounin by the time shippuden started and was second strongest wind style user in the allience. She is much more than just Shikamaru's wife. Please, put some respect to her name.
The first point you looked at is actually 100% valid for more casual viewers. Naruto was my first anime and I was so confused when filler characters didn't come back later. Like how there were seemingly 5 different 9 tails Jinchuriki by the end of the show (granted, there were basically 4 in canon anyway).
I think I’m always going to be a bit confused by of the death of hashirama. My understanding is he was killed, and that implies shinobi strong enough to have seriously influenced events during Naruto and shippuden that I don’t quite see
I get why you guys got confused, but I never really got confused when characters never showed up again. I just saw Naruto like a regular cartoon like Adventure Time, Ben 10, or a fellow anime like Pokémon and sometimes those shows would have episodes and arcs happen that would never get revisited down the line.
Hiruzen also had Asuma who was his own son. I always wondered why he didn't adopt Naruto and raise him in his own house with an elder brother Asuma keeping an eye on him. It might not have been the best home but it would have been a home with people who at least cared about him.
@@jamiecarr8143 Thats the issue, the writer wrote himself into that situation. He shouldn't have had Minato tell Hiruzen that and left it that Hiruzen looked after Naruto of his own will and thus he wasn't super attentive.
@@jamiecarr8143 by not having written the main character to be without guardianship in the first place. Or. By not writing that a character agrees to take care of the boy after the story makes it appear he has been without guardianship/ guidance outside of living in a village.
@@TheLastSane1 yeah hiruzen didn’t even need to say anything in that scene he could’ve just taken the baby, but I think hiruzen did a good job and even naruto thanks grampa third, ultimately hiruzen passed the will of fire onto the konoha 13 and helped naruto not turn into gaara, or throw Naruto in prison which is standard practice for jinchuriki
If the fukin leaf elders can still be alive during Boruto then Hashirama could still be alive during Naruto, plus, little known fact, Hashirama has Hashirama cells
Not saying you're wrong, cause you're not, but the leaf elders only had to survive 15 years as opossum to 50 and they didn't have Chakra sickness. Yes Chakra sickness was stupid, should have been explained more, or just taken out but if it was like an automatic Myotic regen then it would have shortened his life every time he took any damage, and he took a lot.
that seems to be how things work even in our world. many evil people live long lives while the good ones parish. I don't know if the other 2 elders are bad but at least Danzo lived a long time and was evil
@@b1bbscraz3y I wouldn't say they're evil but they're clearly presenting a far greater antagonistic force in Boruto for the village than they ever have in Naruto. Between Shikamaru being a genius, acting hokage, as well as Sasuke having trusted Sarada enough to fight his mental reprogramming from Omnipotence. Between those two, they should be giving Boruto more of a break than they are over the whole fugitive thing. I get they think he killed Naruto, but one there are clear resemblances despite Omnipotence. Two, they have no actual proof Naruto and Hinata are dead or that Boruto is the actual culprit of that. Three, the reluctance of Shikamaru to proceed as a vengeance hungry idiot like the majority of them and Sasuke trusting Sarada and outright defending him and training him after Omnipotence took effect. Which leads to the final point that, Sarada has been advocating for his innocence since the beginning. Between all these facts, the elders should be leaning more on innocent until proven guilty, but they seem full steam ahead with executing him at the end of the day regardless of fact, logic, or common sense. That's like the complete antithesis to their role as the village elders whose job it is to make sure that the leadership of the village aren't making rash or foolish decisions. Making their own decisions regarding events and leadership to make sure the overwhelming good of the village is served best. And despite what Omnipotence has programmed them to believe, all events that have taken place and are currently unfolding in Boruto point to him being a powerful ally and they still want to lock him up and keep him defenseless and useless outside of information they wouldn't believe or be capable of accepting because of Omnipotence and the sheer overwhelming mystery of the things he knows about the 10 tails, ohtsosuki, and things that basically equate to multi-versal, higher dimensional knowledge ordinary people would think as complete fiction or outright madness. So, tl;Dr, the elders aren't evil but ARE being stereotypical government assholes who think they know better and just want everyone to believe what they believe. Categorically, completely and wholly unhelpful in any meaningful way whatsoever.
Why is the Kakashi one even on that list? Its been established that he is late because he is always at Rin grave and reminiscing to the point where he is always late. Then he makes up a lie like the one about the black cat and that he had to take a different route in OG Naruto...smh
I also don't really understand that criticism. The whole point was that he respected Obito's ideals about the importance of following the rules. It is actually brilliant and subtle writing by Kishimoto.
Ngl, if i have to guess its probably because he assumed Kishimoto "George Lucas'd" it, retroactively changing the meaning of a piece of a character's personality/event into something more grandeur and impactful even though its not planned from the start, or in Kakashi's case him always constantly being late
at some point even if that was the reason a rational person would start incorporating that additional time into the time it takes to leave and get to the place they need to be, so they aren't late anymore. like if you go to work at 8 and there's always a train at 8 that would make you late you would start leaving at 7:30 or something
Yeah that was a weird mistake. I could see mixing up who’s older between Kankuro and Temari, but they make such a big deal so many times in the chunin arc how young Gaara is.
Gaara isn't the oldest sibling, he's the youngest. Their mother died giving birth to him, Kankaro and Temari wouldn't have been born if that was the case
He must really not know that their mother died giving birth to Gaara, cus during his recent rewatch of the show, he saw a picture online of the sand siblings, when Gaara was like 5, with their uncle, (that Gaara eventually kills), and said that's their mother 🤦♂ Like, I get they look alike, but for someone claiming to be "the best Naruto fan on earth" to not know that the first and last time that woman got to see Gaara was the day he was born is crazy to me Was also funny af to me that he was looking for pictures online of the uncle, and came across this one, but dismissed it as it being the mother with the sand siblings 😆
Another huge point to sakura's character is that she is a reflection of the people of the village. Sakura ain't a reincarnated demigod or a legendary sage or even a historic family, She's a normal person and from the start of the series establishes that she has the same views of naruto as the entire village does. As the series progresses she goes from rejecting him to accepting his help to asking for his help to saving him and standing at his side to fight. She represents how the village's view of Naruto changed overtime. in addition to her own interesting character arc and development. Nick, the other day on your rewatching naruto series you asked if she does less of the "CHA!" stuff later on than in the start. Yes she does! Those moments were always seen as what she REALLY thought, and later after the time skip she has developed enough confidence to voice that outloud. She became the Cha
10:33 Naruto is stupid for being devoted to Sasuke too. However, there is SOME leeway with Naruto, because where as Sakura was a dumb, normal girl who was infatuated with a lame edgy kid, Naruto literally had no family, and Sasuke was basically the only person he felt truly knew what he was going through. Sakura literally has no reason, in the manga or anime, to be that devoted to Sasuke. It’s also really weird to compare the pushing of your physical limits that anime presents to pushing the limits of crazed, unrequited love Also, it dosent help that the fixation on Sasuke ACTUALLY DOES advance Narutos character arc and the story, where as Sakuras fixation dosent, outside of the single time she tried to kill him and couldn’t even go through with it
@@xStrife1997xYup, you really see it when Sasuke put his arm through his chest and was angry he didn't die. You can't call Sakura absurd and not Naruto. Its the same. Sasuke shared the same thin "family like" appreciation for both but was willing to kill BOTH for his goals.
