Actually was talking about building a trailer with the wife, have a brand new 20 ft enclosed car hauler that I got for goose hunting off the lot for $8,000. Plus I work for a hardware store so building vs buying is my go to. The top bunk was left for the set-up of file space. If I was to buy one of these, my first mod would be to do away with the bunks and build a full size closet, for me and my wife. Perfect sopt. Nice layout and not just bare bones. Priced right.
Very good review of a nice travel trailer. My co-worker just bought a Chevy Colorado, and I'm helping him find a travel trailer for his wife and 4 year old daughter. I told him thanks to BTBRV, I know quite a bit about pairing the proper truck and trailer combination. I sent him this link, and told him to subscribe to your channel.
I have been a carpenter for 35 years. I started back in the eighties building customized homes. Now I just do remodelling, small additions and total home renovations.
I like this trailer with how basic, nice/clean and inexpensive it is. Single man traveling on the road, don’t need anything to big or fancy. Hope to pick one up soon!
These are the type of reviews I like...under $15k. Nice, simple, budget. Thinking of getting one for my parents at a price under $12,000 eventually. Something with a nice layout, easy to tow with a 1999 F150, roof A/C and affordable. Again, nice review. Should do more of these types of videos.
I always love watching your content but especially videos like this. I believe a lot of us watching are looking at affordable smaller to medium travel trailers that we take our families out in a couple times a year.
Our first camper didn't have slides. It was just us empty nesters and we were constantly bumping butts. We're blessed to be able to afford a bigger camper now with two opposing slides. Holy moly, what a difference it makes.
Wow! Perfect for parents with two kids. I want a smaller trailer but don’t like having to transform beds to useable space. Wasn’t expecting this to be so spacious inside!
Thank you for talking about what it would take to DIY one because my boyfriend was like "we could DIY one." I'm looking forward to showing him this. Thanks again
Not bad; mostly bed though. Still gets me excited about working from home and seeing the growth of Starlink. Living mobile a few times a month is more feasible than ever.
during lockdowns in sydney australia i was lucky to have a builder staying next door to me. he couldn't get much work because people were demanding builders be jibby jabbed to visit their homes, i gave him a few thousand to turn my van into a camper, best move ever, custom to fit me and my needs. i have traveled to the west coast and back during winter. couldnt live without my van now
This is what I have been thinking of and that’s a great price for all those amenities. Definitely would upgrade the rims and tires but once we purchase our truck, we will be looking for one of these.
YEAH, BABY! More of this! Not sure who has $50k+ to spend on trailer/RV, but NOT ME! Really happy to see something on the more $ accessible side. Thank you!!!
This would be great for me with my job, alot of the guys i work with have huge 30-40' campers with large trucks. I prefer my smaller toyota truck so something like this would be awesome.
Glad I got my trailer in 2016! 18’ box w/ slide out, large fridge, 2 axles, microwave, s/s bar BQ that hangs outside, electric awning w/LED and other lights and outside speakers for the TV and stereo all for $15K! And basin in the bathroom! Scary prices now! The same Forest River now is list $35K!
As I am typing this comment I am actually sitting in the very RV that you are featuring in your video. My brother bought it brand new from someone and got a great deal on it. It's not the highest quality but it is spacious and more importantly SUPER light and extremely towable! At first glance I laughed at the shower but it really wasn't that bad! (And I am not rail thin-lol 😉) I would as well as my brother would recommend this rv. Thanks for the video!
I agree with most of what you said except that you don’t need to be a carpenter, plumber or an electrician to build a camper. The people saying that they want to build a cargo trailer aren’t planning on paying a professional to do everything for them
Agreed, and the point of building your own would be to get everything you want and nothing that you don't. Cargo trailers tend to far better built. I think this unit looks like a fine camper and I would be thrilled to own something like it. But I wouldn't expect it to last long.
I agree. I'm none of those things professionally, but I have extensive home remodeling experience and could build a trailer. The cargo trailer could work out in 2 scenarios: 1) you buy a used trailer and throw a futon in the back and a chemical toilet and an outdoor shower hose and call it done. 2) You build something nicer than you could ever buy, because you like building things and don't mind spending a lot. The youtuber is right that building something middle of the road that looks decent and doesn't cost over $15k is almost totally out of the question. The trade off we all know is that these trailers don't last very long. But this one is made for people with kids 5-15 years old, so no one really needs it to last forever.
Thanks for covering this trailer. Awesome option considering our SUV tow vehicle and family size. Plus the price is great. We are hesitant with putting too much money into an “not-used-often-enough money pit.” But at this general price point it would be worth it given the opportunity to upgrade if we want to.
The “not used often enough money pit” aspect is what prevents me from buying a trailer. In the suburbs, where do you park it for the 355-ish days of the year that you aren’t using it? I can’t justify the cost for storing it given its rare use.
Wow, I really like this and love the bunk beds for the grand kids, only thing, I'd want a window lower bunk too! Can that be put in? Would add a fridge that has the separate freezer and solar panels too. This is actually doable! Now to trade my little car in for a pick up truck! Oh, also add lots of color in there! 👏❤️
I’m thinking about buying one to live in awhile. At least until the housing market crashes ( and it will). I’m wanting to build a cabin on my property but building a house is WAY overpriced right now. So I’m gonna buy a camper and wait the market out. I’m single and already own the property so why not lol 👍🏻. When building a house gets cheap again I’ll have a cabin built
This is literally the perfect camper for a family. My wife has finally come around on camping after going last year an really enjoyed it. We have a little one and plan to at some point have another one and this camper would be perfect. Has everything you need for a family and in a small footprint. Pretty much forces you to hangout outside which is the point to camping.
Actually that has a super nice small family layout for short camping trips. Family budget friendly too. Then when you add in unexpected features: electric sunshade, window valences, small bathtub it really is an economical winner. Yes, upgrade tires and wheels.
It’s funny you brought up converting a cargo trailer into a camper, honestly there are generally two reasons why it is beneficial to do that over purchasing something like this. Number 1 is the price, $15k honestly is probably comparable to where I ended up on my last build which will be a higher quality than this but also have slightly less features. The main reason to convert a cargo trailer though is to be incognito 🥸, for the urban camping in that is the only real reason I would convert over purchase. This is a decent buy right here though.
He's telling the truth I've looked at mini cargo trailers roughly around that size and they run and that's relatively the cheapest ones around 4500 the nicer ones are going to run you anywhere to 8,000 even up so yeah that's definitely a good deal great video
You hit the nail on the head with the cost to convert a cargo trailer. I’m able to do it for less but it’s taken me years of sourcing materials for cheap and the amount of research for electrical, heat, waterproofing materials… time I could have spent working instead to buy a ready made 15k trailer like this :D

