That’s how my clutch was I have an 04! I got a new clutch at 75k miles. They need to grease your clutch and you’re good. A lot of people who get new clutches have to bring them back in to get greased again.
2004 model introduced a clutch delay valve which restricts the rate at which the mechanism operates. I suspect if you remove it, which is a popular mod, you will cure the clutch issue. I’m 6’3 and daily my s2k. Get a BYS seat rail it gives you more headroom and clearance between legs/steering wheel. A must do if you’re tall in this car imo. Might fix your seat squeak too. A heads up Bride (seats) - pronounced ‘breed’, not ‘bryde’.
subies Hondas and sttangs are all sick... butt once you really know how much went into making the s2000 and once you get behind the wheel of one hp all of a sudden doesn't matter.
For #4, you should see if it's the seat belt rubbing/chaffing the shoulder portion of the seat. If it is, I fixed mine with a thin piece of cloth tape/hockey tape on the seat. No more squeaking in your left ear.
The blind spot thing is the best pointer.and i dont think mirrors are going to fix as said in the 'comments'. vision is everything when doing speed and overtaking
One more 😜... What I hate about MY S2000, but some background first: ***Barn find alert*** I found a 2003 (AP1) with exactly 14,110 miles last September. I'm a lucky bastard, bc I wasn't even looking for S2000's, I just wanted to see one and sit in it to see if I fit (am 6'1"). This one was on eBay but only 30 miles from my home, so I went the next day to see it. Long story short: I couldn't believe my luck: One owner (a little old lady - for real!) who had bought it at age 60 and was now selling it at age 75. 2 hours later I wrote a check for the asking price of $22,900 and drove it home! They even let me use their plates and agreed not to cash the check till Tuesday when I got finances in order. So now that you hate me (be nice, I'm not young and have never had luck like this!), one thing we both surely hate about our S2000's: The left driver's seat leg bolster collapsed. Even on my crazy-low mileage car, the bolster pad is crushed. Can't see it because leather is nice and firm and kinda stands up, but sure enough the pad underneath is crushed just like what I see o yours. You don't feel it when driving, but its a "thing to hate" anyway ;) But, when I'm driving an S2000, I couldn't care less if the side bolster looks a little squishy...
Watching this from my CR lol. Gripe #1.... get an OEM hardtop👍. Visability is way better, and the s2k looks so much better with the HT. But then you can't just drop the top either. Thats in my top 5 things i hate about my CR not having a soft top to drop whenever i feel like it
@@padraiggalvin2807 oem hardtops are out there, but you'll pay a premium for a good one. If you don't care about quality or fitment there are several aftermarket options for much less. Hope that helps
@@jordanharris6484 I did, and I do understand what you mean, but it just funny, I thought the problems will be more like "fuel efficiency, spare parts, insurance etc"
For being "obsessed with these cars," you sure don't seem to know much about them. Many of your gripes are easily fixable, as many people have stated here (blind spot mirror, clutch delay valve, etc). You don't even know what that broken piece is in the cup holders. For being just an average owner who maybe doesn't get onto forums, join groups, etc, these things would be excusable, but you claim to be "obsessed." Do some minor research into these things and your problems wouldn't be problems anymore.
Title is BS because "hate" and "S2000" are never used in the same sentence... except maybe, "I hate going a day without driving my S2000" :D
da Bob your comments got me dead 😂
I don’t wanna drive a different car anymore, maybe if I get an RX7 and then I’ll consider Haha😅 I 🤍my gpw s2k

6'3" Here and i daily my S2000...dont matter if you tall...this car too good not to have. =D
Same here man 😂
Yup. I'm 6'1" with most of my height in my legs, but every mile is wonderful bliss.
For blind spots use a convex mirror, I use two convex on a motorcycle and they are great.
Your moustache is no 1 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