@@ohhdee2lit She's arguably like a low kage level of strength but yeah gaara is way stronger than what I call low kage level, and strength is important for being a kazekage
@@pharaohkai1 I'd say Shikamaru would have to move to the sand village, but he also became the Kage of the leaf now. Come to thin about it, now's Temari's best chance to go to the Sand, to become the Kage there, Especially with Gaara currently out of commission
@@pharaohkai1Why would she, as the Kazikage, move to the leaf village if she has no relationship with the hidden leaf other than being its ally? In this hypothetical, she would've been the Kazikage at the same time as Gara was in the original version. This means that she, being the Kazikage, wouldn't have been on assignments that crossed paths with Shikamaru like it did in the original. By hardly having any contact with each other, they wouldn't have had a romantic relationship. Being the Kazikage would also result with the Sand Village elders "forcing" her to marry someone from their own village. In conclusion, it wouldn't have made any sense for Temari to move to the leaf village if she was the Kazikage instead of Gara.
“Being powerful is a male coded way of assigning importance, women don’t need to be powerful to be important” is something everyone needs to hear and understand

@@b1bbscraz3yThe original post is correct in that, that is how the reality of the stories work. The first response is correct in that, that shouldn’t be the reality of how these stories work because that’s not indicative of reality. And the other comment demonstrates how it could’ve been written differently.
Poor Jenny probably had guidelines they had to follow. On one hand I feel like being a small article writer *could* be fun, on the other hand oof sometimes your boss makes you poke a hornets nest because site needs clicks and ad revenue. Always use a writing alias folks! 📝 It’s cool that people are still writing articles about Shippuden though!
One of my friends used to write these list like articles for a website in the technical field. His boss would send him a topic and ask him to write 15 things about this or that. Most of the topics are things unrelated to his primary area of expertise or interest and he writes the article mostly by doing research over the internet for a couple of hours.
Danzo not taking the 5th Hokage spot kinda makes sense at the time because Jiraya, Tsunade, Kakashi, Guy even Asuma were all still alive in fighting shape that they'd probably reject his claim to it. Not to mention Itachi would probably come give Danzo another reminder since he didn't have to worry about Sasuke being able to kill him at that point
Gaara bonding with and admiring Naruto after Naruto treated him like a person and showed him strength comes from protecting others is the core lesson and story of the very first episode and chapter of Naruto. Iruka had always been a teacher to Naruto and essentially nothing else until the moment iruka defends naruto physically by putting his life on the line to protect naruto showing naruto the strength that a rusty ninja can pull up from the depths of his being to protect a helpless student. Then when iruka accepts and defending naruto from the hatred the other ninja feels for naruto for the first time ever naruto pulls up an immense amount of strength to protect iruka from a ninja that naruto should have had absolutely no chance of beating. Gaara learning the lesson naruto learned shows amazing character development for gaara but naruto recognizing the change in gaara and accepting gaara as a true friend and then going on to save gaara with the singular focus he does during the kazekage retrieval arc is some of the absolute greatest writing on this planet. I’ll die on this hill and fight anyone who tries to say otherwise because it’s one of the few times kishimoto tells a story without telling it blatantly. Which it does get explained by Sakura explaining it to granny chiho a few episodes later but still. Exemplary writing
The one about Naruto and Sasuke’s fight is wild. Like of course they ended in a fight, that was a massive part of their dynamic since the start. Naruto was the failure reject and Sasuke was the beloved prodigy, so Naruto was always wanting to fight and challenge Sasuke to prove he was better than everyone though, and Sasuke was always wanting to beat Naruto because he believed Naruto was beneath him and Sasuke always wanted to be the best so he could avenge his clan, but seeing someone he believed was beneath him catch up made Sasuke insecure about his own strength. And there is a really good reason as to why they couldn’t just sit down and talk, and that’s because a battle has hard physical evidence of who is better, especially a fight to the death. Whoever killed the other was definitively the strongest and better than the other because they were the last one standing, that would be physical and real evidence to back that point up. Sasuke and Naruto’s rivalry was based in physical ideas and strength for a long time, not just philosophical ideas. And the author stating that it “reinforces that boys have to fight” is insane considering that like two weeks before this Naruto and Nagato TALKED OUT THEIR DIFFERENCES!!! Sure there was fighting but Nagato wasn’t beaten or killed by fighting, it was by talking. He and Naruto talked out their differences, so saying that Naruto just reinforces that boys have to fight things out is dishonest as you’re avoiding Nagato and Naruto. And it even happens more than that, with Naruto and Neji, Naruto and Gaara, and Neji and Hiashi. Yes those first two had fights but they were just the circumstances of the conversation. Naruto and Neji had a debate about being born genius, and the fight was Naruto’s physical evidence that Neji experienced that proved Naruto’s point. Similar thing with Gaara. And Neji and Hiashi talking out their differences is just talking. You could even say Kabuto had his differences talked out through Izanami as it wasn’t physical violence through which he changed. For every disagreement solved through a fight there is another disagreement solved through communication, so saying that Naruto reinforces “masculine stereotypes of boys have to fight it out to understand each other” is just ridiculous and pointlessly gendered, as a very similar thing could be said about Ino and Sakura, so it’s just injecting gender into something where gender has no reason to be, and then being dishonest about the thing as well and just ignoring evidence and examples that disprove it.
Tl;Dr Author reduces & misrepresents media by using strawman arguments, and needlessly adds(false) gender stereotypes/attributes to gaslight their readers into believing a talking point that doesn't exist.
10:11 & 30:55 When I first watched/read naruto, sakura and naruto's devotion to sasuke was really difficult to connect to. While it makes more sense on rewatches/rereads, it does feel like there's a bonding arc missing between the land of waves and the chunin exams arcs. It makes sense considering the manga needed a boost in popularity so they went straight into the exam-type competition arc that was popular at the time thanks to the hunter exams arc in hunter x hunter. Maybe if we did get that extra arc in-between the manga would've been cancelled, so it's hard to measure if this situation is a blessing or a curse.
One thing that always bugged me is how Rin managed to get between Kakashi and dude he was trying to perform surgery at with his raikiri. Either she was hiding her power level the whole time and was actually really faster than Kakashi could react even with sharingan or she was literally next to them.
I agree with the article when it comes to Madara using his sharingan abilities(Susano) without his eyes, while not being able to use his rinnegan abilities without his eyes. IF we went with the argument that “he unlocked it so he can inherently use it” it defeats the purpose of him fighting to reclaim his rinnegan.
