For those who want to farm a material for the printer; happiny dust has around 50-60%, and is generally pretty easy to farm near the fairy team star base if you get an encounter power normal sandwich.
And it's only used for Fling and Metronome, so it's overall usefulness is debatable.
Did this yesterday and noticed a lot more blisseys spawned too than from previous updates. Wonder if they increased the chances of finding them. (not an outbreak)
If you're in the terrarium and get a Chansey Outbreak, a really good sandwich is 1 Banana and 2 Bitter Herbas. Sparkling 3, Title 3, and Item Drop 3 for normal. Mowed it down in syncro with Vikavolt in 5-10 minutes and ended up getting 390 Happiny Dust. With the bonus of maybe getting a shiny and/or mark.
It gives 68 I believe
Beldum/Metang in the snowy area is also nice
I wish yamper came back because it has the ball fetch ability. So basically if the pokeball were to fail, it would get transfered to yampers inventory so you would still have the ball to use again instead of losing it
The best method for farming printer material I've found so far is as follows:
Fly to team star fairy base poke centre and head to the grass on the left/west side of the river.
Make a level 2 normal encounter power sandwich - tomato x1, rice x1, jalapeño x1, mayonnaise x1, and curry powder x1
Around 90-95% of your encounters should be Chanseys and Blisseys. Chanseys drop 2-3 Happiny dust, and Blisseys drop 3-4 Happiny dust. If you do this on the right/east side of the river you will only get maybe 50% Chansey/Blissey spawns as there will be a lot of Golducks and Flamigos on that side.
Iirc you can get well over 700 Happiny dust in just 1 sandwich with an efficient let's go farmer like Vikavolt.
Also I wouldn't say the auction house is now irrelevant. It's still worth swinging by now and then on the off chance. But yeah, definitely not worth soft resetting for anymore.
Edit: Happiny dust is weighted at 68% Iirc, so it's one of the joint highest weighted materials you can use.
Imo it will be better to farm under the terrarium to use the Synchro Machine which is far more better than Let's Go due to Pokémon AI sucking massive balls

Reminder that none of the version exclusive pokemon materials are used for any TMs (at least base game) which means loads of free use materials.
Got a Sport ball absolutely unaware that it was added into the dlc, but decided to use it to catch Ho-oh cause of the color combo
The almost afk way to farm materials is in the cave where the tera metang is. if u pop an encounter 2 dragon for duraludon. if u stand right behind a small rock in the entrance and send ur pokemon, it will fight until there is nothing left. i am testing different pokemon to see which is the best, vikavolt is good, but it will get the ko so fast the it will get stuck. I am trying Kyogre right now, is slow enough to get more spawns. I left it for like 5 min and it was still going. i have to stop just because there was a shiny duraludon lol. I hope it helps.
Farming chansey/blissey lv encounter is easy to get materials which is like 68%. Got close to 999 after a 30 min farm.

question. How can I upgrade the item printer from Great Ball mode to Ultra Ball Mode? I have printed Alot of Stuff and it's still not letting me upgrade it to ultra ball mode. the NPC keeps saying she's gonna need more time. and lots of time has passed. I Don't know what else to do. I have already printes tons of items Several times but it still won't let me upgrade the printer to ultra ball. Am I supposed to do something else that I am not aware of?
Just keep on printing - took me like 40 prints or 4x10 prints

other than looking fancy i think its for trade value
Some of us have ocd and want the ball to match the Pokémon as much as possible. To each their own but I prefer it that way personally
@@christaylor4786 Technically, there are no ball to match any Pokemon. The colors might be similar but that doesn't mean they match. Besides, there are Pokemon that you will never get a ball to match so your ocd will still be there. I just want to collect every Pokemon and maybe train some good ones. That in itself is already a huge task with over 1,000 Pokemo, not including all the region forms or alternate forms (like 4 forms of Sawbuck). Then you have shiny as well, which I don't care that much about.
