It is a very good thing for the baby to hold the infant briefly lower 1-2 minutes connected to the umbilical cord, so more blood, stem cells and immune factors enter the infant's circulation. Short delay in cutting the cord makes a difference.
@@rraborn yes! But I’ve actually learned keeping the baby on the mother’s chest for the first hour has direct impact on breastfeeding success as well as body temperature regulation 🙌🏼