Madara said "The power of the rinnegan is amplified by a true user, and also when both eyes are together" This means there is still inherent value in physically retrieving them, especially both of them. Also- madara absorbs sasukes amaterasu while having no eyes. There is NO CANON EXPLANATION possible EXCEPT that it was pretax path from the rinnegan. Madara is never stated to have any other ability that absorbs ninjutsu, but we know from him absorbing rasenshuriken as an Ego that he has preta path. 2+2=4... if madras has rinnegan, and eye powers are STRONGER but not not necessarily required to use the physical eyes... then it makes sense Madara can use preta path without physical rinnegan, and it is technically consistent with him using susanoo. Thus he has both reason to reclaim the eyes AND justification for being able to use eye powers (Technically, WITH the assumption eye powers are unlocked forever) Long comment but I have one more example for you... Obito unlocked both Kamui abilities (long range teleportation and self intangibility) and Kakashi only ever had long range Kamui (Eventually learning he can use it on himself too at close range but still never intangible) This is because obito is the uchiha who unlocked the chakra for the abilities even if his second eye was gone from him, but Kakashi only can access the chakra inside the borrowed eye. this is ALSO why Akashi loses kamui forever after losing his sharingan. This is ALSO why Obito can temporarily imbue him with the unlocked susanoo (The same way itachi temporarily imbued sasuke with amaterasu) Obito unlocked both MS abilities by awakening the chakra, Kakashi only got one, and Obito proved he can unlock them for someone else, while kakashi proved he can't maintain the unlocked powers without the physical eyes.... so eye powers are unlocked for the original wielder, but stronger with the actual eyes intact. Thus madras using MS and rinnegan... is contrived as **** but definitely consistent.
Kakashi was a lax teacher. Waiting till they were in the middle of a dangerous mission outside the village to teach tree walking and other basic skills instead of in the village earlier.
It was simple escort mission ranked C or D, because the customer omitted important information which would given it a higher difficulty of A rank that would've been assigned to a more experienced group not a bunch of genin.
Y-you do know it WASN’T a dangerous mission right? Tazuna lied to them and Kakashi taught them the techniques almost immediately after the first run in with Haku and Zabuza upon learning that it WAS actually a dangerous mission; even after Zabuzas supposed death.
2:15 to be clear, when you're a casual enjoyer and don't know about filler, It can be very confusing. The first time I watched Naruto I was extremely confused why some story beat never came back, until I started reading the manga and learned what filler was. (That was back when Naruto was running on the TV
Exactly what I was thinking Naruto was my first anime and at the time when I watched it didn't know there was a manga so a lot of the stuff did get confusing
I get why you guys got confused, but I never really got confused when characters never showed up again. I just saw Naruto like a regular cartoon like Adventure Time, Ben 10, or a fellow anime like Pokémon and sometimes those shows would have episodes and arcs happen that would never get revisited down the line.
I thought the Kakashi one would be different. My take: Kakashi is actually a mid teacher, arguablly bad in OG. (TLDR at the end) Dont get me wrong Kakashi, has a lot of excuses. He came from the anbu, his trauma, and 2 of his students were orphans and the other is a non-clan. But excuses or not he still wasnt the best. In early Naruto we can all agree that he had a favorite student. It makes sense that he'd focus on Sasuke, cuz theyre alike, but he stunted the growth of his other 2 students. After he taught them to climb trees, that was it. Naruto literally begged him to teach him and he made Ebisu do it, but ill give him a very slight pass cuz Naruto did need more rudimentary training, which for his benefit we'll say he wasnt proficient in. I'm also of the opinion this was what Jiraiya spent all his time training Naruto on between shows, teaching him to think and fundamentals he didnt know but shouldve. Sakura on the other hand is another thing. Sakura went into the CHUNIN EXAMS, with Kakashi's recommendation, and the only justu she knew was the fucking clone technique, the one you have to do to graduate the academy. I can give Kakashi all the excuses in the world but thats damning, that he essentially taught them one thing and nothing else. And for Sakura not having a clan at all, nor a scroll she stole lol, she needed it most. So he left to teach Sasuke, pawned off Naruto, and Sakura got jack shit cuz he forgot about her 😂 Even then some have argued he outsourced his teaching too much, as Sasuke was the only one he actually taught. Everytime the other two needed to be taught something he called in someone else for help. Im not saying he never helped at all, or in shippuden it made sense, or there wasnt some level or personal choice with Sakura for instance, just pointing it out. Cuz hes the only sensei whos students were majority taught by others. Sakura -Tsunade, and Naruto - Ebisu, Asuma, and Jiraiya, hell even though it wasnt intentional Sasuke with Orochimaru lol. If he was gonna pawn off his students he couldve done it purposefully by sending Sakura to Kurenai, cuz Sakura was shown multiple times to have huge potential for Genjutsu and Chakra control. I also wont be holding him not stopping Sasuke againt him. He tried, i think he shouldve pushed a little more, but emotional intelligence is not an easy jutsu to master 😂 Tldr: Kakashi pretty much only taught Sasuke. After the tree climbing he basically did nothing for the other 2. He recommended Sakura for the Chunin exams when all she knew is the *academy* graduation Clone technique, and outsourced Naruto so he could teach Sasuke. He's the only sensei who students were all taught by someone else, and if he was going to do that he shouldve sent Sakura to study under Kurenai like he did Naruto to Ebisu, but he just didnt think about her. If anyone reads this, i say this with love. Kakashi is amazing, and Naruto is my favorite media franchise despite its flaws. So dont come at me sideways defending Kakashi as if I hate the show or dont know what im talking about.
I don’t think he has to react to every episode like he is doing for the manga canon episodes but I think he should do a video for each filler arc. I would be especially interested if he reviewed the 3 Tails arc.
33:38 "Did you know, Naruto... Top class ninja should be able to read each other's hearts simply by an exchange of fists. Even without saying anything..." - Sasuke in the final valley first fight This is literally the reason why Naruto is one of, if not the best fighting anime. The fights in the show holds so much meaning to it, it's full of emotion, their ideals, resolve, etc. The story is literally saying the characters are clashing with their hearts via these awesome fight scenes we get to enjoy.🫠🥴
Gotta immediately disagree @2:20. A lot of newcomers don't even know what "filler" is, they'll just get recommended a show and start to watch it. Especially if they don't have the background for anime they'll probably even assume that is the original media (won't know about manga). So people can ABSOLUTELY get confused if filler is not consistent. Not saying it always happens (for the biggest part of the community it doesn't), but it does happen especially to first timers or kids.
