Hi there from New Zealand Thomas. What a pleasant surprise to find your RUclips clips, not sure how I missed them previously but have to say it's been an odd couple of years and with retiring and moving cities in the process hasn't done much for my screen time. I like the level of realism you have achieved by effectively modelling the big picture then filling that in with many of the little details such as the "dead" areas under the trees, the white flowers, fences, paths, and very effective overall weathering. Two particular things that catch my eye are your catenary wires and that you weather your rolling stock, not something that is at all common in this scale. Thanks for sharing your work.
Hello Thanks for the comments In my opinion its all about the details! - For the catenary, i saw some other layouts where the masts/wires had been detailed and it does really improve the look - especially the catenary wire - leaving them a shiny copper/steel color does not realistic so they were painted a light grey color. Weathering wagons can be daunting at first BUT the results are great - especially freight wagons!. i have yet to weather any Steam Loco's but i will do that one day as well! Keep watching for more updates (i have been busy lately so nothing new uploaded recently ) but i hope to have anew video completed soon Tom
Well, what a great video again Thomas, also lovely rolling stock , too!

Hi, nice video. We’re do you bought the landscape in the back? Is it like a wallpaper or what you are using.
Hello
backscenes are from Faller - its on a roll and you just stick it to a wooden board (i used double sided tape)