Thanks for this one. My wife and I bought a new Jayco 264BH for our family this year and we love it. We are actually going to the campground tonight and my twin sister and brother-in-Law are coming for the weekend. They have been looking for a camper for themselves that they could tow with their midsize SUV. I’m going to pass along this video to them because it looks like it would be perfect for their small family!
We had a midsized suv and while it could tow our 16 foot TT it didn’t like it- we upgraded to a f150
@@katrinadye1055 we upgraded to an Expedition. Too many kiddos for a pickup. I really wanted a 3/4 ton. If only Ford would wake up and bring us back the Excursion!
The perfect portable hotel room, dorm room, or backyard guesthouse at a very affordable price. Thanks for the review, it's the best in small house living, and it's mobile. : D
Couldn’t believe there was so much sleep space & still have a bathroom! Love it!!💕
At 2:54 - "Ya just pull it out and push it back in when you're done"... sounds like my love life!
I think it's really cute, and you could add personal touches like a backsplash, etc. Something like this would be great for our family for camping trips.
If I was to buy one of these, my first mod would be to do away with the bunks and build a full size closet, for me and my wife. Perfect sopt. Nice layout and not just bare bones. Priced right.
I'd switch the bed and bath b/c I dislike lying right by the door. People are insane I want a sec to hear you and aim first...
Our Springdale mini was only $1000 more, and has a slide out dinette. Shop Keystone if you want to keep costs down.
Thank you so much, very nice, not everyone can afford a huge one, Shannon from Michigan.
We have the ones that are affordable for you and we will get it delivered to you

I have no use for bunks...lol I'd like a bigger window by the table.
Good luck finding one under 20k
I always love watching your content but especially videos like this. I believe a lot of us watching are looking at affordable smaller to medium travel trailers that we take our families out in a couple times a year.
I just watched a review for a small travel camper for $120,000 that didn't eve have an indoor shower or an awning like this one! I want one of these!
Very nice! I’m thinking about getting something like this. Sense it’s just myself and wife now. Kids r all grown up.
We have a very nice one that you would love so much and we can get it delivered to your destination reach us on here for more details

I love this. This would be great for me and my son and my mom occasionally. I would put up a privacy curtain around the bed though.
Naw. Mom can watch if she wants to be nosey lol
"What are you doing, stepmom?"
@@romanhed there it is 😏
No husband tho
Y’all I’m a divorcée so just me and my son.
Not bad, actually considering on buying one. Hubby on the road and hates hotels. Love that it has no slide out 👍
Our first camper didn't have slides. It was just us empty nesters and we were constantly bumping butts. We're blessed to be able to afford a bigger camper now with two opposing slides. Holy moly, what a difference it makes.
I stay in a small rv the slide out makes huge difference in space.
Rv parks depending where are more expensive for hook ups
Wow! Perfect for parents with two kids. I want a smaller trailer but don’t like having to transform beds to useable space. Wasn’t expecting this to be so spacious inside!
We have deferent ones that can be suitable for you and you will like it can get it delivered to you if you interested

