Group Quests Suck because I can't do that and have no friends to play with which sucks as well!

It really bothers me that they are forcing the players to play in co-op in order to unlock such a basic content. Pokemon is a solo game, you should be able to do anything in solo. The multiplayer is just a side feature that tbh aside from online pvp it doesn't really bring such a valuable experience. If I would like to play with other people online I would be playing FF14 or something like that. Anyways, I am sad to see that from RBY we are still in this mentality of locking content behind connectivity. And I guess that for when I will want to play this games again in the future I will have to be using a second switch, just like today I use gba's and ds's to get basic stuff like a Spiritomb in Diamond.

Be careful with Moltres if you are using false swipe. If there is a sandstorms after a few turns it will KO Moltres.

Another option instead of hisuian decidueye to hit the ghost type legendaries is a tatsugiri with soak and momento, use soak turn 1 or turn 2 if you quick ball turn 1, then use momento to lower the legendaries stats and ko yourself and get a clean swap into your false swipe user

I think my only restriction I plan to put on myself when catching these is that each trio will be in the same ball type. Not sure which ones I will use. I'm tempted to use Master Balls for some of them since I have wound up with 7 Master Balls from the item printer
I was originally planning on catching all of them in masterballs that I've collected from surprise trades...but with the Pokeball Lotto, I'm considering putting them in a matching apicorn ball.

I’m definitely shiny hunting in bdsp for every legendary Pokémon (missed darkrai event wtf) and then sword dlc just wish I could get all legends shiny as well as not also don’t have arceus yet btw.
The fact that so much of this paid dlc is locked behind another pay wall in the multiplayer is a joke.
Well technically multiplayer isnt behind a paywall, just need some people irl with the game. But yeah paying for online sucks
SOS Trevenant is very useful for low catch rate pokémon like Legendaries. You'll need harvest as its ability, a leppa berry, skill swap, and trick. This strategy allows the pokemon to not faint itself from struggle.
For Solgaleo, I'd recommend a Flash Fire Ceruledge with Tera Ground and False Swipe; This allows you to safely get Solgaleo to 1 HP. I recommend using thunder wave with a different mon before false swiping because it's too risky to switch to a pokémon that has a sleep move due to Solgaleo's 2 recoil moves.
Also you can get master balls from the item printer and from a mystery gift

So, if you catch a legendary here and there's an update later with a Shiny Legendary as a raid or prize can you still claim both in the same game file? Sorry a little new to the game.
if you have sword with the dlc and violet with the dlc or shield with the dlc and scarlett the dlc you can get all of them with out playing with any one for the people that don't want to play or both all 4 games because of Pokémon home

I've just been casually playing through the dlc but having to do all this extra with groups is making me have to play through faster.
To avoid defeating the legendaries that have recoil damage moves, there is a very old strategy for that. Use a Smeargle with Imprison, Flare Blitz, Wild Charge and spore. Then put him the Tera-ghost to disable normal moves and that it is. So just false swipe it on to 1hp, switch to your Smeargle and use Imprison, and start throwing your spore and poke-balls. I recommend to soak and memento every legendary in general, it will make having Smeargle alive easier in general,. You can also use paralysis and add in top of that the new gen9 wave crash, but for now, for me, I think that currently it is not really necessary. In case you wondering this Imprison strategy can also be used to deal with mons with Explosion or Memento.

Clefable's hidden ability prevents damage from recoil moves, so as long as the opponent has an ability compatible with Skill Swap, that can also be a solution. Many different situations require unique set ups though, so there's not really a 'one-size-fits-all' build. Do your research beforehand and prepare accordingly

Bc of the annoying Recoil moves I've been using a Ghost Terra on my False swipper to prevent recoil KOs
i hate that the legendary pokemon are shiny locked and you have to have a group to get all of them

I catch all shinies and 7 star Tera raid Pokémon with Premier balls. I wish I would have had the patience to catch all of the base game legendaries with them. I’m going to try to get all 25 of these in the premier. I wish we could get the ball that you get when you import Pokémon from Legends Arceus only balls.
A lot of work for shiny locked legendaries that I already have in non-shiny forms lol hard pass.

