Does this guy ever NOT hit it spot on? Wish I could've been there....
Heard and saw him do this years ago on David Sanborn's late night show. This song is positively brilliant. Todd Rundgren - in his lyrics he says the things we are all so afraid to admit to ourselves and say out loud. So grateful for him❤️
How lovely! We were fortunate enough to attend this performance at Notre Dame. What a wonderful evening!
OMG. Chills. Tears.
TR what an incredible talent coupled with pure poetry in his words.
Bravo! The genius of Todd Rundgren🎵
Hey Alex Mansour, awesome performance on piano there! I'm a huge Todd fan (and a longggg time professional musician myself), and "Parallel Lines" is one of my fav Todd songs. Your rendition on piano was great and unique!
I love this version. It shows such musical maturity. Beautiful simplicity!
amazing fly on the wall experience... thank you whoever uploaded this, I wanna give you a big hug and kiss! ♥
Just inCredible ! Great to Be Alive to catch this kinda Talent. WoW Todd, AGain !
Makes me cry & feel wonderful at same TR time. Wizard.
Lovely piano work and of course the master at work..a joy.
What a performer!
Just wonderful watching in practice room before the show... 😊👍🇺🇲
I am happy he is not in the r n r hall of fame: it’s not of the quality that this man deserves. An award at the Kennedy Center is more proper.
Beautiful!
Beautiful version, the Accompaniment can't miss with Todd⭐️very nice guys! Rock on! ArtyThan ☆♡☆
Love
I love his lyrics and how he sings with such emotion. He lives the song(s) whenever he sings it.
Oh, wow. Outstanding.
Forever my favorite TR tune !!!###
Oh to hear this played live...Mr. Rundgren, please let me know when you're thinking about playing this live sometime!
What a masterpiece of a work...so much to this song that most people don't get unless you get Todd!
Masterpiece
I remember meeting Todd on the street in 1976. Boy, does he look old now. I'm glad that I haven't changed a bit.
As Todd says, You can't stop the hands of time....still has the energy of a young man though :)
He was probably 67 years old in this video
I think Todd looks great not old at all

I love the stripped down version of this song such as here. So emotional
Wonderful :)
awesome ! Great job kid!
Done like this, it sounds like a Great American Standard. A beautiful song, being timeliness.
Todd is G-d
Michelle R. Jackson - I tried to reply to you via RUclips (privately) but every time I clicked to reply to your comment it didn't work. Anyway, I have deleted my original post. I assure you that I'm a huge fan of TR and Utopia too. Have been to over 12 Todd shows. I was just expressing my opinion about this video. After a few more listens, after reading your message, I've changed my mind... have studied the piano accompaniment and I would say that it does work well with Todd's vocals. Either that or I was commenting on another video... LOL Thanks and take care!
Not much going on upstairs
Nice version, this song is a bitch to sing,