I think the reason why Danzo didn't become Hokage was because the other "leaders" didn't vote for him to become one (like how kakashi almost became hokage when tsunade was in a coma i think?) instead, they wanted Jiraya to become the hokage because of his accomplishments but he rejected the offer and passed it down to Tsunade, so Danzo just plays it out until he gets the chance to take over, at least that's how i look at it
CBR criticized the biggest, most exceptional part of what makes Naruto a special person as unrealistic. They don't realize that that was the entire point. Naruto was exceptional. No wonder people shit on them for this. Lol.
it still doesn't logically make sense because being late became a regular thing a rational person would start to leave early to do that first then get to their destination on time. if he leaves at 8 and going to the grave takes 15 additional minutes, you would eventually start to leave 15 minutes earlier to get to the final place on time. it's a retcon
@@b1bbscraz3ythis was explained during the 3rd hokage’s funeral. He was asked why he doesn’t get there earlier. He said he does but he’s still late. Doesn’t matter how early he gets there, he has trouble leaving the grave to the point he is late. It’s not a matter of time, it’s more a matter of not wanting to leave
@@erikperez8885 then leave the house hours earlier then. no amount of trying to make it make sense will actually make it logical. you have responsibilities to be places. in the real world if this was the reason someone was late for work and it happens over and over, they get fired. they're just lucky they never wrote anything where Kakashi being late caused someone to die, but it very well could, logically speaking. I'm guessing he's only ever late for things that aren't important, which is their way of an easy out for this entire "always late" concept being a thing in the first place
@ it’s not a logical thing it’s an emotional thing. He’s never insanely late for anything important so it’s really not that big of a deal. Its not an easy out because him being late isn’t even a big plot point. They definitely arnt gunna fire kakashi because he too valuable. Idk why your so passionate about this anyways, characters arnt always gunna behave in the most logical way, especially not in anime.
sadly most "plot holes" in anime are just misconceptions caused by a lack of understanding of the source material. as eichira oda said "It's a matter of reading comprehension"
The reason Naruto gets a pass for being so devoted to Sasuke is he at least has other goals and interests. Being Hokage and Loving Ramen, Sakura has Ino as a Rival over Sasuke and sympathy for Rock Lee but her main drive is always Sasuke. At least in the anime,
With all due respect, Naruto's love for Sakura makes a lot more sense than Sakura's love for Sasuke. But one by one. Sakura has loved Sasuke since the beginning of the academy because he was "that type", a cool, mysterious guy that all the girls in class were attracted to. Among all these other girls, Ino should be singled out - Sakura's best friend, who also loves Sasuke for the same reason. The girls have been friends for a long time, probably longer than they are attracted to Sasuke. Because of Sasuke, their friendship ends (at least for a while). Later, Team 7 is formed, but Sasuke's attitude towards Sakura does not change. Sakura seems to show concern several times, but Sasuke doesn't care. At the very end of series 1, he hurts her even more by leaving the village. The entirety of Shippuden is basically Sakura being hurt even more by Sasuke in practically every encounter they have. Sasuke focuses more on revenge on his brother, revenge on the leaf village or rivalry with Naruto than on her. Sakura pissed him off so much that he tried to kill her, and during the fight with Kaguya, he left her and Kakashi to fall into the lava. The end of Shippuden is when Sasuke leaves again (for a few years?), hurts Sakura and says "maybe next time". On the other side we have Naruto, who is no different from Sakura at first. He loves Sakura because he liked her and that's it. At the very beginning, it hurt him a lot when he pretended to be Sasuke. However, their relationship changes quickly and at the beginning of series 1, Sakura is one of the first people to accept Naruto (along with Saduke and Kakashi). (Okay, in The Last it was shown that Hinata was the first person other than Hiruzen to reach out to him. But so what if she was silent later and was ashamed to speak to him anyway.) Gradually, in the first series, we see the development of their relationship, where Sakura understands Naruto better and better, and he also cares about her, defending her several times. At the end of the series, it is for Sakura that Naruto changes his goal - from becoming Hokage, to bringing Sasuke back to the village first. The entire second series is the development of their relationship, this time we see Sakura's concern for Naruto more often (especially when he transforms). Naruto often saves Sakura. Sakura knows she can count on him because he doesn't let her down. However, at some point, Sakura hurts Naruto by saying "I love you" so that he will abandon his word - to bring Sasuke home, because she sees that Naruto is still suffering because of it. However, the blonde doesn't really care about it and quickly returns to his goal. In the end, he fulfills his word to Sakura. As we can see, both feelings are the same at first, but they evolve differently. The Sasuke-Sakura relationship is masochistic, Sasuke ignores and hurts her more and more, and she loves him more and more. The Naruto-Sakura relationship is based on mutual care and trust, although there are difficult moments there as well. In the latter we see changes on both sides, this relationship is less toxic and based on something sensible.

@___________0Z0X Come on, they had other friends. I wonder what happened to Minato other teamates? And Kushina teamates? If Tsunade was in the village, she would've taken Naruto in. She is his closest living relative, since Tsunade's grandmother was Mito Uzumaki.
@@taylordesouza7 I guess they weren't Close enough with anyone else. They were extremely close with Jiraya, to the point where they were going to name their son after the main character from his book.
I do want to say as an intermediate fan of naruto I really do appriciate how much thought there was of these 15 things though. it's not fully just clickbate superficial things. I don't think the writer understood everything the way we do and the intracacies of all of the lore, but they really REALLY did attempt to understand and put points together at least that's how i feel. there was a lot more understanding and a lot of details they tried to juggle with than other stereotyical superficial takes on naruto. also about the naruto and the hate and the will of fire, you're 100% right. not everyone adheres the ideals because they're just ideals. they're not laws and rules. Japanese people have a saying "the nail that sticks up will be hammered down" those who do not conform are hammered back in line, back into place. and when that mentality is focused negatively on someone it does not matter who that person is. one of the most powerful and honoured ninjas, Sakumo Hatake, konoha's White Fang, saved his teammates lives and went against the expectations of a cruel konoha was driven to uncap himself by konoha's full society! turning on a tiny kid with a literal living nuke in his body is not that farfetched when we know how terrible konoha has actually been to those who they deem unwanted. as for gaara's take. yes, i agree with you abuot the whole needing to mature and having only 1 other dood in the entirety of his what 15 years he's been living as a weapon, he finally has someone who understood him? ON TOP OF THAT he never knew when shukaku would bust out so he more or less had 15 freaking years of absolutely ZERO SLEEP. ON TOP OF THE emotional mental bs he had to live with. AND THEN ON TOP OF THAT he made peace and at some level became friends with shukaku!!! that's like 3 enormesly completely PERSONAILTY CHANING EVENTS that happened to this teenager. his 180 is unbelievably 100% understandable.
I always assumed the leaf just never made has his death super known to prevent being attacked upon his death.... Like real life countries have done that and we don't have magic powers😅
My gripe with Tobirama is not breaking free, which kinda counters your mentioning Orochimaru had full control is the Anime showed Orochimaru putting the tags inside Hashirama and Tobirama after he revived them causing their bodies to smoke and gain more color.
probably the same way itachi and kimimaro did Plot enforced OP disease... I had the idea that people from certain clans can have "too strong chakra", so much that it consumes their life force in some manner. Kimimaro was from the KAGUYA clan, and has such strong chakra and life-force he could do... that. His body simply couldn't handle it. And itachi? Such strong chakra and his body couldn't handle it- generally i think you'd need to be india's incarnate to handle such immense power without it deteriorating your body. Hashirama? That life-force likely came with a cost... life span. Tsunade is said to reduce her lifespan every time she uses mitotic regeneration, and uzumakis (and Jinchuuriki) are said to do the same when they use their healing abilities (orochimaru said that), so perhaps Hashiram has such strong chakra and life force that it had irreparable effects on his body and lifespan. Healing does not mean extra lifespan in naruto, it is actually the exact opposite, so it makes sense that hashi would run his life out way faster than normal.