I have violet and I did a group for the quest with my cousin that also has violet and i was getting snacks for pokemon that are version exclusive to scarlet ( HO-OH, Reshiram and Glastrier) for now. So i dont think u need to link with someone that has the other game.
Yeah i also have violet and I did the same with my friend who has violet and we got all 25 snacks without needing a scarlet player

i have a couple questions about this. do solo quests while done in a union circle count towards this? will doing quests before the end game count towards this? i don't know anyone with violet and i have never used union circle before so how does that work and how can i join?
Yes solo quests before end game count and yes Union circle red quests count towards solo.

Good news you can if you have 2 switches do this solo. Bad news takes a long time especially if like me you have to keep resetting when you get find ditto task. I can never find them all.😢
I am so glad I grinded for 25 masterballs. Easy now with printing machine and trading apriballs
I wish I had done the same getting them all in Luxury balls was a nightmare 😅

Hi, Ihave some question, do I have to do a group quest, goto SnackWorth and catch the legendary, then do another group quest and repeat or can I just do 12 group quests continuously, then talk to SnackWorth and get 12 snacks at one?
You can do all the quests at once and after that talk to snackworth over and over again till you got all the stuff from him
Do you think there'll be an event where the remaining legendary pokemon like giratina, yveltal, xerneas, and so on will be added for us to catch like these ones?
you can already transfer giratina from pokemon home to the games. So there will very likely be a way to obtain them in the game. like in a tera-raid encounter e.g.

Having to do the Gold group quests for legendaries was annoying.

It’s sad that Kyogre and groudon etc all don’t change the weather in these areas like they did in previous games. Like for kyogre heavy rainfall or like earthquake for groudon. Would have been so much more better. They just sitting there and do nothing hmm lol

I did join a discord server to grind but I've got a friend with which it would nake things easier
The legendaries' catching for this game is so ridicolous and with every clause possible to make you waste time and, if you don't have NSO, money, that for the first time ever I'm really pondering the choice to get what I'm missing from SWSH (regidrago, glastrier, rapid urshifu, ecc.) from an external site and get it traded in (i guess you would need NSO anyway but for a shorter period). The requirement to get them doesn't feel fullfilling at all, just repetitive with the same 9 BBQ on repeat, plus the extra time to get a group and coordinate to do the group quests and I've never really been a fan of union circle, it feels bad to get forced into it
Can you only get one Kubfu? Also are the scrolls used up to evolve it or can its form be changed multiple times?
Yeah it’s one kubfu per game unfortunately but you can use the scrolls multiple times if you get another kubfu in game but once one kubfu is evolved you won’t be able to change the urshifu

Go to the auction area they can sell the scrolls
You can also buy items to combine kyurem with zekrom or reshyrem and necrozma with Solgaleo or lunala
And to change Dialga and Palkia into their origin forms
To do the group quests, that's 369 blue quests to get the 39 red quests

No, you don't have to do that again, they got saved
If you play multiple accounts on your game and have both games you can get 14 master balls that way. You'll need another Switch or a friend to trade over these balls to your main account though.

I made sure to catch Latios in a dive ball
I was going after Kubfu and it knocked itself out with Struggle....the problem is that I forgot to turn off my auto-save and eneded up with my file saving after Kubfu fainted. Is there a way to get Kubfu to respawn? Since we can't re-challenge the Elite 4?
Did it respawn? Because I read you have to wait a full day or just set your switch setting to the next day. It also says even if you save before the battle start and it KO’s the Pokémon it will still not appear if you exit the game and start it up again
@perlagonzalez2734 Yes! It did actually respawn. I found out a little after posting this that it would respawn after waiting. I had gotten worried because I tried setting the date forward on my Switch to see if it would work, but it didn't, so I thought I was cooked lol And of all the legendary pokemon for it to happen to, the ONE I actually wanted to go after so that I could finally have both kinds of Urshifu XD I thought I had had the worst luck possible. But yes, it really did respawn after a day or so.
already got all of them, most shiny, so just gonna have them chilling in the overworld. no need to catch shiny locked legends

go to the auction house. if you have it on you or in the bank the "special" auction will sell the items like the rusted whatever for zacian and zamazenta.
