Mixed with the muscles having so much tension and the tendons being so strong and thick that its all just pulling the arm up. The cartilage and tendon size is blocking the full lock of the joint. A lot of this also starts from the neck (cervical spine, specifically the atlas), ie: Carpel tunnel starts from the neck. Gonstead chiropractic (Dr Rahim , Dr Ian, etc) would fix this

Had never heard of Devon till this series. Since then I’ve watched every arm wrestling competition there is to watch online that Devon’s involved in. Bloke is an absolute machine

It also, in turn, helps his endurance instead of blowing everyone out of the water it makes for a great match. Love how humble he is and has fun with the guys pulling but also coaches them and teaches them how to get better. Most champions like Devon teach like that. Being a fan of Devons for a long time you really get to see his personality in these videos and see how funny he really is. Keep the videos coming they are great!! I disagree with the first part. When you say devon was "doing it on purpose to help himself with his conditioning", when in fact (and in my opinion) he was doing it to help the OTHERS.... In another video he talks about the Senior in the Clubs always is the one to hold, while the lesser skilled (or not as strong) competitors/teammates would pull against him. Which is a segway into me agreeing that he is definitely being a teacher to them along the way. This was a great video to watch with amazing content.

For those who don't know devon larratt, he is one of the coolest armwrestlers of all time, he is a monster, famous for beating the best and his technic is the wear them out method with straps using his unbelievable endurance. He is the best technical puller there is besides brzenk the giant slayer. Devon is the roddy piper or superman as some say of wal bringing new fans in and awareness around this sport. He helped make the wal as big as it is and will be a legend for years on.

I know it hurts, fellas. You grow to love it, and begin to think about armwrestling at times when you shouldn't, like when you're deep in the throws of passion.
Not sure why a lot of people is hating on Paul. He is not cocky or delusional. He is amped up and competitive. Why you think he really don't want to get in the strap, he knows for sure he is no match for Devon. But at certain experience and strength level, you have a kind of puncher's chance with that first reaction based quick hit. And then there is the condition that no way is Devon gonna go offense fast and risk hurting someone (sure Devon is a defender at the very top tier, but anything slightly below that, Devon can do a quick hit easy, let alone at amateur level). Arm wrestling is very dangerous for people with strength but mis-ratioed bone density and ligaments. Against Devon no one would be holding back (cough Denis doesn't count cough). If Devon hits back fast with his power a lot of injury would've happened. So he knows Devon is gonna be defending. I'm guessing Paul thought he might get lucky on reaction time, get a good position and angle and make something happen. And who can blame him for trying that again one of the best. Paul is strong as F, probably 1 in 10,000 or more - rarely loses a match, so of course he is gonna try to give it his all against Devon and get hypered-up in the process. Devon is just literally one in a billion (not talking potential, just over all strength and mastery), able to keep everything under control, fun, and safe. Really great video and all those guys are strong. I like that Holly's arm doesn't look much different from a regular girl's, but can rip the arm off 97% of typical guys easy in a match. (oh and love the dad move! - to the few that watches and doesn't know, it's a joke move that puts a huge disadvantage on yourself. Don't try to do that in a bar or bet thinking it's an actual move lol) Keep the good contents coming.

For those who don't know devon larratt, he is one of the coolest armwrestlers of all time, he is a monster, famous for beating the best and his technic is the wear them out method with straps using his unbelievable endurance. He is the best technical puller there is besides brzenk the giant slayer. Devon is the roddy piper or superman as some say of wal bringing new fans in and awareness around this sport. He helped make the wal as big as it is and will be a legend for years on.

Not sure why a lot of people is hating on Paul. He is not cocky or delusional. He is amped up and competitive. Why you think he really don't want to get in the strap, he knows for sure he is no match for Devon.
But at certain experience and strength level, you have a kind of puncher's chance with that first reaction based quick hit. And then there is the condition that no way is Devon gonna go offense fast and risk hurting someone (sure Devon is a defender at the very top tier, but anything slightly below that, Devon can do a quick hit easy, let alone at amateur level). Arm wrestling is very dangerous for people with strength but mis-ratioed bone density and ligaments. Against Devon no one would be holding back (cough Denis doesn't count cough). If Devon hits back fast with his power a lot of injury would've happened. So he knows Devon is gonna be defending.
I'm guessing Paul thought he might get lucky on reaction time, get a good position and angle and make something happen. And who can blame him for trying that again one of the best. Paul is strong as F, probably 1 in 10,000 or more - rarely loses a match, so of course he is gonna try to give it his all against Devon and get hypered-up in the process. Devon is just literally one in a billion (not talking potential, just over all strength and mastery), able to keep everything under control, fun, and safe. Really great video and all those guys are strong. I like that Holly's arm doesn't look much different from a regular girl's, but can rip the arm off 97% of typical guys easy in a match. (oh and love the dad move! - to the few that watches and doesn't know, it's a joke move that puts a huge disadvantage on yourself. Don't try to do that in a bar or bet thinking it's an actual move lol) Keep the good contents coming.
