I have to comment to anyone trying this job. This is an excellent video, all you need to do the job. A few things...I didn't take off the A/C belt, it's not necessary at all. If you don't have the hose clamp tool he uses in the video, use 6" and 8" vice grips. They will open all of the clamps and they hold the clamp off the hose in the locked position....way better than channel-lock pliers. Getting the hoses off and back on can be tough. If in your garage, use a flat basin to try to catch the coolant....it's a messy job. I also had an old blanket on the floor to keep the coolant contained. It took me 3.5 hours start to finish and I'm no pro by any means. Thanks to TRQ for the video, awesome job!
Is there a way to remove the water pump pulley itself. Im going to replace my 2007 yukon denali intake camshaft position sensor, but the harness has another bolt behind the shaft pulley?
Is there a way to just replace the pulley of this style? The other videos show ones with bolts holding the pulley on, but our trucks pulley looks like this with no visible bolts

What was the purpose of taking the bottom belt off?
He probably removed the compressor belt so the radiator fluid wouldn’t dump all over it. Smart.
Thank you for including torque specs.
Removing belt around AC compressor is pointless and use RTV sealant to hold gaskets in place
Perfect job bro.
If only all how-to videos were as clear and easy to follow as this.
Thanks with right tools is super easy recommend get a Milwaukee power ratchet and a digital torque meter
I have one question..I have a 07 2500hd 6.0 that is fluctuating on the tempature.. would that be a thermostat going out or the water pump?
I’ve learned a lot from these guys videos but, taking off the A/C belt was a waste of time and unnecessary…
Im guessing I could do this while replacing my radiator and thermostat?
What was the reason for changing. Leaking. Noise or bearing damage???
Thanks for the video guys .
That's a nice looking green belt , do they still make them ?
The thread part where a fan would go should it be rusty or no?
Don’t you have a fan clutch you need to unscrew from the treaded shaft on the end of the water pump pulley?
Do you need to use a gasket sealer ?

Mine had back pressure and started spraying out of were the hose connects
I guess I'll be hiring someone. 😮💨
Do you need to bleed the coolant system ?
No glue or seal thing for gasket?

Wait, I think I missed a step…..what about the fan???
I skipped the bottom belt, hope that wasn’t important 😳
I’m convinced this dude purposely makes things more complicated so we’ll pay mechanics like himself for the work😂
i did everything on the video put it still gets hot i cant find out what’s wrong
DO YOUR RUN IT WITH THE LID OFF SINCE IT AINT HOT YET SO IT CAN BLEED OUT THE AIR OR JUST ADD THE COOLANT ,CLOSE LID AND THEN RUN IT ??????
WAIST OF TIME TAKING THE LOWER BELT OFF I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY YOU DID THAT. TEACH THERE OWN . THESE ARE CRAZY EASY TO DO
One step missing ….. fan removal 🤷♂️
How are people watching a tutorial and telling the teacher their wrong in one of their steps, excuse me but you came here for help not them😂
Hahahahahha ac belt was useless