See, my biggest thing is they’ve stated and SHOWN over and over that the use of visual jutsu requires the actual physical eyeball. Anytime Amaterasu was used, enemies can sense a chakra build-up in that specific eye. When Kakashi uses Kamui, he has to gather chakra in the eye to use the ability. Then it was stated that wielders of double Mangekyou automatically unlock Susano. It was never stated/clarified they get Susano forever. But Obito only had one Mangekyou the entire series, which would make perfect sense as to why Kakashi or Obito never used Susano. Madara using ANY Mangekyou abilities, not only without having the Mangekyou Sharingan, but with having no physical eyes whatsoever, makes it a HUGE plot hole. Also a side note, Madara was surprised by the physical speed of the Raikage. Not being physically fast enough to completely outmaneuver the Raikage. But at least fast enough to somewhat react to the speed. Yet, Madara outmaneuvered Sage Naruto? War arc Madara was given so much plot armor, it’s ridiculous.
Nick I have a question about Naruto I’ve never seen asked or answered. Did Naruto Sakura and kakashi keep quiet about what happened after the war with Sasuke. I don’t see the other kages willing to let him go if they known he was going to kill them if he had defeated Naruto. I always wondered if they knew, like I’m sure Tsunade possibly knew but the raikage especially wouldn’t have let him walk if he had known
I remember the time when we had to wait weekly for new Naruto episodes, how much I hated it when I found out the first filler saga with The Blue Bird opening. "WHERE'S THE ASUMA ARC?! KISHIMOTO YOU LAZY %$&*!" Still, never watched those arcs. Still, one of the best decisions I ever made in my life.
Hey, i have a fun theory right here, that there is a similarity between konoha and a certain country (Indonesia).. fr.. hear me out.. 1st hokage is a war hero who is charismatic and try to unite all the clan 1st president is also a war hero who is charismatic and try to unite democrats and commies during his reign 2nd hokage is a genius military commander who hate uciha's to the bone and setup many basic infrastructure for konoha 2nd president is also a genius military commander who hate commies to the bone, and eradicate them, he also set up many basic infrastructure for Indonesia to develop 3rd hokage is a genius who master many of jutsu in konoha 3rd president is also a genius professor who made the Indonesian air force create its own airplanes 4th hokage sacrifice himself to protect konoha from kyuubi attack 4th president sacrifice his reign by resigning to save indonesian stability 5th hokage take the reign of hokage during konoha instability of power who is also first hokage grandchild 5th president is taking reign during instability of indonesian politics and also the grandchild of the 1st president 6th hokage is ex anbu root and has a deep military background and also ex commander of 5th great ninja war 6th president is a ex military army, ex ranger, ex military commander 7th hokage is the war hero, close to people, and the one who bring changes and level up konoha into the modern world 7th president is also a kind of hero, who close into people heart and the one who bring changes into indonesia to further it development 8th hokage is a close friend of the 7th hokage who is a great strategist and military commander and the one who will continue the 7th hokage vision into the future 8th president is a close friend to 7th president, he is tasked by 7th president to be a ministry of defense and he was a great military commander
I really like her too! I think everyones issue is that Madara was the strongest and then even though he was never fully beaten, they added an even stronger character out of nowhere. But I love the Otsutsuki and kaguya is one of the coolest among them in my opinion. Probably Kaguya, Momo, Toneri in that order
@HonestlyApollo everyone acts so surprised but we saw every akatsuki members motivations and goals, saw them all fight and die one by one except zetsu who was just always watching and plotting. Clearly he had a secret agenda then boom. He causes the biggest problem
It’s just a poor reveal There isn’t much buildup to it, it’s just: Madara: “let us settle who is superiour, once and for all!” Black Zetsu: “nah, alien time”
The point CBR is tryna illustrate with the first topic was that, hashirama didnt die of an illness, or old age, we know that much. He also wasnt killed because there wasnt anyone strong enough TO kill him. So what event transpired for the ultimate ninja to just pass on his mantle to his brother and then peace out of the story?
Why would it be a plot hole if we don’t know about his fate? I understand being curious about it, but it doesn’t hurt the story of the show if we never learn about it.
@emmarod8746 I agree with you. The fact that we don't know how he died literally prevents this from being a plot hole. His death could make perfect sense. We don't know.
@@emmarod8746 because there's still no plausible way he could have been killed without it being one of the biggest events to be mentioned, specially when the plan of the main antagonist of the series relied on using his cells to extend his life and the rest of the characters do the same with the use of different jutsus that would make parts of their bodies worthless If you're going to let a character have the means to live onto the current story and even thrive in it then you have to explain why he didn't just do it, on this case is even worse because after Madara died there wasn't even a single group or person with the means or intentions to kill him even if they tried to do so
The thing about Neji's death is not necessary the reason (bringing Naruto & Hinata together) is that it proved Neji was right about Fate. It was his destiny to die for Hinata. He is her side branch member, just like Hizashi was Hiashi's. I dont think Kishimoto did well witht the development of the Hyuuga clan. Toneri was also a side branch member. Please, do stop to think about the Hyuuga's ideology for a minute and the role of the side branch and tell me again I should not have a bad taste in my mouth about it.
Neji's whole arc was about accepting his fate of his own volition. It's not like anyone controlled him to sacrifice himself for Hianta, he did it of his own volition because of his love for her. It had nothing to do with families and branches for him in that moment.
@@taylordesouza7 No, no it's not. Naruto was never about fighting fate, the whole point of that fight is that Neji was wrong to fight against his fate. Fate is never presented as wrong in Naruto. Naruto isn't fighting against his fate, his fighting to fulfill his fate to become Hokage. Neji fought the false fate imposed on him by his family to sacrifice himself for his family against his will, only to fulfill his true fate of sacrificing himself of his own will. The whole point of Naruto is accepting fate, not fighting it, because it is only in the accepting of our fate that our one true act of free will is accomplished, and that is what allows us to achieve our true potential. Not everyone is meant to be everything, Naruto was the son of the Hokage, the reincarnation of Asura, yet people denied him his fate of becoming Hokage, and it is only through hard work and will that he was able to achieve his destiny, but it was still a destiny that was uniquely his by birth. Neji was denying him that, and it was through his inheritance of the Nine tails jinchuriki and his own cleverness that he beats him, proving that Naruto is indeed worthy of his fate.
@@salman6254 Neji vrs Naruto was written at a time before he was retconned to be the Fourth Hokage’s son. If it wasn’t a retcon then people in the audience would have been commenting on how an Uzumaki clan member was alive and fighting a Hyuuga. Which given the Uzumaki clan rep would have been a top billed fight.
The closest reason for Danzo not grabbing power that we have is filler saying that he is still under house arrest offically during the second Chunin exams where Neji became a jonin. He probably was doing some sneaky shit behind the scenes but he still keeps upp the appearenc that he was under house arrest probably to make his schemes easier and less likely to be put on him and this last to during the timeskip between og and shippuden. He then reveals his alliance with Hanzo to clap the akatsuki and tells the elders that Hanzo probably died because he stopped sending messages to him and if he betrayed Danzo he probably would have leaked shit about him. This is tecknically filler but like Kaguyas backstory its the only option we have that makes even a lick of sense so unless they really just deny it this is probably the reason. Also unrelated but gyat damn Koharu was hot back in the day.
