Hey Troy. Good question. The 185 hubs are probably what you want. If that doesn't work for you, keep them clean with the original packaging and we can return them for you, but I think the 185's will be close to stock offset. Not as helpful There are brass spacers for wheels and are much cheaper then new bead locks. Also there are brass front bumper mounts which are very helpful for climbing. I took the roll cage off of mine and it does not tip as much. You can also get a new, heavier bumper to add to the weight.
It's up to you. Some people prefer more weight over the front axle to help the truck climb, while other people prefer a more 50/50 balance. It just comes down to what type of driving you do most. -Brett

Please let me know
Thanks
Nice weight Update in Beadlock Wheels :)
The body weighs not even close to 1.9 lbs.... its plastic/lexan. I own the trx4 blazer and the body weighs nothing close to this.
Nice review man! good speak!
is this unbox Therapy?
Hi, I want to switch to the vanquish 1.9 beads on my new TRX-4 defender and use the same tire size "120mm" canyon trails, I also want to keep my offset pretty much stock, so would I use the 185 SLW hubs or the 225? Thx Bro, that was a really good video! ;o) Love the battery idea too!
Hey Troy. Good question. The 185 hubs are probably what you want. If that doesn't work for you, keep them clean with the original packaging and we can return them for you, but I think the 185's will be close to stock offset. Here's a forum thread with some pictures for reference: www.rccrawler.com/forum/traxxas-trx-4/585421-trx4-wheel-fitment-info.html
Hope this helps!
-Brett
@@AMain_Hobbies Ok, cool!, I have 225's coming, they looked very close to the stock offset, if I don't like them i'll try the 185's, they have no issues clearing?
@@porcupinebob7907 No they shouldn't. If you have aftermarket brass pieces secured in there, it could be an issue, but probably not.
-Brett
@@AMain_Hobbies Oh ok, mines all stock, no brass stuffs ;o) Thx!
Very good looking thanks
Not as helpful
There are brass spacers for wheels and are much cheaper then new bead locks. Also there are brass front bumper mounts which are very helpful for climbing. I took the roll cage off of mine and it does not tip as much. You can also get a new, heavier bumper to add to the weight.
What motor options do you reccomend?
Do you add the Beef Tube weights to only the front tires or all 4 ties?
It's up to you. Some people prefer more weight over the front axle to help the truck climb, while other people prefer a more 50/50 balance. It just comes down to what type of driving you do most.
-Brett
You know traxas make those link kits
And they are fun
It a no from me on the wider stance on a trail truck
But what size of slw hub are u using tho
I think they were 425, or 450.
-Brett
can i buy same jeep body?
There is another way how to improve performance with the Land Rover and that's by lowering the centre of gravity which should improve it to not roll over
Ryan Walter literally the point of the whole video did you watch more than 5 seconds?
Prices?
Nice 👍
Hello! Which set of tyres and wheels do you have used ?
AMain Hobbies thank you very much
I'm looking for a 2000 Range Rover body for the TRX-4 chassis, do you know where I can find it???
Hi Floyd. There was actually a Range Rover body released recently, but it's the '81. The body comes with this model but will be offered separately down the road: www.amainhobbies.com/carisma-sca1e-1-10-scale-81-range-rover-4wd-scaler-rtr-cis78568/p895226
Unfortunately that is the only Range Rover body that i'm aware of.
-Brett
It looks fairly close to my full size 2000, it might work for what I'm thinking
lol at 2:15 voice crack 🤣
Someone at a hobby shop told me adding weights to the wheels can mess up the trans. Is that true?
AMain Hobbies Thanks!!!!
Can clod tires fit?
what is the length of the Slw hubs that i should buy so my tires look the same as in your video ??
The biggest we tried in the video were the 725 hubs: www.amainhobbies.com/vanquish-products-slw-725-hex-hub-set-silver-2-0.725-width-vps01041/p177784

@@AMain_Hobbies many thanks 🤩🫡
Does the insurgent have proxi mines though?
Is diet water still wet?

SMH LOL Traxxas doing their thing...Great video B....
Do you think bi should get a 2 speed transmission for my trx sport or stick with the single speed ? I crawl a lot in it.
Sell it and buy a fully equipped TRX4. You won't regret it.
2 speed is so fun. Can go slow. Then slam second gear and leave all the slow as fuck axials in the dust
Do u need bead lock wheels for the vanquish wheel hub space
Yes. You need to have the Vanquish Beadlock Wheels for the Vanquish Wheel Hubs. Any of these: www.amainhobbies.com/search?cID=9487&s=vanquish+1.9+beadlock
-Brett
Hey man. What beef patties do I need to make wheels wider on trx4 defender. I can’t see anything on them for width
You'll need the "hex" style: www.amainhobbies.com/beef-tubes-beef-patties-brass-2-hex-style-bftbt005hb/p-qqazqstqhzzxactz
These will replace the hex on your truck and add 2mm per side. The TRX4 uses portals but that shouldn't be an issue with these, but can't say 100%.
-Brett
@@AMain_Hobbies thanks a million . You guys do a great job
where did you get that suspension tester ramp?
Not sure exactly now, it's been a few years. It was made by a company that sent it as a sample. It's not something we sell, although we do have these ramps but they're small in comparison: www.amainhobbies.com/exclusive-rc-rhino-ramps-black-erc10-7082/p742211
-Brett
I got mine in alittle dirt and now it creaks like hell
AMain Hobbies yeah. I'm probably gonna take some WD-40 to it.
How to price
Another upgrade to boost performance is to sue competition out of business!😄😄😄
Hi can i know the price of these 2 cars?
Hello Deva. The TRX4 Tactical is about $380 and you can view that here: www.amainhobbies.com/traxxas-trx4-tactical-1-10-scale-trail-rock-crawler-w-tactical-unit-body-tra82066-4-camo/p709344
The TRX4 Defender is about $450; you can view that here: www.amainhobbies.com/traxxas-trx4-1-10-scale-trail-rock-crawler-w-land-rover-defender-body-silver-tra82056-4-slvr/p663344
Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.

I need that link kit so I’m able to run different bodies how do I find them on your website
Here is the 12.3" shortening kit for the Defender chassis: www.amainhobbies.com/incision-traxxas-trx4-12.3-wheelbase-suspension-links-incirc00201/p726686
12.3" (313mm) is the most common wheelbase for crawlers and includes the biggest selection of body styles.
-Brett
@@AMain_Hobbies and that’s for the defender right
@@Nameless7oh7 Yeah, it's compatible with all the TRX4 trucks and offers a heavy stainless steel link option to put weight down low.
-Brett
@@AMain_Hobbies ok thanks keep up the good content
wondering if I could run 3s lipo 60c 5000mah with a stock motor and ESC??
Yes you can. It's 3S LiPo compatible.

Great Rc car
Cuz it's a trail truck not a crawler
Right on man
