- Here is a quick guide on how you can get all new Pokémon in The Indigo Disk DLC of Pokémon Scarlet & Violet for the Nintendo Switch. This includes new evolution methods.

Hydrapple is kinda hard to figure out how to best build for me. Defiantly worth it, but hard to manage if you don't know what your doing. any tips?

I really like how robotically iron Boulder moves. It builds itself some character for just being a quest pokemon. I hate normal terrakion, though.

@@GlennYarwood I hate terrakion because of its awful catch rate in the crown tundra (I caught Keldeo in like five minutes, but terrakion probably took me thirty), and because of the fact it looks like a grumpy old guy stuck in an ugly grey bull costume that would be used in parades. Virizion and coballion are way better.

Appearently from the convo with the professors at the crystal pool, these are the legendary trios but from different timelines altogether. So the beasts are from a dinosaur timeline and the swords of justice are from a robotic timeline.

Some thing you forgot to mention:
The metal alloy can also be found in chargestone cavern its probably so players can get it without spending BP
from which Biome? iirc Chargestone Cavern can be accessed via the Polar and Canyon Biomes.
It's the same way the Crown Tundra DLC for Sword and Shield gave you one free Magmarizer or Electrizer so you could evolve Magmortar/Electivire respectfully
You also get one for 190 Pokédex entries

Archaludon having 600 BST is really interesting! This makes it the first non-legendary and non-mythical, non-'pseudo legendary', non-alternate form Pokemon to have the famed 600 BST. Slaking is so cool *half the time* that it has 670 BST, and the actual closest contender is the Fossil Pokemon Archeops with 567 BST.
Edit: For those wondering, *traditionally,* a "pseudo-legendary" Pokemon is usually rare to find in its native region, is a level-up, three-stage evolutionary line and has 600 BST. Typically, it is the 'strongest' 'regular' Pokemon in said region. Although it is a fan-made term, they *do* exist as they have been assigned to be counterparts across newer games.
It having 600 bst makes it a pseudo legendary, does it not?

It is strictly not pseudo-legendary is referring to pokemon with bst of 600 with a 3-stage evo line if its a 2-stage evo line it doesnt count.

It's a Styracosaurus. Its frill is closer to one and it has the large horn on the front.
Entei is a Styracosaurus, Bastiodon is the Chasmosaurus.
A quick thought towards Trike fans who are certainly biting their teeth seeing every ceratopsian is gonna be represented before the most popular 😂

They turned Entei into a Triceratops.
Not really, its based more on a Styracosaurus based on the shape of the head. I think its related to the triceritops but thats about the extent of it.
Not really triceratops had three horns, here they gave it only one horn, but still a great design

Hydrapple has me so torn between using it or cinnamon roll Ogerpon for my Indigo Disc team.
They did Flapple and Appletun dirty by giving Dipplin the 3rd evolution.
I mean, Dipplin kinda look unfinished compare to the other two
@@itsadog7613 They can just skip Dipplin and go straight to Hydrapple, Hydrapple would look much cooler in a trailer anyway.
They might get one eventually, dipplin got an evo because it was made with the specific goal of giving kieran a new ace - and showing his development from teal mask (dipplin) -> indigo disk (hydrapplin).
Similar to how archaludon was made to be drayton's ace (and a giant reference to unova).

I was using a shiny Dipplin I raised to level 98, then I saw the evolution method after battling Lacey, which it grew to level 99, I put it on hold, beat Drayton, got Dragon Cheer, then evolved it at level 100.
Almost made a fatal mistake.
You can just use a rare candy to evolve a lv100 'mon.

I like a lot the design of Raging Bolt... it really does look like a different take on Raikou.
Walking Wake; A Suicune who really needs a Haircut
Raging Bolt; A regional Variate of Raikou
Gouging Fire; A caveman Entei
I caught my Raging Bolt in a dive ball because it was technically in water in that moment. I didn't expect it to work but it crit captured.
In the future, Applin will have more evolutions than Eevee 💀

Metal alloy is rewarding for catching 190 Pokémon in the Pokédex so you can save your bp points like I did. All the special evolution items are actually

You get a free Metal Alloy for 190 Pokemon in the Blueberry Pokedex, so no need to spend for Completionists!
Appearently you can find one in Chargestone Cavern

Indigo Disk didn't really have that many returning Pokemon. Is this it or are they gonna include more in the future?
Well in the trailer it showed more, so i guess you can transfer other into the game. But maybe they'll also add them into the game through tera raids
A hell of a lot better than Teal Mask. We got 99 returning/new mons from DLC1, and 165 from DLC2 plus 15 mons already in the dex with different regional forms, so 180 total.
We'll get more dlc all the Pokemon had entries
@@TheTsunaru That's not a lot. Sword/Shield had over 600 mons.
@@terminalsarcasm No it didnt. The two pokedex's from the dlcs had 421 mons and 50 legendaries that werent in the dex added to raid battles. Of those 471 mons, only 197 of them were new/returning/new form mons. All the rest of them were already in the Galarian dex and obtainable without the dlc/wondertrading.
This means SV's 279 new/returning mons is actually even better than SwSh'd was by about 40%. And that's not even counting the ones that are transferable into the game from Home that dont have Pokedex entries like a bunch of legendaries.
The game only has enough box space for 960 pokrmon. Adding "over 600" would make an ingame living dex impossible, not to mention would have been impossible in the first place since that would bring the total number of mons in the game to over 1000 at where only 898 existed.
Edit: Now, if I make the assumption that you changed what you were talking about from returning mons in the dlc to overall size of pokedex, you'd still be slightly off. SwSh's total dex was 597. But SV's is 679.
To get hydrapple to evolve beat the dragon elite member and he'll teach you dragon cheer. Teach that move to dipplin and level it up with this move and bam hydrapple

I was looking forward to catching the peacharunt the Pokemon responsible for creating/corrupting the loyal three. but, I don't know how to get it. Does anyone know the time and date when the event is going to happen?
Not yet. However, we do have conformation. Dataminers have found a specific item needed to trigger the event.

I did it differently. I traded shinies that i caught in pokemon go using the pokemon home app on my phone for the new pokemon. then i imported them to my copy of Violet and, viola! Didn't even need to buy the dlc.
Seeing all of these new pokermans make me think they should go back to Gen 1 and 2 design styles. They're just picking ideas out of hats now lol. A pair of keys really lolol

@@AdamDawson3 Well, even then, Serebii has it's appearence, Type, Stats and Pokedex entry, and one data mine suggests that our "Dokutaro" controls every one, including Arven, Penny, and nemona, but not Kieran, which might upset some people.
The next Pokemon Day is next year, not too far off, so some of us can wait.

Really don't like what they did for Rakou and Entei, it just doesn't make sense to have a "past" form of them, when it match with their lore...but then again, it's not the first time Pokemon's done this with established Legendaries.