People dont hold Naruto to the same standart as Sakura, because Naruto was not trying to get into Sasuke's pants. 😂😂 Also, Naruto is Sasuke's soul reincarnated brother. It's diffrent.
@RainStorm-qf7lq Naruto and Sasuke are the reincarnations of feuding brothers. He never showes signs of being gay. Naruto was trying to get with Sakura from episode 2.
@@taylordesouza7 You must didn't see the scene of him gripping his bed sheet at night, wondering if Sasuke ever thinks about him. At that point, that's passed just being "brothers".
22:12 ten or so years? That would make Sasuke 2 when the massacre happened. He was like 6 or 7, so it’s more like the 3rd Hokage died about 5 years after he stripped Danzo of his power,
31:45 bruh... he says throughout the series, multiple times, "I don't deserve to be hokage if i can't even save a friend" Naruto doesn't just want to become hokage, he wants to be deserving of that title and uses the will of fire as a guide to do just that. If he couldn't save one of his best friends, he didn't deserve the title of Hokage
clicked play and realized nick said the same thing, but still bro it makes perfect sense when you take naruto's ninja way into account. He never goes back on his word, so even if he wasn't obsessed with sasuke he still made a promise to sakura that he'd bring sasuke back
@10:34 Sakura's obsession with Sasuke isn’t the same as Naruto's obsession. The show literally spelled it out why Naruto and Sasuke's bond is so deep. Not to say Sasuke wasn't nice to Sakura he absolutely was. He cheered her up during the beginning of the Chunnin exams and protected her in the forest of death. But none of that stuff implies romantic it's just protecting a comrade in danger. Naruto, Sasuke & Sakura all protected each other because they were a team, and Naruto & Sasuke protected Sakura because she was the weakest member of Team 7. Plus Naruto protected Sakura as well, so what makes Sasuke different than Naruto? Naruto protected Sakura & Sasuke from Gaara and protected Sakura when she was about to be killed by Sasuke. If Sakura's goal is only Sasuke that's bad writing. If Sakura's whole character revolves around Sasuke that's not a good character. Naruto had the goal of becoming Hokage and being acknowledged by the village which is outside of Sasuke and Sakura. Sasuke had the goal of killing Itachi, restoring his clan, and Revolution, once again outside of Naruto and Sakura. Sakura's goal is to be able to stand next to Naruto and Sasuke. Not her own personal goal and it has to do with Sasuke and Naruto. Another comment said this but Sakura loving Sasuke doesn't improve her character or move the story forward but makes her a massive liability.
228 Cali time Ty for the banter before I go sleep I missed your other vids, but you usually right about things OruchimRu might be justified and I really don’t care about Sakura so I didn’t wanted that one 🙏
Hey Nick, I wanted to ask a question because something about Naruto has recently come to mind. My question is, why does no one talk about Madara being able to effortlessly wild sage chakra? We know through the series that sage chakra isn't easy to control, nonetheless wield, yet Madara made it look like childs play. How is this possible?
Madara being a corpse allowed him to do whatever , he doesn't feel pain so their for nothing effects him , same as getting stabbed , he's already dead with limbs can re attached itself instantly from any attack , that's why .
I agree with most of what you said in this video but the last Sakura point. If we remember correctly we did see apart of her training with Tsunade. The number one thing she was supposed to be good at was being able dodge and defend.... basically not get hit by attacks. Yet every time we see her fight she's getting smashed, hammered, and skewered because she knows how to heal herself. What was the purpose of her training if she NEVER applied the most important principle of her training? She should have been one of the most broken characters by her powerset alone but amounted to I can heal and hit hard by the end of shippuden. Wasn't she most well rounded geniuses in og naruto. What happened to all of that? If she lived up to her potential she would be close to unstoppable.
I really don’t understand why people think power creep is a bad thing. If all the characters started out as strong as they were going to get in the beginning of the story then there would be literally no character or plot development
While filler episodes syck while a shows is running weekly, they are great for world building and giving characters room to interact outside battle. Just think how much harder Neji's death would have hit if we had time to actually get to know him.
I have to agree a bit on the Gaara point. He did get 3 years of off-screen character development, but he was still tortured by the 1tail through that time. He could have much more believably shown himself as a good person while still being stern and semi-brooding or cautious, similar to how he was acting in the Sasuke retrieval arc. It seems too far of a change in character to suddenly seem outright benevolent, if that change were necessary or even just the direction Kishimoto wanted him to take by the end of the series, it should really have started after his resurrection via Granny Chio, holding out until that point would have been even more of an abrupt change, but it also would have given more importance to Chio’s sacrifice to bring back a new hope for the sand.
31:19 Sakura is twisted, she wanted to be the important thing in a confused, destroyed boys life who lost everything's an crafted his own destruction, an she wanted it to be her as the "light in the darkness" that she has been saying she could be the entire show, OR she thought she was that important and it would save him cause she felt bad + was attracted to sasuke. An in my opinion in that light she was written pretty well
Jiraya was also in the village when the third was assassinated. When Tsunade was in a coma the only other person suitable was Kakashi, but he was not a sanin. Donzo could easily throw his weight around and claimed to be more qualified without any opposition.
18:00 Kakashi's mannerisms in the early days of team 7 could be argued to be an attempt from kakashi to add obito's influence on team 7. Kakashi knew how uplifting young obito had been on himself and wanted team 7 to have some of that. It makes even more sense when you consider the composition of team 7 mirroring his own genin days. Being late lets him overhear the team talking, falling for naruto's jokes lets the teams personalities show themselves, like sasuke's dismissal of naruto causing naruto to try harder, Naruto's need to prove himself and building himself up through sheer tenacity (and chakra reserves). The banter of early naruto is great layared character building and Kakashi steps in at just the right amount to let his students grow into themselves. Yeah Sakura needed a bit more attention/depth but still
It is interesting also with regard to Kakashi and Obito and the paths they took after Obito's supposed death. Obito took on an extremely disciplined and rigid mindset with regard to accomplishing his plans Kakashi became of this and took on some of Obito's personality. Meanwhile both of them did retain aspects of their original personality where we could see Kakashi be extremely serious and tough, just as much as we saw Obito potentially even some of his original personality but taken to an extreme through his Tobi persona. Maybe that speaks to humans in the real world that there is always some innate personality qualities that we maintained even after a life-changing event. When Obito originally was revealed and the whole Rin nohara death story came out. I was sort of on the side of Obito being a simp for many years. However after rereading the manga at the age of 32 I continue to gain more insight out of that story arc. I think Kishimoto had a lot of thought put into Obito Saga it's just it was revealed far too late in the series to really Hammer home some of the themes I think he was going for. Which is why myself formerly and many others currently dismiss Obito as a simp.
Every single one of these criticisms is valid and fair and most of Nick's defenses are flat out cope or BS. The comment at tge end is a little hypocritical. I have watched Naruto from the start and I love the characters, story, and power systems. However, I admit that Kishimoto was overworked and fell in many inconsistencies. None of these kills or lessen our love for the beautiful work of art.
