These kids singing a classic. If they had lived back then like a lot of us they would realize how big this song was on radio
never gets old...the song and Todd.
I'm floored by the fact he can still hit those notes.
I agree with you 💯💯💯
Me too!
Canta precioso y sus canciones son preciosas también, enorme TODD, DESDE CDMX COLONIA OBRERA TE SALUDO, GRACIAS.
What an absolutely great human being, on so many levels...
These kids lives changed that day.
For those who criticize this performance, keep in mind this was done with students - young people within a performing arts school at Notre Dame. These young folks have yet to be seasoned pros like Todd, whom I give major-league props for being involved in the education of our youth. So let's get off the "music critic" bullshit and let's appreciate this for what it is - Todd showing our young folks the importance of creative music. Sure as hell hope it will beat the garbage that we hear now in the commercial landscape.
Those students suck. This is a superb song !
absolutely
I totally agree with you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Right on. These kids are just coming into it. I think how fortunate I was to grow up with this kind of music (in the 70s). Todd was unique and one of the best.

For the Love of Todd.....He works with Kid's and Loves it....God Bless Him...
charles mann- Amen!!
I just couldn’t stop smiling!
As a fan since the early 70's (I'm old to most of you :) ) it doesn't get any better, and this only proves that that great voice hasn't left him, OMG, THANK YOU for posting this!!!
I was born in 1961, I walked the midways of different carnivals as a child and was in Boone North Carolina the day the Armstrong landed on the moon on a midway lot down in the valley.
I'd still consider it a blessing to listen to him today. But, hIs voice is clearly not what it used to be.
Me too. Since I was a kid. And especially Utopia in high school. I'm 57.
Totally agree. I'm 59 and this has been one of my top 5 favorite songs since it came out in 1972.
How much doI love Todd Rundgren?? A LOT!!!
I've always Loved Todd Rundgren (Hello it's Me) 1973 On TV. At 4yrs old. Todd has a wonderful personality Watching Him. ✝️😊👍🏼🇺🇸
Nice INDEED....from a 1.958 Boomer....
I love how this song starts on an uneven tempo and is struggling and then Todd steps in and turns this into a “rock” song and elevates all the musicians around him…Genius!
A true legend I love the way the choir is so happy to be singing with Todd what a fantastic memory they will have forever love this x
For sure, right??
Words can not express Todd's genius work he shows in all of music. God gave the music world Todd to let us mortals know what & how to shoot for musical perfection
Everytime I listen to this song, I just feel happy. Such a beautiful song
I love that he continues to inspire people through his music.
What a great performer! There is no lip syncing here...just real music.
My favorite all time song......Hello It's Me! This gave me goosebumps!
This is a tie for me with Love Is the Answer, which Todd also wrote.
One of the good songs to sit back and listen to
I love Todd, love how he stepped in as a father for Steven Tyler’s daughter when she was a baby. She Eve says Todd is her dad
In high school I was aware of Todd, back in the early 70's. Lived in Long Island. A good friend saw him in concert. He was blown away, just incredible. I think I appreciate him more now than ever. Thanks for posting.

I love that Todd continues to work with young people. That must have been a thrill for this group!
That voice is pure. ❤️❤️❤️
...and those lyrics reveal a heart that is pure, too.
Got into Todd's music recently...what took me so long???
Having lived in NYC and LA for a decade each, I don't get star struck. However, if ever cross paths with this man, I'm probably going to go straight into the ugly cry. He has written some of my lifelong favorite songs. I think he must have one of the purest hearts of any human on this planet.
I love this song. All 297 chords.
Todd is pure music. Pure. In that sense- he is one of a very small crowd. Ty todd. The joy of music.
What a wonderful thing. Love you, Todd.
Beautiful:)
Took my girl to her first 'adult' gig, to see Todd at the Manchester Ritz, when she was sixteen. She's just completed her music degree at BIMM Manchester... the man is an inspiration to all whose path he crosses (with a serious interest in shredding the musical envelope).
The Ritz? I've fallen out/been thrown out of there a few times over the years
Congratulations to your lass by the way.
👌👏👏👏👏👏👏♥️
@@fudgepanda1 Me too... I went to Salford Uni, 90-92, but my girlfriend was at Manchester Uni 87-90... five bloody great years. (I think it was ) Thursday nights at the Ritz that were the best (50p a pint).

Sometimes a special song of the past, is better left in the original state in which you found it. ⌛️ A very gifted songwriter/composer without a doubt!

Can you imagine Todd Rundgren doing this “Live from Daryl’s House?”
A high school classmate could play Todd in a movie. He has spent his entire adult life in the music industry. I feel certain that at some point they have met. I wish I could have been
there.
