    Man thanks for this video I didn't realize that this balancer seems to be uncommon as far as removal videos... Did you just use the crank bolt to install ?? can't find videos on that either the game

      Sam NunYa it should. I’ve taken apart tons of f-150s. Depending on the year you may need a longer crank bolt

    so I tried getting the pulley out and the center of the puller was pushing into the crank, what would you recommend on removing the crank pulley

    • @FerKurl

      Did you have a bolt threaded partially into the crank?

    I am currently using the same puller and it’s just getting stuck do I have to rest every time just to get the puppy off ?

      Jose Torres what do you mean exactly by “getting stuck”

    • @JoseTorres-ms2ui
      @JoseTorres-ms2ui 3 года назад

      FerKurl when I turn it more than a couple of times I can’t turn anymore

      Jose Torres is the balancer bottoming out on the crank bolt? Unthread the center bolt a little more or exchange it for a longer bolt of the same thread

    How did you fit that in there cant seem to get my puller to fit in

    • @FerKurl
      @FerKurl  3 года назад

      That puller came from harbor freight in a 5 piece set of different sizes so you use the size you need. Depending on your balancer you may need a different puller. Here’s a link to another puller I frequently use ruclips.net/video/L2--WMSrMsA/видео.html

    Would that tool fit on pulleys without spoke? Meaning would it fit to the outside of it

    • @FerKurl
      @FerKurl  3 года назад

      Maybe but I wouldn’t recommend it, 3 jaw will pull most but not all harmonic balancers

  • @timwisdom9574

    Save yourself some heartache and get the right tool for the right job. I tried the same thing. U need at least one xtra hand to set the puller up.

    I can’t get my gear puller inside the balancer..Edit: I just had to put some effort in it lol,I really hate working on cars.

    • @FerKurl

      Maybe try a different puller, use a big impact. Hate to say it but try a lil heat

      @@FerKurl I got the small puller to work. Just had to take one of the legs off and reinstalled it after I got the other two started inside the harmonic balancer. Thanks you