I fully agree that the greatest love you can give anything you are a fan of is being able to identify the best and worst qualities of it. I speak as a Kingdom Hearts fan.
Saying uprising rather then up bringing sounds so cool. Unfortunately, it’s kinda confusing. I heard it and though I missed a chapter where Naruto conquered the lead as a tyrant
IMO kakashi’s personality shift can be seen as intentional not only for the reasons you said, but also (1) to belie his true skills in the eyes of the majority, and (2) as mini exercises in humility.
2:13 I was 😅 I genuinely had no understanding of filler as a concept and didn't know any anime fans, so it was YEARS before I learned that those episodes weren't canon. The flack Naruto got a child makes no sense because he is their nuclear deterrent. Purposely alienating and antagonizing him is just asking for trouble.
Gaara is the youngest, not the oldest. Temari is the oldest. Kankuro is the middle child. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Right
Princess Kankuro: dresses up in cute Pajamas, wears makeup and likes playing with dolls
no wonder nobody cares about Kankuro. it's like LiAngelo Ball. nobody cares about Temari either but at least she marries Shikamaru
@@taylordesouza7 Kankuro is mooching off of Sasori's work
The first point you looked at is actually 100% valid for more casual viewers. Naruto was my first anime and I was so confused when filler characters didn't come back later. Like how there were seemingly 5 different 9 tails Jinchuriki by the end of the show (granted, there were basically 4 in canon anyway).
Yup was going to say the first point was very good for casual fans I think he was looking at it from the lens of a die hard fan.
Yeah I didn’t even realize naruto was a manga I thought it was just a show and didn’t know about canon/non-canon I thought it was all one
I just saw Naruto like a regular cartoon like Adventure Time, Ben 10, or a fellow anime like Pokémon and sometimes those shows would have episodes and arcs happen that would never get revisited down the line.
and pointing out that the writer spelled Shnen instead of Shonen, that's clearly a typo. the issue is with not editing or rereading it to fix it
Hiruzen also had Asuma who was his own son. I always wondered why he didn't adopt Naruto and raise him in his own house with an elder brother Asuma keeping an eye on him. It might not have been the best home but it would have been a home with people who at least cared about him.
That or shikamarus father should've adopted him tbh 🤷
Minato telling hiruzen to take care of naruto didn’t happen until episode 300 of shippuden so how could they have written hiruzen to be his dad
😂😂😂 hell yeah!
Facts
that seems to be how things work even in our world. many evil people live long lives while the good ones parish.
@@b1bbscraz3y he would leave early, he would be at the gravesite before dawn.

@@darionblack4434 was high when I wrote it and higher now. I think Sakura wipes the MHA and AOT universe wby?
10:33 Naruto is stupid for being devoted to Sasuke too. However, there is SOME leeway with Naruto, because where as Sakura was a dumb, normal girl who was infatuated with a lame edgy kid, Naruto literally had no family, and Sasuke was basically the only person he felt truly knew what he was going through. Sakura literally has no reason, in the manga or anime, to be that devoted to Sasuke.
It’s also really weird to compare the pushing of your physical limits that anime presents to pushing the limits of crazed, unrequited love
Also, it dosent help that the fixation on Sasuke ACTUALLY DOES advance Narutos character arc and the story, where as Sakuras fixation dosent, outside of the single time she tried to kill him and couldn’t even go through with it

@@pharaohkai1Why would she, as the Kazikage, move to the leaf village if she has no relationship with the hidden leaf other than being its ally? In this hypothetical, she would've been the Kazikage at the same time as Gara was in the original version. Gaara being chosen for Kage was also explained in early Shippuden, as making it easier to control him or keep him in check.
Trauma bonding.
Thank you.

I think she was pretty much next to them, and probably knew what Kakashi was going to do before he did it.
Rin was a medical ninja, so she would obviously, be faster at performing surgery than Kakashi. 😁
Thanks for all the effort nick, we can really tell the difference in the content
@@Dadahara Susano does not require your eyes to use. It just requires you to have both your eyes when you get MS.
Madara said "The power of the rinnegan is amplified by a true user, and also when both eyes are together"
This means there is still inherent value in physically retrieving them, especially both of them.
Thus he has both reason to reclaim the eyes AND justification for being able to use eye powers (Technically, WITH the assumption eye powers are unlocked forever)
Long comment but I have one more example for you... Obito unlocked both Kamui abilities (long range teleportation and self intangibility) and Kakashi only ever had long range Kamui (Eventually learning he can use it on himself too at close range but still never intangible)
This is because obito is the uchiha who unlocked the chakra for the abilities even if his second eye was gone from him, but Kakashi only can access the chakra inside the borrowed eye. this is ALSO why Akashi loses kamui forever after losing his sharingan. This is ALSO why Obito can temporarily imbue him with the unlocked susanoo (The same way itachi temporarily imbued sasuke with amaterasu)
Obito unlocked both MS abilities by awakening the chakra, Kakashi only got one, and Obito proved he can unlock them for someone else, while kakashi proved he can't maintain the unlocked powers without the physical eyes.... so eye powers are unlocked for the original wielder, but stronger with the actual eyes intact. Thus madras using MS and rinnegan... is contrived as **** but definitely consistent.
Kakashi was a lax teacher. Waiting till they were in the middle of a dangerous mission outside the village to teach tree walking and other basic skills instead of in the village earlier.
This is a bit nitpicky imo.
@@emmarod8746 true shows do do that a lot even outside of animation
I thought the Kakashi one would be different. My take: Kakashi is actually a mid teacher, arguablly bad in OG. (TLDR at the end)
Dont get me wrong Kakashi, has a lot of excuses.
So he left to teach Sasuke, pawned off Naruto, and Sakura got jack shit cuz he forgot about her 😂
Even then some have argued he outsourced his teaching too much, as Sasuke was the only one he actually taught.
He tried, i think he shouldve pushed a little more, but emotional intelligence is not an easy jutsu to master 😂
Tldr: Kakashi pretty much only taught Sasuke.
We all know how you feel about fillers, but you should make a video about your best/worst filler arcs.
I don’t think he has to react to every episode like he is doing for the manga canon episodes but I think he should do a video for each filler arc. I would be especially interested if he reviewed the 3 Tails arc.
33:38
"Did you know, Naruto... Top class ninja should be able to read each other's hearts simply by an exchange of fists. Even without saying anything..." - Sasuke in the final valley first fight
This is literally the reason why Naruto is one of, if not the best fighting anime.
Thanks for the cut down intro! Loved this video
I think the reason why Danzo didn't become Hokage was because the other "leaders" didn't vote for him to become one (like how kakashi almost became hokage when tsunade was in a coma i think?) instead, they wanted Jiraya to become the hokage because of his accomplishments but he rejected the offer and passed it down to Tsunade, so Danzo just plays it out until he gets the chance to take over, at least that's how i look at it
Thanks Nick new episode didn't have invasive ads AND you editor didn't mess up any out takes

19:39 wasn’t kakashi also late because he spent time mourning at obitos grave?
it still doesn't logically make sense because being late became a regular thing a rational person would start to leave early to do that first then get to their destination on time. if he leaves at 8 and going to the grave takes 15 additional minutes, you would eventually start to leave 15 minutes earlier to get to the final place on time. it's a retcon
The reason Naruto gets a pass for being so devoted to Sasuke is he at least has other goals and interests. Being Hokage and Loving Ramen,
Sakura has Ino as a Rival over Sasuke and sympathy for Rock Lee but her main drive is always Sasuke.
