- Using a battery operated flush valve means changing the batteries every so often. Replacing the batteries and restoring full operation to the side mount flush valve can be accomplished in a few quick steps.
Materials:
Allen Key
4 C Alkaline Batteries
Step 1: Loosen the Set Screw with the included Allen Key
Step 2: Remove old batteries. Please dispose of batteries responsibly.
Step 3: Add 4 new C Alkaline Batteries to the battery tray
Step 4: Reinstall the Battery Tray and tighten screw set.
Note: the last 3 turns of the Allen Key activate the automatic flushing unit.

i have stripped battery plate screw. any suggestions?
I'm having the same problems guys. I don't have this allen wrench they use and I cant seem to get any regular allen wrenches to work. Let me know if you find an answers, thanks.
Ours is mounted in a somewhat tight space. I can't tell what kind of driver I need to unscrew the cover.
I installed the new batteries and turned the Allen wrench until it flushed... but it doesn’t flush again after. Not sure why. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Idk if people read these but where can you order replacement Allen wrenches
It takes a 3mm tamper proof Allen Key
Is it a torch Allen wrench
Hi Craig - Yes, the “Allen Key” is also known as an “Allen Wrench” or “Hex Key.” Thanks for your question!
