Woke up this morning with this song running through my head for some reason. I probably haven't heard it for 10 years, but I still remembered (almost) every word. Somewhere I probably have a casette copy of the accompaniment track from performing it as special music for our church in Orrville, OH. I think I discovered BTR many many years ago at Alive Festival (maybe 1998 or so) and have always loved the meaningful lyrics, and simple but catchy melodies and instrumentation. You sound as good as you did (what must be) nearly 25 years ago! Be encouraged that this work that was done years ago continues to bear fruit in the hearts of so many who have been touched by the lyrics and melodies. Thank you for opening yourselves to being used by the Lord in such a lasting and meaningful way!
Many years ago this song was played for my when I was first finding Christ. It had a huge impact on me. Today I am struggling in my faith. Gave been for a while. This video just happens to pop up in my RUclips feed? No it's God working in my life.. Amen 🙏

He can go to your fathers nest, your grandmother as a little girl, and also your future endeavors. He is already there. He have all the time in the world to listen to an airplane pilot that prays while the engine stop working.. and all the time in the world to be listen to you right now. He have all the time to be with you in the future, and so, pray to Him right now.
I heard this song back in the mid 90’s. My pastor sang some of your songs in our church concerts. He turned me on to your music and I’ve always had a special place in my heart for them ever since. Now that I’m a pastor, I’ve encouraged some of our youth to listen to your songs. There’s such an anointing in them, from the lyrics to the musical arrangements. Thank you so much my Brother for being a big part of my new convert years. By the grace of God, I’ll be celebrating 30 years in the Lord. The lots have fallen in pleasant places! We’re missionaries now in Chetumal Quintana Roo México! Still fulfilling God’s command to go into all the world and preach the gospel. God has been beyond good to us! I absolutely love this song. It's been on my mind lately and I decided to find the video and then your official channel. Thanks for your performance. This song was a very big part of my life when it first came out. I think I may have seen you in concert prior to the release of this song. I had experienced quite a bit of pain in my life at the time from a divorce and was just about to be remarried. My husband and I will be celebrating 29 years of marriage this month. I was a wedding coordinator for several years after that at my church. I feel like this song is just as relevant today. Lots of tears streaming down my face, thanks for helping me to release some stagnant energy and stuck emotions. Music heals and today this song brought back pleasant memories of a difficult time in my life :)
I miss hearing BTR so much! Open All Night is one of my favorite albums of all time, and of course, Two Sets of Joneses in a CLASSIC! It's too bad that modern Christian radio seems only interested in playing the recent stuff. Some of it is really good, but they ignore all of the great music that came before.
Just one of the best bands always love the lyrics. When I was a youth pastor they put some of our youth up on stage in Atlanta they got the Sing with them we used a lot of their songs for worship in the 90s