You should do you own 15 things that don’t make sense instead of covering theirs

My gripe with Tobirama is not breaking free, which kinda counters your mentioning Orochimaru had full control is the Anime showed Orochimaru putting the tags inside Hashirama and Tobirama after he revived them causing their bodies to smoke and gain more color.
I am sorry, but given the power of Harishama's CLONED cells? I also want to know how that man died. lol
probably the same way itachi and kimimaro did
Plot enforced OP disease...
@@blazerelease5960 I can roll with that, but I'd still prefer something a bit more concrete personally. lol

3rd hokage is a genius who master many of jutsu in konoha
3rd president is also a genius professor who made the Indonesian air force create its own airplanes
4th hokage sacrifice himself to protect konoha from kyuubi attack
4th president sacrifice his reign by resigning to save indonesian stability
5th hokage take the reign of hokage during konoha instability of power who is also first hokage grandchild
5th president is taking reign during instability of indonesian politics and also the grandchild of the 1st president
6th hokage is ex anbu root and has a deep military background and also ex commander of 5th great ninja war
6th president is a ex military army, ex ranger, ex military commander
7th hokage is the war hero, close to people, and the one who bring changes and level up konoha into the modern world
7th president is also a kind of hero, who close into people heart and the one who bring changes into indonesia to further it development
8th hokage is a close friend of the 7th hokage who is a great strategist and military commander and the one who will continue the 7th hokage vision into the future

Nick has been on a roll lately with this good content. So glad we aren't just getting manga updates. Might have to resubscribe if he keeps it up
The point CBR is tryna illustrate with the first topic was that, hashirama didnt die of an illness, or old age, we know that much. He also wasnt killed because there wasnt anyone strong enough TO kill him. So what event transpired for the ultimate ninja to just pass on his mantle to his brother and then peace out of the story?
Ninja aids maybe?
Why would it be a plot hole if we don’t know about his fate? I understand being curious about it, but it doesn’t hurt the story of the show if we never learn about it.
@emmarod8746 I agree with you. The fact that we don't know how he died literally prevents this from being a plot hole. His death could make perfect sense. We don't know.
@@emmarod8746 because there's still no plausible way he could have been killed without it being one of the biggest events to be mentioned, specially when the plan of the main antagonist of the series relied on using his cells to extend his life and the rest of the characters do the same with the use of different jutsus that would make parts of their bodies worthless
If you're going to let a character have the means to live onto the current story and even thrive in it then you have to explain why he didn't just do it, on this case is even worse because after Madara died there wasn't even a single group or person with the means or intentions to kill him even if they tried to do so
It’s thought he died in battle because he died in his armor, everybody got Edo revived in the clothes they died in.
Keep up the amazing work and videos Nick
The thing about Neji's death is not necessary the reason (bringing Naruto & Hinata together) is that it proved Neji was right about Fate. It was his destiny to die for Hinata. He is her side branch member, just like Hizashi was Hiashi's.
I dont think Kishimoto did well witht the development of the Hyuuga clan. Toneri was also a side branch member.
Please, do stop to think about the Hyuuga's ideology for a minute and the role of the side branch and tell me again I should not have a bad taste in my mouth about it.
Truth , plus kishimoto was Always a terrible writer, so you're right about that too .
Neji's whole arc was about accepting his fate of his own volition. It's not like anyone controlled him to sacrifice himself for Hianta, he did it of his own volition because of his love for her. It had nothing to do with families and branches for him in that moment.
@salman6254 Please, do rewatch Naruto and Neji's fight in the chunin exams! Naruto is about defying fate.
@@taylordesouza7 No, no it's not. Naruto was never about fighting fate, the whole point of that fight is that Neji was wrong to fight against his fate. Fate is never presented as wrong in Naruto.
Could've fooled me. Naruto was showing signs of being gay. If Sasuke was a girl, he would've definitely married Sasuke, instead of Hinata.
Lol, didn't even notice the intro was changed😂
I was so sure I wouldn't like it 😂
But it was nice🙌🏽
another video in 2 days
so good
22:12 ten or so years?
He never goes back on his word, so even if he wasn't obsessed with sasuke he still made a promise to sakura that he'd bring sasuke back
As soon as I heard cbr i knew that this was going to be fun
You should do a vid about how to get rid of a karma seal while still keeping the powers of an otsutsuki
Awesome as always thanks ❤ I'm in the third category too😂 Gaara is the youngest though!
An in my opinion in that light she was written pretty well
Great video
Jiraya was also in the village when the third was assassinated. When Tsunade was in a coma the only other person suitable was Kakashi, but he was not a sanin. Donzo could easily throw his weight around and claimed to be more qualified without any opposition.
Jirayia died before Tsunade went into a coma
@@TheDON914 precisely. I was referring to both times, I’ll edit my comment so it’s more clear.
@@___________0Z0X Danzo was just acting Hokage. He was never going to win the vote to be Hokage.
@@robertivey7644 that’s why he wanted to become the leader of the shinobi alliance, to give more legitimacy to himself being the Hokage.

32:07 I Just realized they were seeding the idea that Naruto is ninja Jesus all the way back then, with him looking out for the one lost sheep.
Yeah Sakura needed a bit more attention/depth but still
As someone who only dabbled in Naruto. Filler is 100% confusing cause the anime doesn't tell you it is filler
I'm not the only one who thinks that Naruto has some amazing filler? Fire.
42:39 swing Nick grow with his views in real time. He used to have this same gripe in older videos
People are definitely confused by filler episodes, especially on your first watch of a show. The boat filler arc is why i started reading the manga.
When you have been through as much as kakashi you have to not give a fuck to an extent or you'll go insane
But How Did Madara Use Susano with No Eyes?
I fully agree that the greatest love you can give anything you are a fan of is being able to identify the best and worst qualities of it. I speak as a Kingdom Hearts fan.
Saying uprising rather then up bringing sounds so cool. Unfortunately, it’s kinda confusing. I heard it and though I missed a chapter where Naruto conquered the lead as a tyrant
IMO kakashi’s personality shift can be seen as intentional not only for the reasons you said, but also (1) to belie his true skills in the eyes of the majority, and (2) as mini exercises in humility.
Just gave you a like because there was no 3 min intro! Thank youuu
Your videos are very cool and informational
Ill say it again 🎉 the naruto youtube guy is BACK!

I was 😅 I genuinely had no understanding of filler as a concept and didn't know any anime fans, so it was YEARS before I learned that those episodes weren't canon.
The flack Naruto got a child makes no sense because he is their nuclear deterrent. Purposely alienating and antagonizing him is just asking for trouble.
