Well, now you can say that a Grandpa watched your birth story. 😁 there were times that I just sat here and grinned feeling all proud of you and Chip. You guys are amazing parents. Thanks for making us Grandpa n Grandma. I love just sitting and watching the little human. 🙂 Mateo is certainly a gift from God.
I wanna tell you this...my mother gave natural birth to all six of us. So a few days before i went in for labour she said to me....just do not scream and perform like the ladies on tv. Its not that bad and millions of others went through it before you and survived😉🤭so that was all i could think of while in labour.
Congratulations!🥰 He's so precious! It's fun hearing the similarities between your experience and mine. I also had the 'what if I never have this baby' thought😅
So similar to my first pregnancy/ labor! I didn't need to be induced, but labour was quick and fairly painless until the last hour! And it was a boy as well!☺ Congrats!
I am so happy for you that your birth was so positive! I too look back at my hospital births with my midwife with fondness. I feel so much for all the women who have gone through long, difficult and traumatic births.
i had 2 hospital births and 2 home births.home births r the best 4 me!and yes pitocin is the worst!birth is amazing and wonderful no matter how hard it is.10 mo ago i gave birth to a 9 lb 4 oz girl and it was my longest and most difficult labor bc she was so big .but mentally my best labor bc i was in a good place mentally.i found kneeling on the floor on leaning on the birth ball and rocking w the contractions reduced the pain it actually made me think of ocean waves:)
Thank you for sharing! Your story was worth the wait. You look beautiful and I’m smiling for your joy and your gratitude for answered prayer. Welcome Mateo!
It's so good to see and hear from you Valerie! Aww! Sweet baby boy! He's so precious! 💙Enjoy every minute with him! I love hearing their little sounds come out of them at that age! What a blessing he is to you two!
Awww hi Valerie I missed your videos , this one had to be the most sweetest to watch with your lovely little boy Mateo congratulations to you and Chip on your sweet little one all the way from England 😀🥰
What a wonderful story!! I have been with you since the beginning of your channel and wow- you are so much more confident in front of the camera!! So happy for you guys and your son!
Baby Mateo is so cute and precious! Yes God was with you helping you and giving you strength to give birth. It was a positive and memorable time to keep in your heart always! Congratulations!
Valerie, your baby is so beautiful, and so are you! I love the name Mateo!! Your birth story is very similar to how my first one went. I enjoyed listening to it, and the memories that it brought.
Congratulations!! What a beautiful birth story.❤ It reminded me a lot of my last birth except I wasn't induced. My water breaking is always the first thing to happen as well. 😊
Congratulations again!! I was so excited when I saw tht you posted your birth story...I was really looking forward to hearing it! So thankful to God that you had a wonderful birth experience! 😊💙 My birth story was completely different then I thought it would be, but in the end my husband had so much to thankful to God for..... the way things to place even though it may have not been the way i wanted things to have gone!!! Really enjoyed meeting your precious baby! Praying tht your adjusting well and everything is going good for you guys!!🥰🙏
I’m so glad you had such a positive birth experience and your precious son is now here! Also, Crystal attended my first baby’s birth-she is such a gem! 🤍
I remember being ecstatic when my first child was born! I had survived pregnancy and delivery😊 and was enthralled with my little girl💕 The meaning of Mateo‘s name is so very special! He’s a little doll. I love the way you honor the Lord in your story!
So sweet Valerie! You'll be so happy you have all these details to look back on someday! As much as it might seem like you won't ever forget what you went through, after 17 years the details do become a little fuzzy!! 😩 I too went way overdue and was sure that my body didn't know how to go into labor!! 😂 Way to stick with it and make it through!! It's definitely a mind game!! Enjoy all the newborn snuggles!! 💙
"What if I never have the baby?" 😂 I think it's the most normal thing in the world to question how long a trial will last while we're still there in the thick of it. Thank you for sharing this part of your life, God bless you and your beautiful family! ❤️
Beautiful how you said even if your birth story was different you know God would have been there the whole time. And how your labor started at dark and gave birth as the morning light came up. As Jesus came as the light into a world of darkness. Beautiful birth story, God be glorified ❤️
Oh I hope you feel as good as you look, thanks again for your video, and letting us meet your baby, take care and I would like to encourage you, to take as many videos and pictures as possible, there can come a day where you will appreciate all your pictures and videos,
Your birth story is awesome! He is truly from God. You look like you are truly in love with him. You look amazing and happy. Love to chip. See you soon.
Congratulations dear sister god bless your family pray for us every one who don’t have kids best gift for your son request god to protect him you become proud of him as great scientist or important politician see him handsome groom his kids too bless with gorgeous children with him stay safe blessed good luck to you your family friends merry Christmas happy new year
Loved hearing your story!! My baby is almost 4 months old, but I honestly just love birth stories and the amazingness that it is! I had to wait on my midwife to come too and that’s just interesting.😄
@@ValerieKeim 🤩 wow that was a big baby haha. Your amazing and baby is beautiful. Im due in three months hope i can push mine out quick!!! God bless you!!!
This sounds quite familiar to my births (I had 4) With my 3rd I felt the urge to push and I was only an 8 but the midwife to me to go for it! I pushed and then I was fully dilated! it was way diff than my other 3 births for sure!
@@ValerieKeim I don’t know why but I do know that it can be dangerous to go against what your body naturally knows what to do during childbirth. Here birth is always managed by midwives , doctors are only brought in if they are needed, there is no extra money for managing a delivery. Your baby is beautiful by the way 😊✌️❤️🌈🇬🇧
I would disagree with the Pitocin. I did not know that yeah Pitocin causes worse contractions and I was put on it with my second born and they were very hard but then again he was born sunny side up so that might player on it I don’t know. I just know that I personally did not know what Pitocin was and was put on it and it increased my contractions.
Thank you for your recollections, you come across as a really sweet loving mum. Loved your video. Did you 'birth canal widen' to 10cm diameter prior to birth with 'Antenatal Perineal Massage'? totally avoiding episiotomy, and minimising tearing, to decrease our use of antibiotics in medicine and help hinder bacteria from becoming resistant to yet more of our antibiotics. 'Mums Independent' on Facebook Page have research paper and more info. My phrase from The Bible is Hebrews 11.1 'To be confident in what you hope for and to believe in that in which you do not see, is to have faith'. I hope that all mums will know 'how to totally avoid episiotomy' and believe that mums are good communicators and will find a way to share this knowledge and good news, addressing the plea of Dr Susan Hopkins, Consultant Epidemiologist, Imperial College, London "Don't break skin, don't let the bug in, so keep antibiotics working for future generations". Thank you for your reply.

Praise the Lord everything went so smooth and perfect😍
That was the same verse I prayed and prayed over my first baby's birth. ❤️
So special 🥰