My mom's friend has the same model as this one. It's a 2019 and is freaking nice!! One of the smallest trailers that's the most liveable. Huzza!
Thank you for talking about what it would take to DIY one because my boyfriend was like "we could DIY one." I'm looking forward to showing him this. Thanks again
That’s a nice little unit. Wont be a problem for the trusty suburban.
Many thanks for putting this up mate, great for mountains and coast and heaps of fun when we come visit EVERYONE in the good ol' US of A. peace
Thanks
I'd convert the bunk area into an office. 😊
Everything we want.. a bed, a restroom, and somewhere to play games when it is raining. Thank you, I love it, hopefully the Mr. does too!
Glad i came across your video. I love the price plus something a small suv can pull love it.
If you are interested in getting one we can deliver to your destination

The wife and I have been slowly looking for a small camper. I really like that camper. Thanks for the review
This is the exact one I'm renting for 4th of July weekend so excited for my little family. Might just buy one if the girls super dig the trip :)
How did you like it?
@@lucymaze3917 it was perfect for my small family of 3
Not bad; mostly bed though. Still gets me excited about working from home and seeing the growth of Starlink. Living mobile a few times a month is more feasible than ever.
during lockdowns in sydney australia i was lucky to have a builder staying next door to me. he couldn't get much work because people were demanding builders be jibby jabbed to visit their homes, i gave him a few thousand to turn my van into a camper, best move ever, custom to fit me and my needs. i have traveled to the west coast and back during winter. couldnt live without my van now
Our buddy built a living space in an enclosed trailer. He did it on the cheap. Plus he hauls his rig in it. It's actually pretty nice.
I love traveling across the country with these trailers
This is what I have been thinking of and that’s a great price for all those amenities. Definitely would upgrade the rims and tires but once we purchase our truck, we will be looking for one of these.
I love this. VERY well laid out for a young family.
Nice of that ghost to shut the bathroom door for you!! lol. This is what I am looking for. Great video.
it was ur mom
This trailer is perfect. I'd love to have one.
ur mom said about me lol
Perfect little camper, wish I would have seen this year's ago
I don't know how I got here, but I like the idea to travel and bought me an RV 🤣😳😜😁🌴
Can I go with you lol
Me too! Lol
Already have a very similar RV, we should meet up and do a RV caravan trip someday, former NY'er who moved to the Pacific NW in 1992. 😄
I know me too and I am very interested in this for a fun and quick getaway
Same here. Despite the fact that I am 14yo I would have moved there with my best friend.
Not in love with the floor plan, but can't argue with the value. Needs a couch more than a dining table or bunk beds.
Damn DualEx beat me to it! 💯 agreed
Plus you definitely don't need to buy a cargo trailer NEW.. Buy one gently used and save big $$$$
Huge fan of your work @dualex
Stumbled across this video. This actually is a great deal for what you get.
That's an excellent price value!
It is amazing. The inside is actually larger than the outside.
In the suburbs, where do you park it for the
355-ish days of the year that you aren’t using it? I can’t justify the cost for storing it given its rare use.
@@gregnixon1296 park it on the street and get it dirty so it looks like a homeless persons’s trailer. Then no one will bother it lol
@@uncertifiedprofessional Can't park anything over 6 feet tall in many cities.
@@gregnixon1296 Why not bug the RV dealer to find indoor parking...?
Love the cargo trailer conversion info and opinions. Those extra insights are really what make this channel so great
love ur mom
Wow, I really like this and love the bunk beds for the grand kids, only thing, I'd want a window lower bunk too! Can that be put in? Would add a fridge that has the separate freezer and solar panels too. This is actually doable! Now to trade my little car in for a pick up truck! Oh, also add lots of color in there! 👏❤️
It's a great trailer, but that lower bunk situation is awful. Either your head is in a unvented box, or it's at the the bathroom door.
It's really is a nice unit, I personally think it should be closer to the 10,000 to 12,000 dollar range but still very nice.
Can my chevy express 2500 tow something like this?
@@anything7554 Sure can
It’s funny you brought up converting a cargo trailer into a camper, honestly there are generally two reasons why it is beneficial to do that over purchasing something like this.
I have this exact RV for me and my family of 4 it's perfect!
He's telling the truth I've looked at mini cargo trailers roughly around that size and they run and that's relatively the cheapest ones around 4500 the nicer ones are going to run you anywhere to 8,000 even up so yeah that's definitely a good deal great video
Cute starter camper!!! 😁
Their website shows an exceedingly desirable option without the bunk house and FULL bath... very decent option for those quick escape-weekends. peace
Exactly, unless you enjoy building it would not be worth the time
Yeah, but they're not made very well...let me know when Honda makes one. They were bulletproof in the mid,1990s
I like the size of this camper and the price is fair. Thank you for sharing this video.
Man this is gonna be a perfect rb for a family of 4 ppl not onlyfor the price but the size as I can even have my friends live here 😊
