I love watching Devon give tips. He's so in tune with his and Eric's hands and position that he can just look at Eric or off into space, knowing exactly what to say by feel.
So chill and patient too, it's like watching a BJJ teacher roll with his eyes closed, giving tips to a student. Zen of arm wrestling right here!

If anyone was ever to open a school dedicated to primarily arm wrestling, Devon would be the ultimate pick. He's such a good teacher.
His passion and love for the sport really show with how much knowledge he passes on to anybody who's on the table

So interesting; I find that both Devon and Bugez tend to "act out" when just making an appearance, but as teacher and student respectively they are completely different. Devon particularly came across as a fantastic teacher.

Devon is such a good coach. He's super calm with the way he speaks, he takes his time teaching the techniques, he's never harsh, and he's really just soothing with it if that makes sense.

sticky ricky being out of his element is always so interesting to me. he’s clearly a committed learner, though, and devon seemed to pick up on that immediately. i don’t watch a ton of the arm wrestling videos, but love seeing two masters (and overall hilarious people) just getting into it!

Devon’s awesome. I could watch this guy train people to arm wrestle for hours.
juji had him inches from the pad and practically laying ontop of Devon but Devon still stopped it cold with barely any discernible strain. That's just insane. Obviously there's a skill gap i get that, but the strength to hold a man who has to be a very strong individual in his own right....at that position, while smiling.....it's just insane.

I think Devon gives a little TOO much information to noobs. It can get overwhelming to them. I think he should just focus on 2 or 3 things to teach them as a priority. Most of the hand and elbow movement manipulation is pretty advanced and not something a first timer can grasp.
Being only an arm wrestling observer for the past while, it doesn't seem that crazy, it's just that people can't handle it or aren't naturals to the sport mechanics. I've already internalized a lot of what the big names have put out (Devon, Michael Todd, Hutchings, etc.) and it's not rocket science, just a lot of technique and experience.
Yeah, Bugez seemed a little irritated, confused, and brain dead half way through. Should have more just playing around here

He should just show the toproll, hook and press. And mostly just teach toprolling since its the safest technique.

Not sure if it's a blessing or a curse getting coached in arm wrestling for the first time by arguably the best practitioner in the world. On one hand, you're getting awesome advice. On the other, you're literally trying out that advice feeling like a 6 year-old trying to win against dad.
I'm glad to see Eric getting amongst the fitness RUclips crowd more and more Eric should be doing way more collabs but the thing is he doesn't really have to

As a dude who has not had a ton of interest in the sport of Arm Wrestling (watched matches here and there), it is actually quite fascinating to see all of the ques, technique and mindset/strategy involved in it. It is like an active combat version of chess, focused through the arms of the competitors 🤘🏻.
Honestly it’s completely enthralling when you get into it. You have barely gone down that rabbit hole. There is so much to learn from watching RUclips videos before you even have to get on the table, who would’ve thought arm wrestling could be so complicated.

Devon is an amazing teacher. His will to share the many nuances used in arm wrestling is admirable. Table time with him is invaluable.
Devin is a great teacher and great ambassador! He overloads these newbies brains with info sometimes. I wonder if just keeping it simple step by step until they master each step might work more smoothly. He thinks like an armwrestler and most people he is around do too so it's tough to remember some of these people the info is coming at them 100mph!
