Sin separates us from GOD.Thanks to repentance and the blood of JESUS CHRIST we can be set free in the eyes of our GOD.
How wonderful it is to see Apostolic Pentecostals pursue Master’s and Doctorate degrees in theological studies and bless us with their knowledge especially as the world becomes more outspoken against Christian values. It increases my faith to have educated men share that there is good evidence for our belief. I’ve also been greatly blessed by the Thinking to Believe podcast with Jason Dulle.
Only the truth can set someone free and leads them to our SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST.JohnCh3:3 and Acts 2:38 a must to be saved. The word of GOD helps to discern between righ and wrong.
Amen.
Love these talks.
Thank you for the clear understanding on the Word of God.
God bless
Excellent presentation, I'm sure I'm not alone in hoping to see the Apostolic Study Bible released in the NKJV, a personal favorite, or other quality translation someday
Love the information. Wondering if an actual Bible might exemplify the discussion.
Amen.
Catholic Church states Holy Scripture is not enough. They say doctrines are determined or formulated taking into account the Scriptures, Traditions of the Church, and Ecclesial Magisterium. What do you say about it, David K. Bernard?
Math 16:28 please Bro. Bernard - could you please give some clarity to such a challenging topic.
Good observation and question.
I'll stick with the King James Version Bible. Acts 2:38🕊
Why did my pastor not teach like this? Only screaming all the time I never learn anything
He's conditioned to this. I spent time alone with God, reading and praying. He's the only one who gets all of the credit
If the Bible is authority in our lives and we have the holy spirit why do we need a pastor?
They're of a certain necessity at the 1st until you're fully mature & can do the will of God
The Word of God is the Lord Jesus Christ, according to John 1 and Revelation 19.
The Bible is precious, but we must not equate it with the Lord.
The Lord is unchanging - but scriptures can be changed.
Use the scriptures to find your way into a relationship with the Lord, but do not make the Bible into an idol.
"The Bible is precious, but we must not equate it with the Lord" you stated, which is wrong. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." (John 1:1). You can't separate Christ from his Word. The epistles were written as instructions on how to live after we've been saved and filled with the Holy Ghost, and we must obey the Word of God if we want to make it into the Kingdom. The Bible guides our thinking, attitude and behaviors through the Holy Ghost.
