Maybe you have to be in “mode 5” on the esc to set it up. But, I checked all of the other modes on the esc, and nothing changed as far as the lights go. They all functioned the same way, no change. I like this kit!

Yeah I used the low brightness setting when day crawling this weekend in the forest (vid coming!). It's great! Still pretty bright for video stuff, though didn't use up a ton of battery either. And yes to accessories! Made the scale firewood myself. Have some more parts coming from Knight Customs soon, and MyTrickRC is sending out some of their new rock lights! Can't wait!

How far of a lead does the made button have do you think I would be able to run it to the rear quarter panel so I could reach under/behind the rear bumper to switch modes? Thanks
i got the stock light kit and rock lights and was wondering if i should get the TRX4 Defender UF-7 Light Kit i want some backup lights and turn signals. but i saw the dg-1 plugs into the balance port. just found your channel and love your trx 4 videos

I’m torn between this and the Traxxas brand kit. This one sure seems brighter than the Traxxas from what I’ve seen on RUclips. Do they make a way to turn them on/ off with a remote?
Looks like something out of a Jurassic park movie with the way it drove thru the forest with bright lights and seemingly cautious drive movements!?😂😂😂😂...I love how it sharply turns ...at a distance -is that like a R.c halogen light bulb with wheels ggggeeezz !?😩😩😩😩😂😂😂😂so freaking bright 🤩🤩🤩😄😄😄😄😁😁😁

Hi there you r one of the reasons i buy the Trx4 (Bronco) recently :) I love it. I already put a stronger servo (direction), a Bec, Tyres proline, lights, Weight on sides and front. Any sugestion for suspencions? Thanks and keep the good work
The 70/30 mode on the transmitter is for nitro only as stated in the manual. It's cheaper for Traxxas to produce one radio system for all it's vehicles, than two dedicated for either electric or nitro applications.

oh man that sounds awesome!! I haven't changed my suspension, been pretty happy with the stock setup. Heard proline makes some good shock upgrades.

lsmaxxed just a 2s lipo, but the light kit also has a 3s balance port
