    Hope you're enjoying the DLC!
    One thing - I didn't cover the new move Upper Hand here. I'm planning to do a separate video on it, and I wanted to do more testing before including it as a buff.
    One more thing - WHY IS BASTIODONS TERA HAT SO TINY? 😂

    Technician + Skill Link Cinccino is basically real now, AND it gets "Dragon Dance But Also Removes Hazards". Some crazy buffs for the little chinchilla.
    Regarding Supercell Slam, Luxray also gets it now which is very nice.

    • @lynxfresh5214
      @lynxfresh5214 10 месяцев назад +40

      If there's any delusion that Luxray has suffered the worst out of any physical Electric type in terms of movepools, it has to wait until lv80 to learn Wild Charge naturally meanwhile it's Sinnoh contemporary Floatzel learns Wave Crash at lv62 and naturally has access to excellent physical water type moves with Aqua Jet, Aqua Tail and Liquidation before then, not to mention the buffs the Sinnoh starters got (the Piplup line straight up got a different and more "competitive" HA).
      Getting an electric type Jump Kick is novel but nothing that won't stop one of the best designed mons being stuck in ZU for yet another gen and it's pretty messed up too since Game Freak is well aware Luxray has remained a relatively popular mon ever since it's introduction (it's even used as a Tera raid example) yet the devs refuse to truly buff the lightning lynx for some reason... :/

    • @joshuakim5240
      @joshuakim5240 10 месяцев назад +13

      The main to consider regarding Cincinno is that:
      1. it has to actually survive an attack or utilize other team support to ever pull off Tidy Up if you want to use the Technician + Dice set, with some of said support becoming negated upon using Tidy Up (it removes screens and substitutes, for instance)
      2. its main moves have pretty bad accuracy, so it has serious issues with reliability.
      Honestly, i'd have preferred if it got Hone Claws instead for better consistency rather than doubling down on being a gamble to use.

      Unfortunately I genuinely think that Wild Charge is a better option for both of them, as Supercell Slam just has way too many drawbacks. Yes, it's 10 extra bp and there's no recoil, but you also lose 5% accuracy, and lose 50% of your health if you miss, hit a ground type, or into an electric absorbing ability like Volt Absorb or Motor Drive. And with Tera allowing anything to become a ground type at will, it's going to happen a lot.

      It's a very overlooked but interesting option, although its speed and access to Leaf Storm defined it as a big OU menace in previous generations, it can be used as a surprise set in doubles.
      Also, it's not really a buff, but a great interaction: since a lot of teams are spamming Sticky Web strats on the higher tiers thanks to Gholdengo spinblock, it'll be a nice anti-meta pokémon there.

    Something to note is that Temper Flare doubles in power whenever the last move failed. So if Great Tusk uses a ground or fighting type attack and the opponent switches to something immune to those types (flying types, levitate, ghost types), he will now have access to a 150 base power no drawback fire move. Add Tera fire on top of that and it will nuke anything not resistant or immune to fire type attacks.

Supercell Slam, Axe Kick, Jump Kick and Hi Jump Kick would all benefit from an ability that prevents the "crash" damage. It would be really good on Lopunny and could be a fun alternative with better move distribution for Bewear, Golurk and Swoobat. It also gets Highhorse Power, so it doesn't need to just use EQ or Stomping Tantrum for Ground coverage as well.
    And from other small changes - it got Aerial Ace and Roar back. Not really needed, but it does at least somehow broaden its options.

Loaded Dice Cincinno using Bullet Seed on Stamina Archaludon gives Archaludon a 3-3.5x defense boost at the cost of a tiny bit of HP, and when you pair that with Body Press, Archaludon becomes a physical one-shotting machine on top of already being a special attacking cannon. The moment I saw Stamina on Archaludon, my mind flashed back to Mudsdale and Toucannon back in Gen 7 lol it was a lot more gimmicky back then, but now it feels genuinely terrifying

    Rhyperior randomly gets Supercell Slam too. A fun new toy for Reckless builds.

      If Rhydon can learn that move then its Rock Head ability is more useful along with Reckless. Rock Head should block crash damage right?

      I don't think it negates crash damage unless it's through Magic Gaurd. I'm not sure if it's been changed to be sure, so I could be wrong.

    Holy crap great tusk having temper flare could be an amazing counter to a corviknight, if corv switches in on headlong rush, great tusk can just go for boosted temper flare to OHKO it.
