  • In fall 2016, the Notre Dame Department of Film, Television, and Theatre and the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center were honored to host rock legend Todd Rundgren as artist-in-residence for ten days. At the end of his residency, he performed a concert with student musicians to a sold out Leighton Concert Hall on Oct. 1, 2016.

    Thank you for this AWESOME video..2 yrs later, STILL gives me a thrill...Todd at ND?? I've been an ND fan all my life.. TR is my favorite musical artist..🖒❤☘

    How can Todd say he never played this a capella ? I saw him in the '80's when he toured with an eleven-voice choir, and I'm pretty sure it was done that night.

      There was a backing track played along with the choir.

      You might be right about his song. However , he did use a track on "Lost Horizon", and maybe a few others.

      Probably so Todd's mic wouldn't pick up their choruses, and vice versa ....
