Why is this a big deal if it’s not a big deal? If these politicians are public figures, shouldn’t the country know where they were born and what citizenships they have? Why would a politician aspiring to be a pm not reveal that he has dual citizenship? Why am I just learning that Markie British has dual citizenship? Why should we compare different levels of corruption and be required to vote for the least corrupt? Wouldn’t we still be voting for corruption? Why does Jamaica have a law that allows for British citizens to run for pm? Was this a mistake or is the context of this law a holdover from colonial times just like many other crazy parts of the Jamaican constitution that are currently being reviewed to have them updated /fixed? What happens if war breaks out in England and them send fi Markie British fi help them if he is a Jamaican pm at the time, how does that work out for Jamaica? Was Markie British concerned that the JLP administration could have revealed his dual citizenship status hence why he was always seen as a soft opposition leader who wasn’t putting enough pressure on Anju and his long list of corruption issues? What if Markie British is a British plant? What if Jamaica is being fooled into voting for a James Bond character? So many questions about this non issue issue🔥
